Albert (Burt) Appouh, commonly known as Burt Obeng or Daddy Burt, is a season 3 cast member of Sam Hyde's reality web series, Fishtank Live. He's an autistic, schizophrenic 35-year-old gay sex worker from Union Township, New Jersey. On Fishtank, Burt gained a large fandom that found pleasure in his seemingly schizophrenic antics such as long monologues orated away from other contestants. Burt also masturbated on Fishtank, which Burt refers to as "burting off" and, overall, was not afraid to express his sexuality, even while being live-streamed 24/7. PRE-FISHTANK
On his Backstage profile (Archive), he lists himself as a "Volunteer Firefighter with Military Training in Progress" and a bi, black, bald athlete, bodybuilder, heavyweight boxer, and trainer. He claims to have an IQ of 160 and he is recognized by MENSA, Intertel, and the Triple Nine Society. Per his Backstage account, he used to have an Instagram account called @Bi_Black_Bull but it no longer exists. His Instagram as of November 2024 is @blackdomtop, which shared its first post on September 13th, 2024.
Burt Obeng began publicizing himself on social media en masse in late 2023. For instance, he began posting photos to Facebook (Archive) on October 4th, 2023, and his Twitter (Archive) was created in December 2023. To detail Burt's life, I would have to show you a lot of gay porn which I'm not willing to download and put in this thread, and I know most of you don't want to watch it. Just know it exists, and for the most part, Burt was fucking men in the ass and doing shitty acting gigs.

FISHTANK ERA
On October 27th, 2024, Fishtank Clip Channel, ReactSimply shared a clip of Burt's confessional on the first day. In it, he joked that his name Burt was an acronym for "Black Urban Ripped Trainer." Among other things, he said he joined the show to get his name out, build connections, and get more followers.
BURTING OFF
On Day 1, around 5:30 PM Fishtank Time, Burt engaged in the first instance of what came to be known as "burting off", stroking his 6-inch BBC penis in bed when the others weren't around. On Day 2, Burt accuses Alex B of being a plant by production. To give context, Binx and Alex B knew about the word "Fishtank" because Fishtank's lawyer fucked up the email and ended up sending the contract using the admin@fishtank.live email rather than the fake one. This caused a lot of speculation in the Fishtank community because nobody was sure if they both actually knew the show or not.
If it isn't obvious already from the previous images, Burt has no shame about his fantasies, desires, and sexual history if questioned about it. He often develops a strong sexual attraction to other fish and freeloaders (or anyone who gives Burt any bit of positive attention), including Ted, Alex B, Frank Hassle, Payton, and Brandon (which we will get into), and turns his lust to someone else in the tank once he is rejected. On Halloween Night, The Fish had a dance party where they had to dance for as long as they possibly could. Burt only danced for about 20 minutes before gassing out. Burt had won a free trip to Las Vegas and could bring an extra friend. Of course, Burt picks Ted but gets rejected by Ted because he's not gay.
Later on, Burt confronts Ted about his constant flirting and apologizes to Ted about it.
On Day 6, Burt interacts with the computer by itself. Nobody knows about TTS at this point but Burt, feeding into the skitzo even more.

On Day 6, Burt is fine. Burt sktizos around for 18 minutes. On the same day, we see Burt's cock and balls.
Burt figures out that there's something we know, that they don't. The skitzo figured out the gameshow before any of the other contestants did.

At this point, the other Fish are worried about Burt's mental health and think he is going to hurt someone. This leads to Ted wanting to schedule an intervention for Burt.
At some point in the day, Burt goes to confession to talk about the observations he's made while being in the Tank. People have called him paranoid or skitzo, but Burt doesn't believe that.
In the middle of the night on Day 8, Burt requests for production and speaks with them for about 45 minutes. He likely needed to be calmed down due to overthinking about Fishtank.
At this point, Ted got eliminated because he knew about Fishtank prior to joining the show because he called "Computer" TTS. As explained before, Burt had a massive crush on Ted (and Alex) and was heartbroken when he left.
On Day 9, Burt wakes up and gets filled in by Alex on the happenings of Day 9.

THE CELL
The Cell is a reoccurring challenge in Fishtank where production will section off one room, put all the fish in it, and see how long they can last while doing various challenges. This is a test of willpower and strength because if they leave before anyone else, they are disqualified from winning "The Cell" prize. This is usually done as an excuse by production to fuck with the Fish's shit without them knowing who did it.

