This. I used to sometimes lurk /vg/'s /agdg/ (it's a general for indie game development) and it's been a complete nightmare recently.

Progress posts from actual devs would be completely ignored in favour of offtopic anime shitposts and schizoposts about seething rivers of period blood against successful indie games. And then it got worse, some russian pedophile started shitting it up with AI-generated 'p. At this point, there were almost no actual developers posting in the thread, and that's when i stopped looking at it completely.

Seeing an outlet of creativity going down the gutter like this is pretty sad honestly.
