Yeah he definitely isn't fabricating these behind da scenes tips. But rather hiding them when others aren't tipping to try to bait more tips. If these people (read: person) don't even show up to the streams, and certainly don't talk in the chat, I honestly wonder why he even announces the tips at all, instead of just thanking them behind the scenes and trying to milk more tips.
Because he doesn't actually have that many supporters and knows that using the hidden tips to get near a goal will work to get at least the rest most of the time. Even if it comes from only one other whale.

"The first tip in almost 2 hours".
SilentBob tipped you less than an hour ago.
Except that tip was sitting there for hours. So in Phil's mind, he can guilt his audience for not tipping in 2 hours, even though from their perspective, he just got a $37 tip.

Not a shred of conscience at work today.
Unfortunately they aren't smart enough to wonder exactly how long that tip was sitting there.

Can't expect much from a group that:

Pay Phil to work for him. For free.

Pay for attention they almost never get. When they do, it's usually flippant.

Pay to walk him though games.

Buy games for him he might play.

Vote in polls he never honors.

Only for them to announce that they're the ones in control and they're definitely not in a cult-like pattern.

I'd wager no, but only because he doesn't have enough whales anymore.

Once he has enough to play against one another, then he will train them to do just that.
I’d love to see his communications with the whales.

If Phil was a cult, he’d be Scientology. And the whale communications would be OTVIII.

A plane of existence so far removed from every day life it’s almost incomprehensible.

Like... What on earth would possess a human being to just toss hundreds of dollars to an incompetent scumbag like Phil?!?

The motivations and thought processes of an ISIS suicide bomber are straightforward in comparison.

Is there hypnosis involved?
Does he beg and please?
Send nudes or whore out Khat?

It’s probably something incredibly mundane and boring since it’s Phil:

“Stream is looking a little slow, could you throw in one hundred in an hour?”

“Yeah ok, look for the usual email. Call me PhilSmokesCrack ;)

But still... I’d love to see the leaks one day.

I think there is a good chance he is fabricating the amounts. I could see this being a scenario where Phil gets $40 each day from SilentBob with an agreement that he'll shout out whatever he feels is appropriate.

The reason I say this is because the amount seems to correlate with what Phil 'needs' on stream - he was really low today, and he took an inordinately long amount of time to read his email, before busting out the $37 from SilentBob, after days of $24 from Bobajo.
The only other way this would happen is if this person is watching the stream every day and deciding just before break what to tip. However, Phil has heavily implied the last few days that these tips come in much earlier and he sits on them, meaning there'd be no way for the tipper to know how things are looking right before break, and he previously described SilentBob as being someone who does not consistently watch the streams live.

So, while it's just a theory, to me it makes the most sense that in addition to the rest of the scam, Phil is consistently lying about the variable amounts. It's fixed, and he makes the call of what to shout out on the fly.
It'd be easy to prove my mentally ill conspiracy wrong by just doing the ethical thing and insisting the person tip through normal channels to trigger a pop-up, but in the meantime the Autistic Illuminati will work on cracking the Polack PigVinci Code.

The other day he said he got one then refused to say how much it was, doubt he'll mention them ever again. Free money dood.
Yeah, similarly, there is no reason not to assume this. Phil, again, removed any means of transparency and very obviously attempted to hide money. At this point, it's safer to assume he's hiding things than that he isn't.

To play devil's advocate, the one argument against this is the fact that Phil wouldn't remember those 3 numbers with those 3 names. In other words, SilentBob would one day tip $24 and another day $25 and another day $37. Instead, it's always SilentBob with $37, $25 from OneMinuteMan, and usually $24 from Bobbajo. If Phil was left to make up the numbers, they would be all over the place.

"People are still talking about it" in reference to his BK chicken sandwich. This meme is more forced than Milhouse holy shit.

EDIT: The franchisee has STILL not reached out to Phil yet. If they don't get back to him soon, he is going to contact corporate to seek RESTITUTION. :lunacy:
I wonder if Phil can combine a lawsuit against Tevon, Snort Burnell, Kiwi Farms, Twitch, and Burger King to make them all apologize to him and click on his ads dood

Crazy to think that all Phil does is reap the benefits from his audience while giving them the least bit of reward possible.

Black character and he bit his nails again. WTF is with the nail-biting whenever he sees black characters? :story:
