A Special Election Message From Andrew Torba

NOVEMBER 5, 2022
Every election season people say “this is the most important election in our lifetimes.”
This time, I believe they are correct.
The lives of millions of unborn children are at stake in this election. Democrats are threatening to codify Roe into Federal law if they get power, while Republican states are promising to enforce existing laws on the books or pass new ones to stop the satanic murder of babies in this country. Our economy is in shambles. Our cities are war zones. Our border is being invaded to the tune of millions of people including criminals, drug dealers, and worse. Our elected officials are sending billions and billions of dollars of our money to a foreign country for a war that has nothing to do with you or me. This country is a mess.
If you are a Christian the choice is clear: vote Republican. If you call yourself a Christian and are voting Democrat you need to be under church discipline for voting to empower evil. If your Pastor or Priest is encouraging you to vote for “pro-choice” Democrats you need to find a new church. That’s how serious this issue is. God is very clear in His Word: Thou Shalt Not Kill.

As many of you know I have endorsed many candidates this election cycle, but the one race that really matters to me on a deeply personal level is the race for Governor in PA. Pennsylvania is my home. I grew up here. My family is here. I am raising my children here. I am building Gab here.

I watched over the past decade as Democrat policies have destroyed our amazing cities like Philadelphia and my own hometown area of Scranton. I watched as Josh Shapiro, the Democrat candidate for Governor and current Attorney General of PA, tweeted days before the the 2020 election that “If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose. That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process.” I watched the fraud and rigging that unfolded after his brazen display of “chutzpah.”
I watched this entire election cycle as the mainstream media praised Josh Shapiro for embracing his Jewish faith on the campaign trail, while labeling his opponent Doug Mastriano an “extremist” for embracing his Christian faith. Are you paying attention yet, Christian? When a Jew embraces their faith on the campaign trail it is “stunning and brave.” When a Christian does it, it’s “dangerous and extreme.” I’ll also note that the “journalists” writing these articles also happen to be Jewish, but I digress.
The PA Gubernatorial race is the single most important race of the midterms. I’m not exaggerating. Doug Mastriano was one of the only elected officials in the PA state legislature to fight back against the 2020 election fraud in PA, and he was one of the only elected officials in the country to fight back against the lockdowns, the masks, the vax mandates, and so much more.
In short: he is /our guy./
He’s the Christian warrior we need in leadership and will be a great example for the rise of other Christian candidates across the country. I’m proud to personally endorse him as a PA voter myself. This election is the first step to taking back this country for the glory of God. We need to win. I’m asking you to please vote for Republicans in your state and pray specifically for Doug’s victory here in PA.
Gab’s 2022 Election Policies

Finally I’d like to address Gab’s election policies as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others gear up to censor any and all conversations exposing voter fraud. Gab’s election policy is simple: the First Amendment. We are not going to police discussions about the election before, during, or after the vote. We will not be “fact-checking” content. You are free to speak freely on Gab and see what others are saying as well without interference from Gab as a platform. No other social network can say this. For that reason alone Gab is the place to be on election night and beyond.

Andrew Torba has midterm thoughts.

The Path Forward: Build and Balkanize

In light of the clown show that was the election on Tuesday I wanted to share some of my thoughts on what I see as the path forward from here. I made a post on Gab yesterday that got tens of thousands of engagements both on and off Gab. I think it’s important to analyze why this post resonated so widely and where we go from here.

I see everyone on the right fighting about Trump vs DeSantis for 2024 and I just laugh to myself. The presidency in 2024 is a pipe dream, with DeSantis or Trump on the ticket. To be frank I don’t know if we’ll ever see a Republican president again. Millions and millions of illegals pouring over our border and being distributed to key swing states. An electorate trained to believe that hundreds of thousands of mail in ballots appearing is normal. Demographics is destiny. He who controls the machines controls the outcome. We didn’t fix 2020 and we didn’t build the wall so don’t expect another “free and fair” election.

ne thing I noticed in the thousands of replies of this post is the unity across the generations. If you know anything about the Gab community, or perhaps from your own experience with the people in your own life, it’s that Boomers and Zoomers rarely agree on anything especially when it comes to political strategy.

On this subject though there seems to be a mass consensus across every generation from young to old: between election fraud, citizen disenfranchisement via decades of illegal aliens invading our country, and the Regime’s total control over the flow of information and censorship of any dissent: Republicans have zero chance of winning the Presidency in 2024.

Millions of people are waking up to the reality that a small percentage of the population controls 98% of the flow of information and news to the people. This is incredibly important. No other political issue matters more. He who controls the media controls the minds of the masses. It’s that simple.

Gab community member @PaxChristus made a post that demonstrates this reality well.

In Russia, where gay propaganda is banned, 70% of people oppose gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.
In America, where opposition to LGBT is heavily censored, 70% of people support gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.
Democracy is purely about information control.
As the top commenter on this post pointed out, German conservative revolutionaries like Oswald Spengler realized this in the early 1900’s.

