Well who the fuck is going to give an email to them, especially one of the unsafe ones they require, after they just got all of their data hacked recently? Are they fucking retarded? 4chan will struggle to make 2026 at this rate.I've been getting similar issues. It's acting like I'm range banned but says I can verify my email to get around it. Unfortunately the oddities don't end there.
When I go to verify, it makes me solve an image captcha. Thing is, after about 5 seconds it grays out the "Verify" button next to the email field and this message pops up:

Despite my browser settings having always been kept kosher for 4chan in the past, it insists that I need to change my cookie/script settings (which I'm not going to change, fuck you). Funny thing is, if I solve the captcha fast enough I can click the "Verify" button before that pop-up shows up and can get a verification email to generate, only when I finally click the verification link and solve the text captcha, it says the verification link is invalid or expired.

If this is how the site's going to function from now on, so be it, I think it's time I finally stop visiting this cesspit after nearly 20 years.
hard to keep a music board alive when the monoculture "music industry" from as little as 15 years ago is no more, in the very way /mu/ used it. hence all the discussion of old albums. One thing I can say for certain is that certain boards couldn't be deader. /pol/, /tv/, /v/ and /co/ are quite active but /mu/ is a ghost town. Even 5 years ago, the board had what feels like three times as much activity. These days, the same posters make the same threads ad infinitum and nobody discusses anything of note outside genre threads, and even those are flooded with rank shitposts. It seems imageboards are a dying breed.
Not even discord, reddit and twitch are as bad as modern 4chan. Modern 4chan is so bad you'll get banned for legit on topic content because the shills will report you for making their marketing look bad. Talk about fucking dead internet theory. 4chan is the most obvious case of it. Clearly post gaza too, so it's obvious why that's happened.Looks like you caught a janny in the middle of xir dilation session. I tried to experiment if I could get banned in the same way, so I posted some schizo's doxx info and I didn't get banned.
You're not getting an explanation because it's probably fake. How do you even get a ban like this? What did you do?
I don't understand why indians try to be a reputation management service for other indians at this point. Surely they have to realize it's futilealTHOUGH he will always be a NARUTOMOD NIGGER and never ever fix the site.

He's never beating the indian nigger allegations.
"TBH this criticism of my reputation management business has tarnished both the reputation of myself, my family and my caste to the point that my only remaining choice is to kill you and then myself to salvage any remaining honor" - some indian guy probablyI don't understand why indians try to be a reputation management service for other indians at this point. Surely they have to realize it's futile
Its for their izzat.I don't understand why indians try to be a reputation management service for other indians at this point. Surely they have to realize it's futile
Was browsing /g/ and saw some anons discussing this pseudo-range-ban issue. The tl;dr one anon provided was that it's caused by some "threat detection score" the site uses to gauge whether posters are likely to be bots/spammers/other potential threats, which is apparently working overtime at the moment and seems to be causing issues primarily for Firefox users. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a ploy to simply pressure more people into buying passes.I've been getting similar issues. "Gee, our website is pretty dead since all the good posters left decades ago and we're still bleeding users to this day, especially after the recent hack. How do we try to retain what little users we have left?"Was browsing /g/ and saw some anons discussing this pseudo-range-ban issue. The answer here is to hire jeets and troons as jannies!"Gee, our website is pretty dead since all the good posters left decades ago and we're still bleeding users to this day, especially after the recent hack. How do we try to retain what little users we have left?"
"I know, we will make sure posting is as much of a pain in the ass as possible, or sometimes literally impossible! That should keep the engagement numbers nice and happy!"
I have been using owo.vg so far. It's not perfect but at least it works. You can use residential proxies like MysteriumDark or Tuxler, but probably a % of them will be banned - there is a bestiality pedo who slurps up residential proxies and spams 4chan with them on an industrial scale
That would explain why I was finally able to make 1 post the other day and then get stuck with the "IP ban" shortly after.https://desuarchive.org/g/thread/107279915#107303878
>Also your threat score is lower as long as you consistently post every 15 minutes, so if you have a dynamic IP you may be able to post fine for a while then get that message for no reason.
The likely excuse is "N-No new tech is perfect!", but I wouldn't be surprised if at this point the tranny jannies are also mainly doing all this shit to curate a hugbox for themselves, pushing the good/sane posters away while creating a pseudo-Kiwifarms, in that it's a lolcow den full of the stanchest of autists and lolcows, along with the bots, creating all the content for the tranny jannies and all the low IQ to participate in, since the site's been forever irony-poised."Gee, our website is pretty dead since all the good posters left decades ago and we're still bleeding users to this day, especially after the recent hack. How do we try to retain what little users we have left?"

Said something negative about a mod, a mod's special interest, or negative about black cock, Israel, India, or transgenders. How do you even get a ban like this? What did you do?
