I still dont believe we should hold our tongues regarding the doxes, otherwise we might not be different to reddit.
Maybe we should ask nuill for permissions to use the private tags outside OPs, since unlike most cows threads, we talk about a bunch of different people at different times, not to mention OP is dead or disinterested.

I disagree on hiding doxes. I think there is a lot of value in almost everything on the site being open and ceding ground on that is bad.

The typical doxes here are also weak sauce compared to most sections of the site. People freaking out over a face and a name compared to posting everything but the address of the lolcow kid's school.

anyways, just catching up the last 10 or so pages.. seems I somehow missed PC asking Jersh to take down a post about Pippa here on the farms? Someone point me the url because I am blind as fuck, that or this is a joke(?). Seems like what I want to post (mostly Towa's bday 3D stream) has been posted. Its good to be back, sure hope it stays that way for a bit.
 
I think just so long as it doesn't get the full names I think we're good.
People can do a lot with names and some people come to the farm specifically for information like that

Just went back & double-checked Null's posts in this thread - he never really said that we couldn't use them, just that he didn't particularly like it nor want the habit to spread to any of the other threads.

oh hey we're back. missed you guys. also fuck you all! all your guys sperging out for pippa made me check her out and now I am watching her too. then she collabs with tenma and I think I found a new favourite. she is absolutely hilarious and there's something about that baba fox voice that just gets to me. I don't have enough time in my life for more vtubers dammit!

Tenma has cornered the wine aunt v-tuber space and it is wonderful. If you need more people to suck up all your life Uruka is doing a Jazz saxophone stream which is extremely comfy. Same company as Pippa and Tenma.

Content is content, ASMR is entertainment/content.
Calli has been very open about not being as interested in just streaming games and she has since stopped from streaming her music making process, so ASMR is just another form of content for her that doesn't necessarily have to involve the former two.

I can agree with you that ASMR isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea though.

ASMR is one of those things that I listen to depending of how I feel.
Headaches are a real occurrence for me, so listening to a soft voice, regardless of what it says while Im trying to sleep really helps me out.

Nothing wrong with that. Not unlike listening to the sound of rain or whale songs for relaxation.

It's not the quiet voice that bothers me tho, it's the simulated intimacy framing. Things like "let me massage your ears" or "listen to my heartbeat" sound like the vtuber is inviting the viewer to pretend to be in a close relationship, which I find creepy.

Nobody cares about a picture that was taken of the person but if you start posting things that are incredibly personal then it shouldn't be posted because guess what?
