A Comcast Employee Has Been Fucking with DSP's Internet for Months [November 28, 2023] - Oh it's true.. It's DAMN true!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
This is the weirdest dumbest shit I've seen.

To believe DSP, we have to ignore the fact that Comcast would have all the logs and be able to solve the problem in 1-2 business days because liability is not a thing corpos fuck around with. If we grant that Comcast is that retarded, our detractor savior would be the laziest fuck with the most amount of power ever seen in the vortex. This detractor could, by all accounts, have completely shut DSP down for a month and a half but only chose to do so at the most innocuous times possible. Not his "guys I'm sick!" stream, not his Black Friday begathon, just a random day when dude is playing CoD and raking in the Jeff bucks.

If DSP is lying about everything, this is the most effort DSP has put into anything in his entire life which makes that concept suspect on it's face. Same problem here, if he was going to pull this bullshit any time he'd have been better served by pulling this on his sad boy Thanksgiving stream not a random CoD low tip stream.

The most believable thing of this is DSP needs help, just probably not the kind he's begging his ass off for. Fucking retarded shit to its' core either way.

Yeah, but I don't see the endgame for this. A small temp cash boost? I don't think it's worthwhile to come up with level of bullshit for that.
Phil has had weeks (if not months) of low donations.

He now has a stream with 900+ watching him and 1000's on restreamers.

This is the end game... It's another and new thing where he can be the victim again.

Maybe this is Dave's cover for dropping gaming all together. He'll start streaming exclusively from his phone as a talk show like Ethan Ralph. He'll basically be the most boring IRL streamer since he never leaves his streaming room.
He's definetely mentioned it before and afterwards he does the "See, you guys came out in droves to support even though there was no gameplay! It's like I've always said, my true fans will support no matter what I'm doing. You guys love my content even if I were shooting turds into a toilet. Nuhuhuh. Is that not correct?" *T pose*

This would ironically be the most effort he's put into his job in several years. Maybe ever. Why don't we throw in another variable and have one of his loyal dents like Ryan helping to orchestrate this whole thing for Phil? It sounds retarded, I know, but given that the results have given Phil that money, anything seems possible.

It just fucking dawned on me, remember when this first happened a month ago? Remember when he started listing off things that fucked him over and caused him to not get ahead this year on his prestream mental breakdowns? Remember one of the things he said?

"AND THEN A TROLL FUCKS WITH YOUR INTERNET!"

He got called out on it and back then he said he was exaggerating. Holy shit, he may have started setting this shit up back then, he probably needed his flying monkeys to make it seem believable first which is why it took him a month.

hi i am a vistor to the forums first off big ups got reciepts for this whole thing didn't do it for attention just wanted to fuck with phil

Ok so have the stream on in the background. Dave is apparently using a comcast 4G modem to stay connected to his stream chat. If the comcast tractor can knock out his main modem how come he apparently can't take down his other modem? Sure they connect in different ways but comcast tractor is supposed to be able to mess with his account directly.

His stream account has been obviously botted the last few days with massive jumps in viewers. His likes/dislikes are around the same as usual, a little higher today due to the stupidiTy.

Yeah, but he's always saying a troll is causing his problems. Back then it was ddos and now its a rogue employee, before that it was tevin.
It's trolls all the way down.

Because part of his story is that the tech was able to pull up Comcast logs showing a tech accessing his router and blocking websites.
From what Phil told us it just showed "Employee login" in the modem. That could mean anything. Do you know about comcast modems? I sure don't... Maybe it just says employee if you use some special account that's easily accessed for login? Maybe it just has default password. Also, don't forget DSP lies all the time.

I doubt he'll ever drop games. His ego needs them far more than his wallet does, he needs an easy way to excuse low "support" without taking any blame for it.

So Phil read a review on Starlink from PC Mag... And all his (non-money related) complaints are from their 2022 review.

here is their updated review.

isn't starlink like super good in the PNW? that was where they did all of their alpha and beta service coverage. phil's lack of awareness in anything that's going on outside of his office is infuriating.

"satellite internet won't the clouds like make my 1000bit high quahhlity streams look like twitch?!". yeah phil it's a 1998 satellite service, good one buddy.

Just speculating but there could be several explanations with a tethered cellular hotspot connection. His carrier might not allow inbound connections across the range his wired connection does, it could be mobile IPv6 shit that always causes headaches when trying to access from legacy wired connections, the hotspot could be double-NAT'ed which will prevent many remote access methods (the original round Starlink beta kits had this problem and I'm told the residential plans sold today still do). That's just off the top of my head. I'm surprised by all the negative votes I've gotten today but everything DSP described is plausible (except maybe the employee login logs).