Democracy has become a weapon of moneyed interests. It uses the media to create the illusion that there is consent from the governed. The press today is an army with carefully organized weapons, the journalists its officers, the readers its soldiers. The reader neither knows nor is supposed to know the purposes for which he is used and the role he is to play. The notion of democracy is often no different than living under a plutocracy or government by wealthy elites. -Oswald Spengler

Democracy also appears to be when the Godless unmarried whores of Babylon select your leaders so they can continue to slaughter their children. 66% of Democratic voters answered “never ” when asked how often they attend religious services. 68% of unmarried women voted Democrat in this election and broke Democrat by a whopping 37 points. Voters in Montana of all places voted “No” on Referendum 131 which asked voters if medical care should be provided to infants who are born alive, including after an attempted abortion.
The fact that there is even a “debate” about why murdering babies and castrating/sexualizing children is morally, legally, and philosophically wrong is all you need to know about the state of this country. We deserve God’s righteous wrath and we are getting it.
People like Fetterman “winning” is just another Regime humiliation ritual on the American people. They have that much control over our country that they can have Biden installed in the Presidency and Fetterman—who has literal brain damage—installed in the US Senate.
We have to remember that the people in power are rootless cosmopolitan globalist elites. They don’t see themselves as Americans. They see themselves as “global citizens.” They have no pride in our country. They hate it, they hate us, and they want to humiliate Americans while extracting as much of our resources, labor, and military power as possible.

The Path Forward: Balkanize and Build

Voting harder isn’t going to cut it. We have to build. The existing system will collapse. It’s not a matter of if, but when. When that happens we need to have Christian infrastructure in place to fill the power vacuum. The Amish have had it right this entire time. Their communities are growing and thriving. They will continue to do well. We must become a form of neoamish, building sovereign communities and families away from Babylon. Technology is okay and a good tool. It’s something we can use to our advantage to communicate, build, and engage in commerce with one another.
We are the new pilgrims. We must move to deep red states, push them further right, build, and secure a future for our families. Forget politics at the national level. That rigged game is over. Focus on state and local elections, not what is going on in DC.
Conservatism has failed. It has been trying to conserve a country and a culture that is never coming back and has long been gone. The future of the West depends on those of us who are going to build. Build our own infrastructure, our own families, our own communities, our own parallel economy, and our own strongholds of deep red states. We’ll build a wall around the borders of those states if that’s what it comes to. We need to accept exile from Babylon and get to work.
Imagine if you took all the energy you wasted focusing on the midterm election circus for the last six months and started a business, learned a new skill, built something with your hands, or grew a ton of food in a garden. Shift your focus and energy to building wealth, sovereignty, and security for your family. Many people on Gab did this and are doing this right now.
As someone who has been building for six years now, I’m not going to tell you this is easy. I myself got caught up in the midterms despite knowing that the deck was stacked against us. I won’t make that same mistake again.
Thousands of families are starting and growing businesses in the Parallel Economy on Gab. You can view many of them here. I encourage you to support them and I encourage you to support us on our journey to build a parallel economy and the free speech infrastructure to support and maintain it. You can do so by upgrading to GabPRO, buying merchandise from our shop, or running ads on Gab to grow your business.
Finally I want to remind you not to despair. Jesus Christ is on the throne. We are His people, the actual Chosen People–of every race, nation, and creed. We have and will continue to overcome the challenges of history in the face of evil and his Kingdom will continue to advance as we disciple all nations.

Dangers of Democracy

OCTOBER 19, 2022
by ThinkingWest
The word “democracy” appears exactly zero times in the United States Constitution. And yet, no form of government is celebrated with the same fervency as democracy. Recently, the phrase “Our Democracy” has been co-opted by nearly every politician as an attempt to appeal to the populace’s supposedly unshakeable faith in the voting process. Appeals to the fragility of “Our Democracy” are commonly made by political figures hoping to discredit rivals; rivals they unhesitatingly accuse of threatening that ancient Athenian inheritance. A keen extraterrestrial might conclude that many of the developed nations of the world embrace democracy as religion.
But is this unquestioning reverence for a form of political governance healthy, reasonable, desirable? Does such reverence blind us to the shortcomings that democracy may possess relative to other political arrangements and lure us into complacent, even dangerous, self-satisfaction?
Let’s review a few of the major issues that beset democracies. The aim is not to condemn democracy as a form of governance, but to critique it such that we may be better informed of its imperfections. After all, politics of any form must involve human beings and human beings, despite their best intentions, are far from perfect.

1.) Democracy is only as Noble and Reasonable as its Voting Citizens
The first critique of democracy concerns the responsibility that citizens have to exhibit character in daily life and to stay well informed about the issues for which they vote. It does not matter how passionately a citizen may feel about a particular issue; if that passion is not tempered by objective investigation and the application of reason to the issue at hand, the voter abdicates a central responsibility as a citizen. No degree of passion is a substitute for clear-headed thinking. Understanding well the tendency that democratic citizens have towards this failure, Winston Churchill once quipped, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.” Unfortunately, many citizens of modern democracies fall prey to emotional pleas and assume that heartfelt emotion is sufficient to guide ones voting decisions. The media, with that oh-so-dangerous self-satisfaction, appeals to the smug assuredness of over-confident voters through emotionally manipulative means. The voters are constantly reassured that their viewpoint is the only reasonable one.
Democracy has yet to find a solution to the Dunning-Kruger effect, the phenomenon where the less a person knows about an issue, the more confident a person is in their knowledge about the issue. A 2018 study by Ian G Anson published in the journal Political Psychology investigated how the Dunning-Kruger effect affects citizens’ perceptions of their political knowledge. Anson examined over two thousand American adults via two online surveys which quizzed the participants on basic political knowledge. Most participants of the study performed poorly and those who performed poorest were more likely to be confident in their knowledge of politics than those that performed well 1.
The Dunning-Kruger effect, combined with patronizing and pandering from politicians and the press, results in a poorly informed, but highly opinionated public. A hyper-emotional public is incapable of cool-headed, rational debate and is, instead, prone to political provocation and manipulation by media and power-hungry politicians.
A successful democracy requires citizens to continuously revisit and revise their understanding of core issues in a level-headed manner. Such revision is best embarked upon with temperance and reason.

