Yeah. Definetly not like other ppl like EmpLemon who put out long content that I actively watch. But I don't hate Mauler or anything, I think he is overrated in some circles and overhated in some others

His Star Wars videos were fun to watch. People crap on them for being long, but that's actually a pro for me. It's nice to watch long ass videos in chunks for the course of the week. But then I went to see whatever else they had and holy shit they're actually braindead. They have their head so far up their own asses they actually think they know anything about movies, despite only having seen cape movies and star wars.

I think Jay thinks that way because he is not as "analytical" as Mauler in his videos. Jay mostly wants to make funny haha videos for dumb zoomers, so in a weird way he might be self deprecating his own work. Yet, I think he is way less insufferable and less pretentious than Mauler and the rest of the EFAP losers.

The Southpaw drama had some potential for an entertaining sperg out but that aspie couldn't even keep the momentum going for a week before it burned out. EFAP is boring to discuss right now because it's mostly the same tired shtick and I think it'll be a while before they do something stupid enough to warrant active discussion again. I dont think it helps that EFAP is more or less infused with the Fandom Menace community at the moment so their comments and takes are pretty predictable.

I used to like listening to EFAP. Its ridiculous length made for good background noise. But literally all they ever do now is talk about capeshit. I can't think of anything less interesting than that.

Sonic Frontiers is beating GOW:R in the polls for game of the year. I hope it wins just for the sheer malding to occur online. Do they like Sonic Frontiers, or are they still in the "Sonic is for fetishist and losers and was never good and will never be good" phase of being an e-celeb?

A big part of the criticism of Mauler and the EFAPSphere is how boring they all are, so it makes sense that they'd eventually become too boring to even criticize.

Pretty much. Unless they do lolcow worthy stuff, we can only content ourselves with their plebeian opinions. They almost only cover capeshit and the most mainstream of mainstream media. They probably know they don't have the level to criticize more challenging works. I've never seen them propose an actual aesthetic analysis of a movie, because they don't have anything to say about them, they only know how to recite the plot and say what works or doesn't from a scenaristic standpoint. They're like 95% of all movie critics, it's just that they make their videos ludicrously long because they can't make concise points. The real EFAP (every frame a paintaing) was miles better than they could ever hope of being.

So I watched like the first 20 minutes of the GOW:R Efap and holy shit. I don't know if it's this specific episode or I just woke up to this fact but I couldn't stand listening to that shit. They spend the whole Efap just retelling the story, and their format is so fucking retarded - They play the cutscene and then they describe what happened in it. This whole format made the whole show more boring and unlistenable because half the time you jsut hear game noises instead of people speaking.

I recently watched the 20 hour Skyrim docummentary from Patrician TV and what a change of pace that was compared to Mauler and Efap in general. He had a lot more substancive stuff to say and specifically designed the experienced to be easy to listen to in the background. I feel like the formula Efap has can work, but right now there's people doing it a 100 times better then them

I think they really need a break

Congratulations on finally waking up to the utter quicksand that is Mauler's content.

Patrician TV is miles better at doing long form reviews, but his 12 hour review on Oblivion would've been 11 hours long if he didn't bitch as much as he did about people bitching about the length. Outside of that he's a fucking machine compared to Mauler.

I watched some of their stream, their being extremely mean and uncharitable because Synthetic Man doesn't like the same shit they do.

They aren't even watching Synthetic man's original videos, they're watching the bad faith heavily edited one made by Mauler, which is designed to make Synthetic Man as bad as possible by taking him out of context and jumping back and forth between clips that are hours apart to nitpick every inconsistencies and take every joke or sarcasm at face value, which should tell you how autistic the EFAP crew are.

They refuse to acknowledge the woke story beats in Ragnarok, the same story beats they criticize the marvel movies for having. Like all they woke crap we see in entertainment these days. They hold video games to a lower standards then movies clearly.

Synthetic Man even showed up in their chat in order to defend himself. But they refused to acknowledge him like the pussies they are. They won't let the person they accuse defend himself because it would go against the bad image their trying to paint of him.

The EFAP are nothing but bullies at the end of the day.
