This Nico scenario is exactly the kind of exchange that used to set off alarm bells that there was a troll tipper impersonating stream chatters to slip fake tips past Phil.
He can see the name and email, he knows who actually tipped. All those times [retarded] tips while pig pretends it's someone different.
It doesn't really matter who it is, and that shouldn't eclipse what this says about Phil, though.
The hilarious part is how badly Phil is mishandling these situations and clearly lying to his audience about the money, and the problem is how obvious this scam is getting.
Nothing new here.
Has he just got one whale left keeping him afloat?
One or two, but mostly one.

I see you acquired the next Life Is Strange super power.

Escalation & Termination.

If Phil ever crosses your path I hope the Gods are in your favour again.
Of course I'm the chosen one. The Karen to out-Karen DSP. I will call Youtube. I will demand he be taken down. And I will finally be the one to end him.

I think. What the fuck is Life is Strange?

Phil must be developing Vision Gout - gout of the eyeballs.

Characteristics of ocular abnormalities in gout patients

Gout can cause ocular surface abnormalities, such as tophi deposition, subconjunctival transparent vesicles and hemorrhage, and vascular changes. These features have important clinical significance in early detection of the gout and prevention of eye injury.

Much less NSFL than the penis gout photos.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure there was a member in the stream chat who decided to change his name to Nico after the tips came in to try and fuck with Phil since you can change your username whenever you want on YouTube.
The fact remains that Phil accepting these large, "generous" tips from random nobodies who have never showed up in chat before without a hint of suspicion still doesn't help your case, dude.
He claimed that he was getting chargebacks like a week ago and he's just not at all alarmed by getting $70 from a non-regular?

Nice theory, are you claiming that the Nico in the chat who was addressing Phil today originally had some other name?

And this has magic powers? Also, when the fuck was someone gonna tell me they made a new WarioWare!
Before it did. More like super powers Time manipulation - Telekinesis.

In the new one it's Empathy and absorbing emotions which as I said before. Faggot level to the max.

With you though @Jaracainofthewind, we can get the franchise back on track and take down DSP at the same time.

Sound good ? *snort*

Stolen credit cards? Can the writers be this good to us and give us a saga where Phil's life is financed by actual "illegal contributions"?

I'm sure this has happened to other streamers before..do they need to give the money back? That would be his greatest rant ever...trying to justify not giving back stolen tip money and how it was really the police and stream labs fault for not better fighting stolen cards.

The funny thing is when Phil brings this up in the past, he talks about the shoutout for the donation like it’s the some sanctified procession, that after he does that he has no right to have the money refunded. I can’t wait to see him talk about this with stolen credit card money. By the way, all dark web markets are honeypots, I’ll be excited to see Phil’s whales getting arrested and what Phil will say about that.

He would blame detractors and kiwi farms for making fake troll illegal donations to hurt him. Say his real fans are normal people who just want to watch chill content.

I'm going back in DDM's stream to see if there was even a Nico in the stream chat before the $20 and $50 tips came in tonight, and I haven't seen one yet. If someone was worried about someone else using their username in a tip, why wouldn't this person say something during the ENTIRE time that 'Nico' was sitting at the top of the leaderboard with the first $20 tip? Secondly, the Nico in chat didn't even say anything until nearly 15 minutes after the $50 tip came in. The $50 tip came in at 8:59 PM Phil's time. Nico in chat didn't say anything until 9:13 PM Phil's time. So nearly 15 minutes go by until this sperg finally notices both tips? I find that hard to believe even for a Phil fan. It was obviously some ironic fan changing his username real quick trying to fuck with Phil by hoping that he didn't accept/refund the tip.

The PlanetJeff dox was posted in October 2019 and around a month later, the semi-anonymous tips of SilentBob et al. started. I don't think it's that far-fetched to assume that they communicated behind the scenes and Phil coached Jeff on how to tip in a way that can't be traced back to him. Naturally, Jeffrey would still want Phil to know that the tips came from him and assuming Phil at the time was still lying about not being able to see personal information from tips, they agreed Jeff would use specific names combined with specific dollar amounts so Phil would know it was him. Everything about the way it's set up just screams of a boomer interpretaion of OPSEC to me.

Lolol! DSP for once sounding like the gaming boomer he is.