2.) Democracy Makes Neighbors Political Adversaries and Makes All Issues Political

A less considered shortcoming is the tendency for democracies to create adversity between citizens who hold differing political opinions. In the United States, this adversity has become so intense between Republicans and Democrats that distrust between members of opposing parties extends far beyond just political issues. Nearly every issue brought to the public eye, whether science, sports, movies, or music becomes irreversibly burdened with political interpretation, intention, and influence. Ideas and concerns submitted by one side of the political aisle are a priori rejected and condemned by the other side before the slightest consideration of the idea’s merits. This effect may be particularly amplified in a democratic political system where there are only two major parties. Then, nearly every political issue inherits a kind of adversity that is more likely to be absent when the number of available choices exceeds two.

The recent COVID-19 pandemic emphasizes the need to be aware of the tendency people have to view apolitical issues through partisan lenses. As thoughtful citizens we should be cognizant of this tendency when evaluating actions to take to solve these issues. A June 2020 article from FiveThirtyEight detailed the divergence of experiences between Republicans and Democrats during that time2. Republicans generally exhibited less concern about the pandemic while Democrats exhibited greater concern about it. The intent of this article is not to determine which political party was correct or incorrect about the pandemic, but to demonstrate how partisan politics played a crucial role in shaping people’s viewpoints about a major issue. One would presume that the pandemic should never have been a political issue. Instead, the pandemic and its mitigation efforts should have been matters of public health and science.

Ideally, an open scientific investigation and discussion should have been facilitated to find the best solutions to counter the pandemic while maintaining the minimum possible obstruction of freedoms upon citizens. Instead, political parties championed separate causes and blamed the opposition for any and all Covid-19 deaths. This turned the opposing party into literal “murderers” while one’s own party used these deaths to lobby for votes.

This is not to say that there were no valid issues that were brought up during the political chaos. Examples of valid points of disagreement included masking policies, vaccination mandates, lockdowns, and experimental drug treatments. However, actual open scientific debate on these issues was rarely carried out.

The COVID-19 pandemic response is just one example of where the political divide contaminates problem-solving and leads to further distrust between those that share different political opinions. As the political divide in America (and across the West) widens, more and more aspects of society become political, from sports to music to education. Nearly every aspect of life now contains political undertones, which only divides us further and makes cordial political dialogue near impossible. The U.S.’s current circumstance stands as an example of the tendency for democracies to politicize everything and divide its citizenry.

3.) Democracies Incur Great Opportunity Costs

Another drawback of modern democracy is the immense opportunity cost incurred by political campaigns. Time, money, energy, and attention are all consumed by political parties vying to ensure that their candidate is elected. Dozens, hundreds, and sometimes even thousands of people are employed for hours, days, and weeks to assist with a campaign on behalf of a candidate. And consider the fact that in a two-party system, one of these parties’ efforts will effectively be for nothing if it loses. Not only are political campaigns expensive, but they are also getting increasingly MORE expensive. In 2016 the total cost for presidential and congressional races was $7 billion. By 2020 that number doubled to more than $14.4 billion3.

Let’s consider what alternative investments could be made with $14.4 billion. For $400,000 each, $14.4 billion could buy 36,000 homes. Researchers from 23 countries suggest that $14 billion is the additional expenditure needed each year to eradicate world hunger by 2030. The National Cancer Institute estimates that the average cost of first-year cancer treatment is $42,000 4. At this price tag, $14 billion is enough to purchase a year’s worth of cancer treatment for over 330,000 people. Clearly, the extraordinary sums of money spent on political campaigns could be used for a variety of beneficial endeavors. These endeavors could have lasting, meaningful effects on the lives of countless people.

In addition to the monetary cost of campaigning, political involvement incurs a devastating mental toll on losers of election races. Regarding the 2016 presidential election, analysis suggests that in states that voted for Hillary Clinton in November 2016, there were a total of 54.6 million more days of poor mental health than in October 2016 5. Poor mental health leads to lower quality of life and lower productivity. Though poor mental health isn’t exclusive to democracies, it is a heavy opportunity cause to risk the mental health of half the country each election cycle. This problem is particularly strong in winner-take-all elections as in presidential races.

Another significant cost in democracies is the time and energy the politicians spent on campaigning and fundraising for the next election cycle. Not only must politicians work to enact new legislation, but they must also devote considerable resources to ensuring they maintain popular public opinion and are prepared financially for their upcoming reelection campaign. This diverts time, energy, and attention from passing legislation to lobbying voters and campaign donors. According to Rep. Rick Nolan in “60 Minutes” expose from CBS, members of Congress are encouraged to spend thirty hours per week in call centers for their respective parties asking for donations:

Rep. Rick Nolan:Thirty hours is what they tell you you should spend. And it’s discouraging good people from running for public office. I could give you names of people who’ve said, “You know, I’d like to go to Washington and help fix problems, but I don’t want to go to Washington and become a mid-level telemarketer, dialing for dollars, for crying out loud.”
Interviewer:You’re saying members of Congress are becoming like telemarketers?”
Rep. Rick Nolan:Well, 30 hours a week, that’s a lot of telemarketing. Probably more than most telemarketers do.
This emphasis on fundraising also results in fewer good people running for office according to Nolan – another opportunity cost of the current democratic process. 6

While political engagement is necessary for a functioning democracy, this engagement can incur a heavy cost on the people it purportedly serves. Current democracies risk turning politics into an industry unto itself. When the democratic process becomes an industry unto itself, it ceases to act on behalf of the people and instead serves the political actors.

4) Democracy is Expensive and Politicians Push Costs to Future Generations

The fourth flaw of democracy is the tendency for democracies to become more expensive over time as citizens vote for additional benefits from the government. Once a benefit is provided to citizens they will rarely vote to remove this benefit, especially when it is financed through tax dollars. This is particularly true when the benefit has been provided for several generations. Over time, this leads wealthy societies to become more dependent on the government to provide for the citizenry. Alexander Fraser Tytler, an influential professor of universal history in the 18th century and an expert on the rise and fall of civilizations summarized this tendency:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.” 7

Tytler suggests that civilizations emerge out of hardship through great faith and courage. This struggle ultimately leads to liberty and abundance in which citizens are largely free to act as they see fit. But while desirable in their own right, liberty and abundance lead to selfishness and apathy when not tempered by discipline. Finally, when in a state of material wealth, a civilization returns to a state of dependence in which the citizenry chooses welfare and handouts over personal responsibility. This allows tyrants to exploit complacent citizens through false promises which leads to the final stage, the stage that defines most of human political history: bondage. Aristotle formulates Tytler’s cycle succinctly:

“Inevitably, masculine republics give way to feminine democracies, and feminine democracies invariably give way to tyranny.”
-Aristotle
And the prolific historian Will Durant summarized this phenomenon even more simply:

“A civilization is born Stoic and dies Epicurean.”
-Will Durant
This trend toward dependence is evident in the amount of debt a democratic nation accrues. Consider that nine of the ten most indebted nations are considered democracies by the World Population Review 8,9. Only the tiny Asian nation of Bhutan (considered a “hybrid regime”) is not considered either a flawed or full democracy. The graph below demonstrates that democracies are particularly prone to spending beyond their means. Debt is money borrowed from future generations to pay for the expenses of the current generation. By voting themselves benefit after benefit, citizens vote themselves into being financial liabilities. These liabilities are expected to be paid for by future generations, creating an unsustainable financial trajectory. As we have seen from Tytler’s cycle of civilizations, this unstable financial path can then be exploited by opportunists willing to bribe citizens with additional benefits in exchange for their freedom. This results in a reduction of liberty and prosperity in society.

Conclusion

In conclusion, democracies come with flaws like all forms of government. Democracy’s tendency to reflect the vices of their citizenry and pit citizens against each other means that democratic nations should focus on the education and ethics of their populaces. Consequently, their voters can make informed and moral choices when selecting elected leaders. The high opportunity cost of political campaigns and the propensity for democracies to accrue large amounts of debt is also a serious flaw in democratic governments. Laws that limit campaign contributions and government spending constraints could mitigate these issues, though this is easier said than done. Voters and representatives alike will need to be cognizant of future generations when considering any increase in government benefits.

Overall, no form of government is perfect. It can be trendy to ridicule democratic government given the current state of the western world. However, let us refrain from unreflective and reckless criticism. Perhaps Winston Churchill’s wise assessment of the system is most appropriate:

“Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others.”
-Winston Churchill

Pray For Ye

DECEMBER 1, 2022
God often uses the most unexpected people in the most unexpected ways to accomplish His Will and as wild as it might seem: God is using Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, for a big purpose. I have no doubt of this in my heart based on what I have seen and heard from the man over the past few months.

God can use anyone He wants in order to accomplish His will. We don’t get to pick and choose, He does. We need to have faith and pray for everyone involved in what God is doing through Ye right now. Pray for a host of angels to surround and protect Ye and those around him. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give them discernment and wisdom. Pray that many people will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through Ye’s immense cultural influence on the youth. Pray that people will look beyond the attacks of the Enemy to destroy and defame him. Pray that people will see that what is going on is much bigger than politics. It’s spiritual warfare.

I believe that Ye demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ today on Infowars, which extends to all people. It’s unthinkable and sad that many Christians are failing to understand this basic Biblical concept and are once again taking the lying media headlines at face value. How many times do we need to learn this lesson? The red media is not our friend. All they do is lie, misrepresent and fabricate to form fear and drive people away from Truth.

Christ’s love and forgiveness extends to the beggar, the stealer, the murder, and the tyrant. The love and salvation of Jesus Christ is open to ALL. That was my takeaway from watching the Ye interview on Infowars today in full as it aired live. If you take the time to ignore the clickbait headlines, set aside the programmed emotional responses that have been drilled into your brain for decades, and sit down and listen to the man speak for the full interview I think you’ll come to the same conclusion.

