@kadmckool I don't know why people feel the need to make comments like this.

Luna left Niji Gamers for her own reasons but still saw her contract out to its completion.

Lulu left because she was literally getting stalked and harassed and felt it was necessary to eject herself from the public eye. There is absolutely nothing Cover would do better than AnyColor in regards to that because both companies adhere to the same bullshit laws and have to play ball with a wildly incompetent and sluggish police force. She graduated a day before Kiryu Coco: a Hololive member who suffered ceaseless harassment for 8 months.

I can't fathom a reason Lulu would 'jump ship' because it certainly wouldn't solve her stalking/gachikoi issue (in fact it would likely make things worse). She gains nothing from the move. What a silly thing to say.

I love how Nijisanji is now suing Narukami because they enabled Roa to be a petty bitch. Who's reputation will likely never recover to what it was between Susan's algorithm basically abandoning her due to a year of inactivity and because everyone knows she's a bitch.

If Narukami's smart he'll wear the lawsuit as a badge of honor. If God has a funny bone, he wins the lawsuit.

Edit: Scuttle, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna meme the company and the bad apples in the talent, this is nothing personal.

You're fine. I've always been one of Nijisanji's biggest critics in regards to how they handled the Meiro/Roa situation and I have no desire to defend them for it. I also don't plan to defend Roa, who I greatly lost respect for when those messages came out.

I don't, however, wish to see Nijisanji lose this case, solely because it sets a precedent and emboldens him and people like him to continue harassing, stalking, sending death threats to, and committing libel against V-Tubers that may or may not belong to a company you like. Wishing for anything else is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I'm not sure how closely he will clutch his badge of honour whilst behind bars or ¥500,000 in the hole.

Also not a Roa defense, but I would almost like to see her come back just so I don't have to watch Belmond and Debiru's reactions whenever she gets brought up. The stream Belmond's voice cracked when he was talking about hoping she comes back soon gets me man :(

It's possible that the Anycolor Vs. Narukami case may have nothing to do with libel against Roa, but this article from May 25, 2020.


Narukami alleged a few things:
• Nijisanji were struggling to wrest control of their company after partnering with Sony Music Entertainment (SME).
• They were forcibly lowering the streamers' cut of voice packs from 40% to 5%. SME were wanting too big of a cut from the efforts of the streamers.
• 30 members were poised to leave as a result of this.
• Tsukino Mito was told she could leave after a project was forced upon her.
• The COO was forced to step down.

Nijisanji responded with:
• All streamers have always got a 50% cut of voice packs and that, at the time of this post, hadn't changed. There's no reason to assume this changed now.
• There was no disrespecting Mito's (or indeed anyone else's) opinions on participating in collabs.
• They were considering taking legal action against the creator of the video.

As an aside, it came out later on that Iwanaga, the COO, stepped down from his position because he had cancer, but is still affiliated with Anycolor.

As for badge of honor, well, it's the shit poster in me, but it would be a hell of a thing to say afterwards that you as a person pissed off a company you hate so hard. Regardless of context.

Just playing Kronii's SC reading continuation and she just absentmindedly read an SC from someone with the username "Hunt the impaired" and belatedly realized it - gasping and throwing her off and speechless for a few moments before gingerly saying "Please don't use that username". Continued the SC read for a few more minutes and it evidently still bothered her to the point that she apologized to chat for "not thinking before reading".

Girl's gonna have to get used to that shit from hereon out.

People should know better than to try and fuck around with Mito tbh she's put her own company on blast more than once, never mind rumours passed onto V-Keemstar.

What's interesting is that the rumours DID have some credit to them, so there were rrats that it was Mito herself who planted the misinformation for him to make a video on so she could grill him. I'm pretty sure it's unsubstantiated, but extremely funny if it turned out to be true.