“Damn kids! If there isn’t guns and gore and zombie titties they just don’t care! You know what games used to be popular? Mario! And he didn’t have no guns, no siree! He was a plumber! And fought mushrooms and drainpipes and such!”

EDIT: What exactly is “genuinely upsetting” about it?! It didn’t get cancelled or delayed, it’s just not enjoying the popularity that DSP apparently believes it should have.

I could understand something like “its a shame more people dont get to try it!” Or maybe even a “it’s bad for the industry when a game that takes chances like Psychonauts fails!”-take.

But: “I am genuinely upset because people don’t like the same game
I like”?!

Perhaps DSP is subconsciously aware of how behind the times he is?

EDIT 2: Are games on Gamepass even included in the charts? Seems a bit strange if they are, since you’re not paying for the game but a subscription. 10 million people downloading a game cause it’s “free” and 10 million people forking over 70$ to download a game doesn’t seem comparable.

Having recently beaten Psychonauts 2, it has more to do with Phil being a boring, shitty streamer than anything else. I think the game is fantastic and from what I've seen, many people think so as well. He has shit gameplay, shit commentary, and stalls hard.

I'm still playing the game for 100% and am at 23 hours so far (Phil took over 20 hours). Phil being the gaming extraordinaire that he is, fails to see how well the game has been doing on other platforms like Steam. To me, it just sounds like Phil wants to bitch about a game he thinks deserves more credit because he likes it and is using whatever he can to make it seem like nobody likes it so that he comes out being a "champion" for it when in reality, it's been getting praise by so many people so it's not like it's a hidden gem like how Phil is seemingly trying to claim it to be

I think there is a good chance he is fabricating the amounts. I could see this being a scenario where Phil gets $40 each day from SilentBob with an agreement that he'll shout out whatever he feels is appropriate.

The reason I say this is because the amount seems to correlate with what Phil 'needs' on stream - he was really low today, and he took an inordinately long amount of time to read his email, before busting out the $37 from SilentBob, after days of $24 from Bobajo.
The only other way this would happen is if this person is watching the stream every day and deciding just before break what to tip. However, Phil has heavily implied the last few days that these tips come in much earlier and he sits on them, meaning there'd be no way for the tipper to know how things are looking right before break, and he previously described SilentBob as being someone who does not consistently watch the streams live.

So, while it's just a theory, to me it makes the most sense that in addition to the rest of the scam, Phil is consistently lying about the variable amounts. It's fixed, and he makes the call of what to shout out on the fly.
It'd be easy to prove my mentally ill conspiracy wrong by just doing the ethical thing and insisting the person tip through normal channels to trigger a pop-up, but in the meantime the Autistic Illuminati will work on cracking the Polack PigVinci Code.

Yeah, similarly, there is no reason not to assume this. Phil, again, removed any means of transparency and very obviously attempted to hide money. At this point, it's safer to assume he's hiding things than that he isn't.
I just wanted to point out a few things regarding 1MinuteMan, BobbaJo, SilentBob, etc. So from recent memory, these 3 only seem to tip when the tips goal for the stream hasn't been met yet before the break, which is very odd/strange considering these people seem to tip Phil way earlier in the stream (according to Phil). Phil only just started recently announcing that and started adding their tips to the total right before going on break. In the past, he would always add their tips after the break, which made it seem like they always tipped during the break. We now know that is not the case.

Maybe Peace can find out the info on this, but from recent memory, Phil secured his $150 in 2 day streams that I remember within the past week or two. During those 2 day streams, these 3 people didn't tip at all (that we know of), which is very odd considering they supposedly usually tip hours before the break according to Phil, which is why we see Phil always fumbling on his phone trying to find their tips right before the break these days. This is even more speculation that Phil is possiblely hiding even more money/tips from these people or that their tips are just entirely fake and are just used to 'pump' his tips total up to bait the next tier reward.

Speaking of these tips possibly being 'fake', another thing I noticed is that whenever the tips total is lower (like how it was $17 right before the break on the Tuesday Deathloop stream), that SilentBob will tip his usual $37 to propel Phil to the next tier of tips reward. In this case, it being the $50 tier reward. Whenever tips are 'better', it is usually 1MinuteMan or BobbaJo tipping anywhere from $21-$26 to reach the $100 tier reward. Again, you will never see these people tip if the $150 goal is already met.
