It's funny, I just finished up watching that one. I don't give a fuck if he's from the Maritimes or not. This mother fucker is claiming he's from Newfoundland. Newfoundland =/= the Maritimes.
Any more where he talks about his life would be much appreciated. Here are some issues I picked out with that one that seem to indicate he's either not from Newfoundland or at least totally full as shit:
-He claims to be from St. John's. (
https://archive.md/86IsJ) I can't find his age. He claims to have worked for 12 years before he ever put up a youtube video. (
https://archive.md/VwlQC)
His first Youtube video went up around 2017. This means as per his Twitter posts he started working ~2005. This will be important later.
-He claims to have worked in a Pizza Hut on the highway. There is one Irving on the highway in St. John's near the Pitts Memorial Drive cloverleaf. AFAIK is has never had a Pizza Hut. The only Irving I recall having a Pizza Hut in St. John's was on Elizabeth Avenue. I am 99% sure that was closed by 2005 and they had opened the little one up in Churchill Square. Here's a telephone book showing all the Pizza Hut's in St. John's in 2002. This is a few years before he claims to have started working. You can see here there's a Pizza Hut express in Irving listed on Elizabeth Avenue and one on Stavanger, an area I didn't go to much. Again notably, nothing on the highway:

Why does he say it was on a highway if it's on Elizabeth Avenue or Stavanger which are certainly not highways? If he started working in 2005, how could he have been working at the Pizza Hut in the Irving on Elizabeth Avenue? It's possible an Irving in Gander or Deer Lake or something had one during this timeframe.
-He claims a drunk guy came in asking for beer and they wouldn't give it to him. Beer generally is not kept behind the counter in Newfoundland gas stations, it's just out in the regular coolers by the Pepsi and milk and shit. Why would the drunk guy be asking the person working there for beer? Why wouldn't he pick it up and bring it up the the counter and pay for it? Now, I know ESSO on Elizabeth Avenue, up the road from the Irving with the Pizza Hut used to keep their beer cooler locked because they were close to some Newfoundland & Labrador housing and used to have trouble with kids stealing beer so I guess I can give him the benefit of the doubt to some degree. Even then though. It is not unusual for a drunk guy to go into a gas station to buy beer in Newfoundland. The beer cooler would not have likely been locked up at the Stavanger Irving. This is not something stores here generally do and it's only done when there's a problem. I've literally only ever run into it at Stockwood's on Freshwater Road and ESSO on Elizabeth Avenue and I drink a lot of gas station beer.
-This is the very telling one... he talks about a gas leak. He says it wasn't gasoline. What kind of gas was it? There's no natural gas heating in Newfoundland and there never has been. There are no public gas lines of any sort and there never have been. The ground is too rocky and the population is too distributed to make it cost effective, and the majority of people have electric heat with maybe a woodstove or propane fireplace for backup. Some places use furnace oil, but that's basically indistinguishable from diesel in terms of smell, which pretty well every Irving in the St. John's area sells. Anyone from St. John's wouldn't call that gas, they'd call it furnace oil. I guess they could have had propane for an oven or something in the store and there could have been a propane leak, but if there was a propane leak so bad they smelled it all though the store, they'd all be dead and that Irving would blow up like the Trimac building did a few years back. And again, nobody in Newfoundland refers to propane as gas. That's just not the vernacular here.
I'm writing this after I wrote the above:
Tim Horton's is tricky because each one are owned by separate franchisees.
He says here people working there full time made about $14,000 a year. $14,000 / 52 / 40 is $6.73. That would mean if this was in Newfoundland it was between June 2006 and January 2007 when minimum wage was $6.75 an hour. If he was 19 at the time, this would put him at around 33 or 34-years-old if he is from here. So he actually started working around 2007, not 2005 as I stated earlier. The Tweet I archived was inaccurate.
Hmmm.... a Tim Horton's next to the highway, across from a bunch of big box stores, could only be the Aberdeen Avenue or Majors Path Tim Horton's given the timeframe. That would probably mean the Irving he is referring to is indeed the Stavanger Irving and the Winners he talks about in another video is the Aberdeen Avenue Winners. There's been a Star Bucks up around that way for a while too and I think he mentions working there. So he lived and worked up around Stavanger. The Irving had no Pizza Hut by 2009 as per Google:

Maybe it did in 2007-2008 when he would have worked there. I dunno. I really don't think it did, but I was never in that part of town often.
I'm going to classify the Newfoundland status as plausible, but a lot of stuff from that Irving video is still really obvious bullshit. I wonder if he grew up in the Hussey Drive trailer park across from Stavanger
