These fucking lazy niggers were aware of the DBSpic spam and did fuckall about it.

Man fuck them then because them allowing the DBSpic spam caused it to spread to the rest of the damn board and now /a/ is generals, porn, bait, or flavor of the month shit. I only go to /a/ now for chapter dumps and story times being the only normal threads left and those threads are even sad because they barely stay alive a lot of times now because no one leaves their generals.

I can only laugh, that lasted all of 0 seconds.

Speaking of which, has anyone been paying to 4chan IRC? It’s been online this entire time and I don’t think anyone’s bothered to check. Barely anyone even knows it exists even though it’s one of the only places you can actually talk to the mods. I’m kind of disappointed that no one here thought to check it as the site was going down.
The few times i checked it in the past the only thing going there was mods ERPing and smugly insult rare petitioners who tried to appeal their bans

seconding this i fucking hate everyone who browses /vg/ by far the worst board on 4chan. it is insane how much discord raids/troons/ and SEANIGGERS have ruined discussion for so many games
It was basically collective punishment and made /v/ even worse then it was in 2012 onwards when all continuous discussion was forced to go to /vg/ (see: all the good threads on /v/). SS13 thread in past year or so had to migrate to /vm/ due to how horrendous that board is.
And then /vr/ was made in 2013 because moot got fed up with how awful /v/ was at that point (despite not really pressing hard on banning tards). Now /vr/ has been garbage for years because shitposters looking for greener pastures, schizos, and corrupt jannies muck it up.

/vm/ still has good thread discussion atm, primarily because it has a very slow post rate. But even the rot is encroaching there as some threads are garnering their own resident schizoid who make up anywhere between 10-40% of the posts in the thread which effectively derails and ruins them.

I've been lurking in IRC for quite a while, here's the logs from when I remembered to turn them on up to now (Note: all times are UTC/GMT)

There’s a few shitposters who any good jannie would bring to a mod’s attention, but they're left to run rampant shitting up the board. And some of those generals have it bad.
hmofa sure as shit is one of the generals left to rot. There were daily melties over the most inane things and blatant spam. It was always the same one-two guys, too, as you could see all their posts get deleted during the rare times they went so retardedly ballistic even the absentee jannies were forced to take notice. I get that /trash/ is /trash/, but fuck the jannies for policing 6 different blacked threads while everything else wasn't even looked at.

jannies still delete the most benign shit mid discussion even if it's only slightly offtopic and leave up a bunch of total nonsense troll spam.
well of course - next to every post they have three buttons, sometimes 2. They can delete your post, they can force spoiler your image if you have one (or delete it too - i know that was a popular option for Is Coffee Good For You threads), and they can file a Ban Request (which they can downgrade to a Warn request). If they hit you with a BR/WR you get timed out for 15 minutes unable to post or until a moderator has processed the request.

On top of this, jannies get a free pass, they get a 0 post cooldown (which 4chanX will fight against), and as you saw they get access to /j/.

/j/ was only ever used as a way to have longer discussions about things, most shit was just kept to the janiteam discord. They even got rid of their IRC at one point.

but honestly, and im a bit of a fag for saying this, but the jannies aren't all evil. Just a lot of the good ones either got fired or burnt out because the mods kept the bad ones around or promoted them to mods.

Don't know if anybody has done this yet but I've been collecting all of the files which have been dumped so far in the soyjak thread. Downloaded them, scanned them in a VM to make sure that 1. they're real and 2. there is no malware and reuploaded them all myself. No passwords on all of them.

Here is all of them in order of release:
A small piece of the source code (/usr/www/global/yotsuba/imgboard.php): https://files.catbox.moe/c873zn.php
Full list of all jannies/mods/admins (in username:email:role format): https://files.catbox.moe/vqkxwf.txt
Dump of the jannies private IRC channel that they all use to communicate on: https://files.catbox.moe/93d0r8.rar
Dump of the entire /j/ board (a board private only to board jannies): https://files.catbox.moe/czivhs.7z

Currently autodoxxing all of the emails in the second file, results will be in JSON and will list all breaches for each email. I'll upload it later but y'all can do whatever you want with it.

Best of luck o7
Alright, auto-phonebooked all of the emails in the leaked jannies/mods/admins list

Download here: https://files.catbox.moe/42w6h3.zip
File tree here: https://files.catbox.moe/f75ypv.txt (did this on a VPS in India, I am not a jeet)

All a bunch of JSON files named as username-email.json, I recommend using jq to parse through them all if you know what you are doing.

Cheers everyone.