“Either Jesus said so or Jesus said no.”

Ye has spoken extensively about the problem of sin in our society. He talks about the need for our leaders to uphold Christian values, not Zionist ones. He repeatedly glorifies Jesus Christ and demonstrates humility as well as a yearning to obey God. He said the we need to “come home to Christ” as a nation and that as God’s people “we are the Church.” All of this overshadowed any clickbait headlines you are going to read about this interview.

Ye is a master marketer. He knows what he is doing. He is getting all eyes on him so he can point all eyes to Christ and to the Truth. It’s so obvious to me because I employ this same exact strategy. Ye understands that controversy is attention. Attention is influence. Influence is power. Ye is using the influence and talents that God has given him to speak the Truth and glorify Jesus Christ. You may not agree with the way he is doing it, but that’s exactly what he is doing.

As we have these conversations with our friends and family about the taboo, but truthful topics being discussed right now we have to remember that not everyone knows as much as we do. We need to have patience and empathy with people as they wake up to the reality of what is going on in our world and who is doing it. Pray for them. Explain things calmly and logically. Do not get into fights with family members or friends and do not destroy relationships over these subjects. Meet people where they are. Approach it in love and kindness, but speak the Truth boldly.

As Ye is demonstrating to us all.

God bless,

Jesus Christ is King of kings

In the book of Exodus, Moses is called by God to go down and speak to Pharaoh, to command that his people be freed from the oppressive yoke of Egypt. Free to do what? Free to leave and to have their own country, reflecting their own religion and values.

“And the Lord said to him: I have seen the affliction of my people in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of the rigour of them that are over the works;
And knowing their sorrow, I am come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians, and to bring them out of that land into a good and spacious land, into a land that floweth with milk and honey…
For the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have seen their affliction, wherewith they are oppressed by the Egyptians.”

Exodus 3:7-10
Throughout the Bible, God has chosen a Joseph or a Daniel to come before the great political leaders and present them with his ultimatum. In Christian history, the same can be said of the great saints. St Catherine of Alexandria confronted Roman Emperor Maxentius and after the conversion of Constantine came the European civilisation of Latin Christendom. In those days, kings answered to God in this life and the next. Saint King Louis IX of France is a great example.

Indeed, Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV famously travelled the Road to Canossa, through the Alps, in mid-Winter, finally kneeling in repentance for three days and three nights at the Pope’s gates in a blizzard. He appealed to Pope Hildebrand to lift his excommunication for political corruption. The sin of simony was the buying up of bishoprics and other powerful positions in the Church for family members. Henry had failed to adhere to the Gregorian Reforms. Now, we live in times which the Bible would describe as dark, when everyone does what seems right in their own eyes and when our enemies, with foreign and antagonistic beliefs, rule over us. But, it seems that the hand of providence is at work again and that a reform may be taking place in our time.

Ye’s Ultimatum for Trump

It started with Kanye ‘Ye’ West posing with a ‘White Lives Matter’ top. Thereafter, Ye refused to yield to the countless media attacks against him, no matter how personal and no matter how threatening. Very rapidly, through the month of November 2022, we have seen Ye declare that he has had enough and, in short, that he is willing to run in the 2024 US presidential race to truly drain the political swamp of anti-Christian forces. Returning to Twitter on the 20th of November, Ye has since posted clips in which he condemns the sinfully permissive laws in the US, from pornography to corrupt business practices, particularly in the entertainment industry. Most notably, Ye wants Christians, sincere Christians, to dominate at least the legislature and the executive powers of the US. ‘God first’ is his chief policy, but the reform he has in mind is an overall cultural shift.

Is this all eccentric whimsy? Ye seems serious. Is he serious about winning or is he forcing Donald Trump into a more radical platform with the threat of a protest vote? Right now, we aren’t 100% certain that Ye will run. For sure, he has surrounded himself with reactionary figures who share his aims for America. Together with the political firebrands Milo Yiannopoulos and Nicholas J. Fuentes, Ye sat down with Trump for dinner in his Mar-a-Lago estate. These are not just three Christian figures, they are now three of the most cancelled men in America. They came to President Trump, who has definitely thrown his hat into the 2024 race, not to feebly petition the end of cancel culture, but to challenge him. They demanded that he truly drain the swamp and revolutionise the entire political system in the US for the good of the American people and their Christian values. Ye surprised Trump by inviting him to be his running mate in 2024 to accomplish this.

Reflecting on his so-called ‘Mar-a-Lago Debrief’ with Milo, Ye summarised the ultimatum that he presented to Trump: ‘Since we know and all the Christians in America that love Trump know that Trump is a conservative, we are going to demand that you hold all policies directly to the Bible.’ Fuentes, present at Trump’s dinner table, had been to the various ‘Stop the Steal’ rallies throughout America to protest the perceived stealing of the 2020 election away from a Trump victory; the main chant at those events was ‘Christ is King’, agreeing entirely with Ye’s sentiments and indeed those of the growing Christian nationalist movement in the US. Fuentes often wore a bulletproof vest to the above rallies. Dining with Trump was a figure prepared to die for him, one representing the various January 6th protesters and Trump-loyalist Christians. The line in the sand has been drawn very clearly: Trump either sides with the loyal base of Christian nationalists or sides with the currently corrupt powers that be, i.e. the enemies of the Christian spirit of the American people.

