These people are streaming a QVC style show, and get paid when you buy stuff. I think they get higher scores when you chat. Most of them are getting paid a couple bucks an hour worth to sell $17 worth of merchanidise, so they're chatty while being bored.

I find the whole thing incredibly bleak.

Ha! I already have a parasocial relationship with Amazon because I fucking hate it (except The Expanse, that was pretty cool.)

I used to date a guy who worked for them, and he had nothing but horror stories.

I find it hard to hate them when they're the only delivery service that doesn't curb stomp my packages. I don't what the fuck is up with the non Amazon drivers in my area, but they literally destroy more than half of the packages I get.

I don't know what cruel shit they do to the Amazon drivers, but it fucking works so have at it.

they can block you but there arent really content moderation tools. idk it kinda feels like going to a walmart and screeching autistically at some poor wagie tho

Amazon delivery is lit compared to others. I mean ups...they are hit and miss... but Amazon drivers actually call you instead of lounging your package into pile of snow...although one time one driver did drop off the package on the driveway....
