TGWTG Allison Pregler / Obscurus Lupa / Movie Nights - The vindictive leader of #ChangeTheChannel, GOTIS personified, vendetta against The Cinema Snob

I can see that, she should've stuck to the quirk chungus personality she had back when she first started doing reviews. Wasn't really funny then but was more watchable at least and would probably have kept her with a consistent but small audience. And by small I mean 30 to 50k views a video and not her 6 to 10k she's currently got.

I guess she should have stuck with the website that brought into way more views than she currently gets, instead of throwing a fit and pulling out.

YouTube definitely isn't working for her.

Ellis is having some success as an author
Her only success as an author was in getting a contract that didn't let her publisher to drop her after her first book flopped right into bargain bin. One of the managers at her publisher gave an interview where he said giving book contracts to social media personalities was a massive mistake around the time her second book flopped. She's less successful as an author than Chuck Wendig or Patrick Tomlinson.

And apparently one of her big goals was to get signed by a major publisher.

Gotta wonder what’s next.

Someone needs to tell them it’s over. Preferably with one of those Looney Tunes cane-hooks, I want Allison yanked off stage so violently you hear, "Hi, I’m Steve-O,” right before her pelvis exits the premises at Mach 3.

In the end, YouTube was never going to be the vehicle any of them hoped it would be. All those AVGN-style movies, with their shit jokes and gremlin actors, were never popular outside of their forums.

Maybe Yahtzee is a good writer, but then, he was doing this stuff as text before drifting to YouTube.

This picture is just depressing to see. Nice of Lupa to show us a preview of her life in her 40's as a cat lady making videos with less fanfare along with her equally charisma-lacking man-child of a husband whose only pussy he can handle is that cat that's on his wife's lap.

Didn't her friend, Elisa publish some vampire books? I wonder if she was more successful than Lindsay.