The Finale:
On Day 16, Burt doesn't like the fact that he lost "The Cell" challenge. He goes into the confessional to speak with Binx about the entire experience.
On Day 17, it's Burt's birthday today! However, Simbal is not happy about this because some of his clothes missing and then throws glass and chairs all over the kitchen and makes the women clean them up. Burt's happy birthday TTS immediately turned into Simbal hate mail and made Burt upset even more.
Also, on the same day, Burt is burting off in the penthouse in which Ben goes into Burt's room, to say happy birthday. It completely interrupts Burt mid-stroke, but after Ben leaves, Burt returns to "burting off" before finishing.
After everything was said and done, Burt revealed that Mizzy actually ruined his birthday party and not Symbol being a drama queen. The reason why Mizzy ruined Burt's party is because Binx (roleplaying as Mizzy as apart of a separate challenge where the Fish had to LARP as one another) stole Burt's Pepsi and believed the REAL Mizzy stole it. To give even more context, Burt really enjoys Pepsi, popcorn, pretzels, and pussy.
On Day 18, Mizzy tries to convince Burt that "Computer" is lying about her and none of the shit that "Computer" says is real. Burt obviously doesn't believe this and continues to skitzo out.
One of Burt's many theories about Fishtank is that it's actually an undercover cop show (similar to Chris Hansen's "To Catch a Predator"). Burt feels like production is targeting him because of this as again... if you couldn't tell, Burt is a massive sex pest who will fuck anything that gives him a sliver of attention. Production, of course, plays into this skitzo theory.
Later in the day, Burt explains his skitzo-theories to Jean, a freeloader (an outside contestant who cannot win the prize but can win money by doing challenges) and like many normal people would react... calls him paranoid.
On Day 19, Burt and Alex made an alliance together called "Brothers for Life". This is the origin of Burt calling Alex "my sweet baby bro"., despite Alex being older. Burt swears that he loves Alex as a brother, but it's clear Burt wants to have sex with him. This alliance didn't go really anywhere due to Wild Randy/Alex's wife and stepdaughter being brought onto the show and completely derailing it on Day 21.
On the same day, the Prison challenge happened. Burt was originally made to be a Warden to overlook the "prisoners" from the Mail Room. Burt made Prisoner #3 uncomfortable (because Burt wanted to fuck him) and Burt made various sexual dances towards him. Eventually, Burt paid 20 Fishbucks ($2,000 in Freedom Dollars) to become a prisoner to live out his fantasy. If it hasn't been mentioned before, one of Burt's things is that he wants to roleplay as a Dexter-type character (someone who's a good guy, but ends up being a serial killer bad guy rapist). The challenge wasn't particularly entertaining because of poor direction.
DARK BURT
On Day 20, DARK BURT has been activated by "Computer" after realizing the truth about the Fish. This is the first character development that Burt has gone through and what autists would call a "mask-off" moment. This began the hatred of Mizzy. DARK BURT wants to get Mizzy out of Fishtank, he wants to know how to be rude and mean.
During a game of Hide and Seek, Burt (as the seeker) runs into the glass door. Sam asks Burt if he's alright to which Burt is fine.
Of course, Burt has his new persona destroy the house and the Fish react to it.
On Day 22, Dark Burt and Frank Hassle have teamed up together to fuck with the Fish. At this point, Frank tricked Burt into thinking he was attracted to him, and was one of the only fish to reciporcate affection. Burt is in love with Frank despite Frank looking like a fat homeless retard and will do anything Frank says.
On Day 23, Burt gets taken outside of the Famous House to go see Schitty (Fishtank Season 2.5 set) and meet Xavier Ravenblood.
It spawned this infamous clip where Burt asks Xavier if he wants to Burt off together after Xavier says "he's been masturbating his penis... to anime".
Burt returns from Schitty and misses where Payton beat the shit out of Frank.
Frank eventually reveals by the end of the night that he was never actually into Burt and that it was all to manipulate him.
On Day 24, Burt forgives Frank for being manipulated. FURT TOGETHER.
On Day 25, The Fish gets a polygraph test. This is the first official reveal that Burt's muscles are all implants. This is all while wearing a dress and one of Binx's cosplay wigs.