The Rise of Christian Nationalism

It seems too surreal – the most cancelled men in America were invited by the richest black man in American history, Ye, to dine with President Trump and be God’s own spokesmen. Just as the prophet Daniel was able to read the writing on the wall for Babylonian King Belshazzar, Ye’s ultimatum to Trump is likewise a momentous event in Christian history.

This is no exaggeration. Christian nationalism is indeed on the rise in America and so Trump should beware lest he also be found wanting. Stephen Wolfe’s Case for Christian Nationalism and Gab founder Andrew Torba’s Christian Nationalism have both been selling very well. Many Americans realise that the pluralism and secularism of liberal modernity cannot sustain a Christian polity. A shared mythos and a shared religion are necessary for shared values, not least of all our definition of justice; this was the main argument of my own Arktos book, The Uniqueness of Western Law, primarily aimed at libertarians.

‘Libertarianism’, i.e. laissez-faire liberalism, which celebrates big business, small government and ‘each to their own’ individualism, became synonymous with the right wing in the US during the Cold War. These became the values that distinguished America and the West from Communism in the East, culminating in the presidency of Ronald Reagan. The red elephant in the room for Republicans is that US institutions, not least of all their political institutions, were left vulnerable for decades under neo-liberalism and neo-conservatism. Now they aren’t just prey to those with values antithetical to Christian America, they are tightly controlled by those who hate the people and the spirit of the US.

Seeing as Milo and Fuentes are Catholic, be sure that the liberal Catholic hierarchy will lash out against Ye’s integralist message. They will likely double down on the secular turn of the Vatican since the 1960s. Following Anglo-liberalism’s WWII victory in Western Europe, the Second Vatican Council Church has pursued a submissiveness to global liberal hegemony. However, this has never been the position of the Church. I have written elsewhere on the encouragement of nationalism and patriotism by the saints and doctors of the Church throughout her history, but a tremendous Arktos resource on this subject is Julien Langella’s Catholic and Identitarian. The ordinary teaching of traditional Christianity could not be clearer.

Let Ye’s People Go

Trump is not a spiritual man, but he thrust himself unwittingly into the centre of the cosmic battle; Christian nationalists will see that God arranged for Trump to be sat with his messengers. I don’t think Trump fully understands the significance of the ultimatum Ye has presented to him. Nevertheless, his choice will affect the outcome of American and world history. Will his heart be hardened like Pharaoh’s or will he become a venerated Cyrus the Great?

What is sure is that Ye will lead his people and will not acquiesce. The public discourse on this matter is peak controversy; it cannot abide the current limitations of cancel culture. If God is with Ye, then nothing can stop him and ‘the red media’ will be parted like the Red Sea.

Gab Fears Only God

DECEMBER 3, 2022
Gab is a First Amendment company which means we tolerate “offensive” but legal speech.
We believe that a moderation policy which adheres to the First Amendment, thereby permitting offensive content to rise to the surface, is a valuable and necessary utility to society. It allows unorthodox but correct views, such as the Wuhan Lab Origin Theory or the Hunter Biden laptop scandal– both of which were banned on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube but permitted on Gab– to propagate.
It allows hateful ideas, such as anti-White CRT, to be exposed and subject to scrutiny and challenge. It also allows Americans, and others around the world, to enjoy the full measure of their human right to speak freely online. Supporting the mission of freedom online means having the stomach to accept that people will say “edgy and offensive” things. When people have the freedom to discover the truth, they start to notice something about the reality of our discourse “boundaries” in the West that is unsettling.
Our broken society and culture have no problem whatsoever discussing and questioning any atrocity in world history except one.
We have no problem discussing, questioning, and praising any other world leader in history except one.
We have no problem generalizing and being critical of any group of people except one.

We have no problem discussing the castration of children, degeneracy, vulgarity, profanity, blasphemy, drugs, satanism, baby murder, and every taboo subject under the sun except one.

I don’t even have to say which “one” for you all to know exactly what and who I am talking about–and that’s the problem. We all know, but we are too afraid to say it out loud. Why? This is the United States of America. This is the free and open internet. If we can talk about every other historical event, people group, religion, and taboo we should be able to talk about this.

Frankly, I believe the time to start speaking the truth boldly and loudly is right now. Not from a place of hatred or malice, but from a place of love. We love our nations. We love our families. We love our neighbors. We want to see them all thrive. That’s not happening right now in our society. The reason for that is the people in power do not fear and love the Lord. They serve satan and they serve themselves. You can either serve satan and the self or you can serve Jesus Christ. There is no middle ground. We want leaders who serve and obey Jesus Christ. Period.
The Regime’s anti-Christ religion depends on these issues being untouchable subjects. Which is exactly why—as free people who fear only God—we can and must openly talk about them in order to destroy their sacred cows and smash their idols. If we break down their barriers on discourse we can and will remove them from power and restore order in our countries once again.
We will replace them with leaders who fear and love the Lord. It’s not a matter of if, but when. Gab is the one place on the internet that allows this to happen with words and Truth. Which is exactly why the Regime has worked so hard to try and destroy our platform. That’s why they have defamed us and gone after our families and friends. That’s why they banned us from banks, app stores, payment processors, hosting providers, and so much more. That’s why they tried to buy us, threaten us, and intimidate us. They are the most powerful people, businesses, activist groups, and governments in the world with infinite resources, but we serve the most powerful and infinite God.

