Fallout Equestria is a fanfic that combines fallout and my little pony and it is one of the most autistic things ever put on the internet.

It's written by KKat, a furry guro artist and man pretending to be a woman on the internet:

Like most fanfic auteurs, KKat can't take criticism. He can't take it so much he wrote a full essay whining about it.

This, together with the fanfic "Past Sins" are some of the worst things out of the fandom, when it comes to writing.
Past Sins got its fair share of hardcover books too, so it's no surprise this is getting them as well, considering it's so long and has an entire fanbase of its own. (Fandoms around fandom things is the most crazy thing anyway)
I love how they are sucking out the innocence of a kids cartoon with every thing they do.

The thing I find the most intriguing is how the story misses the tone and feel of both Fallout and MLP. It's like they just wanted to write a story about edgy, violent hor- wait a minute.

And, well:
I've met quite a few people from this sub-fandom through things like Team Fortress and tumblr and I must say... they're all the same person. Each and every one of these people say and do the same things. If you ever have the (mis)fortune of speaking to one of these people, you'll likely find that they either have uncontrollable anger issues, or really, really like violence, to the point where it becomes a mainstay of their bizarre pony obsession. I can't rightly understand why such a strange combination of things attracts these sorts of people. Maybe they just like horses but also like decapitations, bloodshed, and plot contrivances.
And I guess it goes without saying that the story is wholly unsatisfying and dreadfully predictable, as fanfiction is wont to be.

As dark as Fallout is, it still has a lot of optimism and humor behind it. But FE? Just grimderp all the way. Although it does make the fic pretty funny(unintentionally)

In regards to the author, I just thought the guy was an autistic brony. The fury guro art is surprising. That said, how mature of him in responding to criticism, making a tl;dr essay of whining. The story he wrote is really just nothing more than a bad mish-mash of Fallout and pastel horses.

The fandom pretty much makes a bunch of shit that while they find to be good, everyone else sees as low-tier fan-fic crap.

If a FE fan said there was optimism, I like to know how much of said optimism is really just ripped out from the actual Fallout games.

I bet the edgelord who wrote this fic only played 3, since that one installment brought a lot of edgelords into the Fallout fanbase with its unrelenting grimdark grimdarkness.
