Over the past fucking month, 4chan was out three times
>That one time the Captchas failed and the site became graveyard
>The retarded April Fools event
>Today

Jannies and mods have bad karma.
Worth mentioning last year when more than half the posts on the entire site were deleted and no official explanation was given other than "hurr, mods being dumb"

While this wouldn’t normally be interesting, what is interesting that they claim that according to their “expert” that their weren’t actually emails with .edu and .gov leaked. The sharty is not a valid source stalker child :tomlinson:
The .gov emails probably weren't legit but I still 100% believe that there were jannies retarded enough to use their .edu email.

It is also worth mentioning last year when more than half the posts on the entire site were deleted and no official explanation was given other than "hurr, mods being dumb"

I genuinely didn't expect the backend to have not been updated at all. Changes on the frontend kept happening as we all saw with the 900 second cooldown. I am alone in liking that change as it kept some schizos at bay. But the server still using a 2016 version of OpenBSD is wild. If the site comes back I imagine that they will have to finally update things.
gookmoot is probably going to update the site with 2ch data most likely i have a feeling moot isn't going to give a shit as he's moved on with his life, unless gookmoot just decides to sell finally once he regains control of the site at some point and just be done with it, 4chan was declining but there wasn't anything like it and kf isn't exactly similar.

Last thing 4chan did was steal some schizos flag in the woods like 10 years ago. The sharty at least has George droyd and five nights at cobsons, 4chan is a bust for creating anything now.
Katawa Shoujo may have been baby's first VN but it's light-years ahead of whatever monstrosities were spawned from sharty.

There's something absurdly fucking cringy about seeing "certain individuals" on BSky and Twitter getting 4chan all wrong, talking about 4chan as if it has any relevance in 2025, thinking it's an "Inside job", or saying that /qa/ stands for "QAnon."

4chan is down and the sharty isnt even being raided in retaliation. Pathetic.
that's because none of the users have any loyalty to 4chan. They all hate what it's become but have been there too long to go anywhere else.

This is your reminder Pokémon and vtubers met the criteria for GR15 inclusion yet never were added thanks to magical “w-well, just because okay?” logic from the site staff.

Ah, /gif/. A one stop shop for BBC posting, tranny sex, and racism.

There's been a couple amateur game devs from /v/ that released decently successful games.
Project moon went from literal who korean devs number #88287228 to a big enough deal to cause meltdowns in worst korea thanks to retards on /v/ liking their games enough by shilling them every time they got an update (and also to spite the NIGGER of ABIB)
Also snoot game/wani and yasuke simulator were from /v/ if you want more "recent" examples

The only thing that was entertaining and funny on /gif/ was fligu, I feel that at least most fligufags were people mocking the abhorrently unfunny shit that was otherwise posted on real /ylyl/.
Fligu went from a funny way to mock the unfunny and stale /ylyl/ posts to being the unfunny and stale shit that retards posted in /ylyl/ threads. It was hilarious for a while seeing them hide their shit inside other webms but it essentially turned in to ritual posting shit that nobody even acknowledged after a certain point.

4chan had already been tested a couple times before today and no one paid attention. Worst thing is, I don't think they'll learn any lesson for this besides "Those darn shartys are meanies, we should moderate HARDER"
