Invincible would have been a really good 3 or 4 season show if there had been a competent editor combing through everything of substance and slicing out all of the time wasting bullshit.

It would've also been a half decent comic show had they followed the actual plot of the comic instead of doing dumb bullshit like race swapping Amber and making her an insufferable cunt.

Mark himself is race swapped. It was always going to be a modern liberal fag show for reddit posters. If the comics had come out this year you'd have endless nigger and faggot characters and storylines as well. This is why modern liberals shake and tremble when reading media that is literally two or three years old because it will have problematic language, characters, or stories.

Nothing is ever liberal enough for them. In another decade they will be looking to reboot half of the current shows for being 'problematic'. In another decade or two most of the Invincible comics and episodes will have some type of problematic language or exclusionary aspects that will need to be corrected in future adaptations.

The latest episode was pretty good. I'm surprised that we're already up to Conquest's arrival. And seeing Tech Jacket was fucking awesome. I hope we get a spin-off episode of him like we did with Amber.

There also seem to be avlot cooler/stronger heroes than the current guardians of the Earth.

Hopefully soon.

Guys, I'm still waiting for him to drop the training weights. I expected it to happen to save Eve, but didn't. I'm starting to think the training montage was actual dogshit.

The power scaling in this makes no fucking sense. How can an electricity nerd overpower and even kill someone slightly weaker than Mark? It's giving me flashbacks to the chicago bulls documentary where they'd go "HOLY SHIT IT WAS A LANDSLIDE VICTORY!" and it was like 105-122. Do all heroes just sort of wiggle in the same 30% power bracket?

every now and then I remember there's actual pedophiles hanging out here, presumably to find out which of their fellows are getting doxxed and how, so as to avoid it themselves
not accusing you of being a pedophile, just implying it since you seem to be upset over a basic "leftist positions are dumb" post

anyway good luck with your cartoon, hope you enjoy the episodes where the white women get raped by space niggers

Personally, I think it would've been really fucking funny if they blindly raceswapped the Immortal and then the show had to rationalize Black Abraham Lincoln.

That actually makes me wonder, if there ARE heroes who are capable of beating weaker versions of mark, how the fuck did the current guardians' sorry asses make the cut for replacing the original ones? I'm still trying to get how Shrinking Rae and Dupli Kate made it on the team.

As a matter of fact, what the fuck is Sinclair doing to make the reanimen so strong if he's just attaching a bunch of robot parts to dead bodies? Just cut out the middleman and make them full on robots, there's no way the rotting corpses of regular-ass humans contribute to their strength.

Caught up on this slop with some friends, the gay intro was funny because that was clearly some retard’s swan song. All in all, better than S2 but that’s not saying much.

The ricecel’s “tough guy” voice is hilarious, asians will never be intimidating. So weird they have budget issues and insist on getting celebrity VAs.

Holy shit, they really did put all the animation budget into this episode, and this fight was absolutely raw as hell. Like this probably has to be the best fight in this show. Since the choreography is actually amazing and gave Atom Eve more to use with her abilities creatively

Would say Conquest's voice is pretty good now that there is more to hear.

Overall, this season is definitely an improvement over season 2 and may be on par or better than Season 1.

Though what the heck is Kirkman cooking with Darkblood in that post-credits scene

Yeah, I don't know if it's better than Season 1 but I wouldn't disagree if someone wanted to put it there. I was surprised that Conquest didn't actually die.

The main thing holding Season 1 back is that it definitely had the worst romance subplot of the three seasons and Amber generally was annoying in the worst way possible.

Darkblood matters little to nothing in the comics. The panel below is the perfect sum-up.

Now, onto the episode I go. Had a friend discussing it earlier this morning, she was freakin' out.

Yeah

I assume the show is either doing a show-exclusive storyline but based on what I read on Twitter, people are speculating it probably could be connecting Hell to a character in the comics, but I have no idea.

So, technically speaking, in the Invincible War issue, Spawn was one of the characters that appeared alongside Mark to fight against the others.

Just finished the episode. As predicted, the entire season budget went into this fight. And now my mind jumps to the future fights. Hopefully this show gets more budget and better management.

it's cute they acted like eve could do some shit
Technically, she is the superhero with the most versatile, and without her mental blocks, useful powers in the whole series. But all of this matter manipulation on the levels of Dr. Manhattan is balanced by the fact that she's just a human and a literal glass cannon.