We do not fear them at Gab. We fear Him.
Many Christians will message me or leave comments saying I need to remove profanity or “Nazis” from Gab or whatever they deem to be “not Christian.” They ask me how I can tolerate these things on Gab as a Christian leader and the answer is simple.
First: Gab is a free speech site. You control what you want to see, not us. You can mute entire words if you never want to see them. You can block or mute or unfollow people you do not want to see. Gab’s job on the moderation side is to make sure there is no illegal content being posted according to US law such as threats of violence or child exploitation. Otherwise, 99.9% of moderation on Gab is done by the users themselves on their own profiles and in their own groups.
Second: I want everyone to be exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the kindness, patience, and charity of Christians. Even the “Nazis.” Gab may soon be the one place online where people hear about Jesus. I have seen countless Gabbers return to Christ, get baptized, and start going to church after being inspired by other Gabbers and the Holy Spirit. Why on earth would we not want things like that to happen here?

I was reminded of this today when a woman on Gab sent a message to my wife saying “I can tell you that since I’ve been on Gab my life has transformed because the platform is so encouraging and it’s like a bible study with likeminded believers when I get on.” We receive messages like this from Gabbers every single day.

Gab is the home of free speech. It’s where taboos, sacred cows, and “untouchable” conversations go to die. It’s where freedom and the Gospel of Jesus Christ which provides that freedom–can be found.

Gab is the home of the parallel Christian society. They can’t cancel us here. We no longer care about being canceled in their anti-Christ regime society because we are building our own–everything. Our own social media platform. Our own community. Our own economy. Our own payment processor. Our own news and media outlets. Our own entertainment. All of it build on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ–and we are only just getting started.

So I guess the crowd is all in about Christianity being in crisis in this country.

Welcome to the New Rome

by Zman
Imagine you agree to play a game with someone and the first rule of the game is that your opponent sets the rules of the game and he can change the rules whenever he likes for any reason he likes. That would mean that no matter your mastery of the rules, you must always lose the game because your opponent will simply change the rules whenever necessary. You would spend all of your time learning rules that keep changing to put you at a disadvantage.

This is a republished article from the ZmanBlog, reposted here with his permission.

Similarly, imagine that you decide to build a house on another man’s property, without getting a fixed agreement on your use rights. Since the landowner could at any time tell you to remove your house or even deny you access to it, the focus of your life must be making sure that you are in good standing with the landowner. While technically the house is yours, in reality, he sets the rules for how you use it. Like the game example above, your life is about complying with changing rules.

This is the situation for professional Christians. They have agreed to allow their opponents to set the rules of the moral framework. Like the guy building a house on another man’s land, they have built their church on progressive land. The professional Christian must always get permission to use his church. Or like the game example, he must spend his time making sure the tenets of his faith comport with the changing morality of the prevailing moral framework.
You see it in this rather bizarre post at First Things. There are two main assertions made in the post. One is that racism, and the mythological concept of white supremacy, are the worst things possible. The other point is that it is the duty of Christians to purge those accused of these sins from the ranks of the political Right. To make this point, he piles on a guy named Thomas Achord, a headmaster of a private classical Christian academy, who was accused of blasphemy by the Left.

A feature of professional Christianity is to not only abandon a fellow Christian attacked by the enemies of the faith but to also rush to the front of the line of bigots taking turns kicking the accused. Here is the execrable Rod Dreher taking some self-righteous shots at Thomas Achord. Like David French, Rod Dreher never misses an opportunity to promote his own virtue. He is who Emerson had in mind when he said, “The more he spoke of his virtue, the faster we counted the spoons.”
Note that Christian mercy never comes up when the Left starts howling for the blood of a Christian accused of violating the progressive faith. Professional Christians are like a pack of wild dogs. As soon as they sense a member of the pack is weak, they pounce on the poor fellow, tearing him to pieces. One cannot help but wonder if this behavior is solely to please the Left. Many of them, like Dreher and French, seem to take pleasure in these sadistic rituals.

Of course, the reason that professional Christians rush out these condemnations whenever one of their own has violated progressive dogma is to let the people holding the other end of the leash know they are a good boy. For professional Christians, what matters is remaining in good standing with the Left. These ritualized condemnations are a public act of piety – progressive piety. It is an affirmation that Christian piety must always rest on the moral foundations of the Left.
Another example of this sort of vulgarity is this self-published video from an Anglican priest in Nova Scotia Canada. If not for the collar, one would be forgiven for thinking Father Ed Trevors is a weirdo from the grievance studies department. In the description of this tantrum, he makes sure to post his pronouns. One thing missing from his public act of piety is a reference to Scripture. Like all Anglican priests, he is probably unfamiliar with the foundation text of his church.

Putting aside the vulgarity of these displays, the premise of the argument in that First Things article is anything but a Christian argument. Jesus Christ had plenty of chances to state his opinions about racism and white supremacy. He had nothing to say on the matter. His disciples wrote and spoke about the full range of the human dilemma but never bothered to mention anything about racism. Scripture is silent on the issue of race and the moral claims around it.
The reason for this is that these are entirely novel concepts conjured in the last century for purely political reasons. Even those on the winning side of the American Civil War lacked the racism concept. Lincoln famously said, “there is a physical difference between the white and black races that will for ever forbid the two races from living together on terms of social and political equality.” He repeated these claims throughout the Civil War to audiences on his side.

