I think a good example of why 4chan jannies are so hated is when Billy Mitchell won his lawsuit several weeks ago. The rules of /v/ lay out that it is a board discussing video games and video game culture. Well, Billy Mitchell is clearly a major figure in video game culture, and this was a topic that a lot of people wanted to discuss. Jannies were patrolling the board deleting anything that looked like a Billy Mitchell thread, including OPs that were just about the Donkey Kong arcade game.

Now if the board was like 25% threads about Billy Mitchell and his lawsuit, then yes, of course you've got to clean some of those up, but just one thread about this topic that clearly a lot of people wanted to discuss isn't going to hurt anything. Especially considering how many threads are just dedicated to masturbating to fanart of video game characters, which there are other boards for.

So you're telling me I can just start making 20-30 threads for the same topic on kiwifarms? And the jannies will sweep it all up for me? for free? and they might even merge threads just for me (which takes decades once they get to thousands of pages in length)?

As somebody who's spent time around absolutely batshit insane schizos on 4chan, yes, there are people who would do this kind of attack (and actually worse) for absolutely no reason. At least no reason discernible to sane people. Mass shooters and serial killers have posted on 4chan after all, and the ones that don't still end up venerated as saints on boards like /r9k/ or /pol/.

Now, that is not to say the mods and jannies are not niggerlicious faggots of the highest degree, let it not be said I defend the jannies and mods from righteous comeuppance, but the fact that this happened due to an understandable grudge with the moderators, and not due to one of 4chan's many, many schizophrenic retards going pitbull and mauling their handlers, is a matter of chance only.
