I don't think you need to have 100% overlap in interests with another country for them to be your ally, nor do I think any country has 100% overlap with another's interest.

Russia is a dying nation that's slowly morphing into a Chinese proxy, and China still has claims over Indian territory like Arunachal Pradesh where millions of people live. There are also major disagreements over hydroelectric development projects in Tibet which is the source of most of Northern India's water, not to mention China's close support of Pakistan. Yes, there's trade between the two countries, but you're delusional if you think BRICS is going to have solidarity to supplant the established world order or that the Indians would want to live under Chinese hegemony.

India has also developed very strong relations with the US in the last 30 years and has even developed strong relations with the Israelis in 30 years where none existed before then. I think Trump's policies of pushing for favorable trade deals with them and giving them discounts on last generation US military tech is probably the way to go.

I want to become Indian. I want to look down at my skinny shit-brown arms and fat potbelly. I want to grow a jet-black, greasy, unkempt pube beard and ridiculously long black oily hair. Meh… Depends on what you mean.

Could they take on Pakistan in a minor border conflict? Sure. China? No chance.

They have a lot of people in uniform, but their officers are like their bureaucrats in general. Incompetent and in it for the bribes and gibs.

They have hodgepodge of equipment, so major headache to service. Some of it really good, like the (Sorta Russian) Brahmos hypersonic missiles. Most of their domestic military hardware is trash though. They complement it with American and European hardware, but this is usually trash since the Jeets just pick whatever manufacturer who bribed them the most or was willing to produce it in India, rather than what is best suited.

They have a bunch of decent Russian hardware, though some of it is getting old. And hobbled by the fact that it all needs to be interoperable.

There is no evidence that deodorant is unhealthy or dangerous. It is simply an acid that scares away the bacteria that produce bad smells.
Sweat itself is not actually that smelly. It is the bacteria that consumes the sweat that is.

This may not be the case for Indians though.