Now, some people will cherry-pick lines from Scripture claiming that Jesus was very much opposed to racism. Never mind that the concept did not exist in the age of Jesus and his language lacked words for the concept. Even if one can make these leaps of logic, the reason for doing so is to make Christian morality match progressive morality, to please the people controlling public morality. Those who bothered to read their Bible should be thinking of Matthew 6:24 right now.
In fairness, the professional Christian can argue that Christians must live in this world and that means navigating around secular moral claims. That is clearly not what we are seeing with these people. Instead, their Christianity is just part of the sales pitch they use to convince Christian people to embrace secular morality. Once you accept this new class of sins as far worse than those in your theology, you have subordinated your theology to those creating the new class of sins.

Arguably the most challenging thing is this age is to be a Christian. Your enemies control the commanding heights of Western society. Your friends are always looking for a way to profit from their alleged defense of you. It is a good reminder that all moral frameworks must stand alone. In the case of Christianity, it means the logic of the faith must stand outside of and often opposed to the prevailing orthodoxy.
Christianity now finds itself where it started. Welcome to the new Rome.

So this is what rivalry looks like.

Musk Is In Over His Head

DECEMBER 16, 2022
Elon Musk is in over his head when it comes to free speech.
Musk is quickly learning that in order to run a free speech platform you need two things: thick skin and a fanatical commitment to free speech, even when being pro free speech is bad for business, and even when being pro free speech means tolerating the most excoriating criticism of yourself.

Elon’s “free speech” saga at Twitter is really nothing of the sort. He’s treating the product, and his users, as his playthings. Flailing, hyper-feminine emotional outbursts are a substitute for a “leadership style.” All told, he has revealed that he has no interest whatsoever in bringing actual free speech to Twitter.
Twitter was, ironically, more measured and free when there were thousands of mentally ill blue-haired Communists with their fingers on the ban hammer. At least the Communists tried to come up with an objective and consistent rationale for their actions. Contrast with Elon, who waved the flag of free speech as soon as he took over but immediately began compromising on that promise for the sake of business expediency.

When it came to Alex Jones being reinstated, Elon had an emotional reaction and invoked the loss of his child. When it came to Kathy Griffin impersonating him, Elon had an emotional reaction and swung the ban hammer on anyone in his way. When it came to Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, posting a symbol of a French UFO cult which combined a swastika and a Star of David, Elon had an emotional reaction and banned him so as to be hip with all of the other California types who were throwing Ye to the wolves.

Now with the ElonJet and journalist ban situation, where constitutionally protected information which is publicly available is being removed from the site (despite being massively available practically everywhere else on the Internet) Elon is once again “leading” with his emotions and treating Twitter not as a product, not as an essential and vital publication utility for the entire world, but as a toy, and one controlled by a petulant child at that.
Men who lead do not make decisions and dictate on the whims of their emotions. Weak, hyper-effete men “leading” with emotions instead of reason and logic is a big reason Western society is crumbling. Given Elon’s Reddit-tier political takes and patchy soy beard, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to find out that he is low on the testosterone side. But I digress.
Gab is for free speech. The lefty journalists recently banned from Twitter might not believe it but when they find that they get zero engagement on Mastodon and are looking to join a serious social media platform again, but Gab will be here waiting for them – and we will protect them from all censors, foreign and domestic, to the greatest extent possible– as long as their speech is lawful.

Some of these journalists who were banned last night, like Matt Binder, have been extremely critical of Gab and our users in the past. I don’t like Matt. He’s been unfair to Gab in the past. But Gab exists for him. Gab exists to provide a home and a megaphone for viewpoints that don’t have a home anywhere else. Until Elon took over Twitter, that meant we were a home for the right and center-right. After Elon took over, we are ready, willing, and able to provide that home for the left and center-left, just as we are prepared to host anyone who agrees that they will not violate U.S. law in the use of our service.
We can no longer afford to give any power whatsoever to petty tyrants who think themselves to be god-kings. This is the outcome when emasculated emotional losers “lead” our society: chaos, hypocrisy, destruction, and censorship.
Twitter is a big corporation and it has big corporate baggage. It needs huge quantities of advertising dollars from all over the world, including the most censorial European countries, just to survive. When EU bureaucrats tell him to censor Americans he has to obey. Last week the EU asked us to censor some Americans – citing no law that had been broken, simply saying that certain users were posting “propaganda” – and we told them to pound sand. No US court will ever enforce an unconstitutional European rule. If we never sell a dollar of ads in the European Union, that’s perfectly fine with us.

The reason I run Gab because I believe that protecting freedom of speech is a divine command. We must refuse to be “led” by anyone who is not themselves led by Jesus Christ. We deserve strong God-fearing Christian leaders in media, business, technology, culture, education, and government.
I may not agree with your beliefs. You may not agree with mine. You may think my belief in God is a backward superstition. I may think your atheism is corrosive. None of that matters. Whoever you are, wherever you are, I, and this company, will defend your right to speak freely on the Internet as long as we are able to do so.

No, Mark, Elon doesn't mention Gab because Gab sucks and the only people who still use it are old people like you who still believe Torba's free speech bullshit.
