AniList - Animanga Tracking Community Turned TDS-Ridden, Pro-Lolicon, and Pro-Troon Hugbox

  • Natalie, the open lolicon advocate, is now a mod again.

This Natalie is also a massive consoomer as well:

With the amount of money blown on this collection, would this Natalie have been able to get something like a used car instead of this "shrine"? And the amount of pink is going to burn people's eyes out at this rate.

The AniList stats pages says that there are 17k+ reviews on the site, but I don't seem to see them compared to MAL:

Does the longer (?) character requirement for AL reviews compared to MAL ones (?) lessen the amount? Part of the fun of these Animanga tracking sites is reading reviews, whether they are actually helpful, or just massive shitposts. They seem to be rarer on sites not called MAL.

Also, is there a reason why these Animanga tracking sites don't allow you to rate a character or staff member as disliked? The exceptions are that AniDB lets you rate characters and staff on a 1-10 scale, and Anime-Planet lets you mark characters as disliked, and you can leave comments about characters and staff as well.

I think it's just because MAL has like nearly 20 million more users than AniList and is a decade older.

These places are run by thin-skinned egoists, though at the same time, are aware their community consists of similar people who literally grow too attached to drawings to the point any criticism of said-character can drive them to suicide. So I assume to avoid (lol) conflicts between strangers, they don't allow you to rate characters with dislikes.

Mind you, it doesn't stop people from popping onto your page to scream at you about rating their totes-favorite show less than an "8", but to them, that's more manageable than having to deal with the autists who think they're actually married to some character and will scour the Internet for detractors to whiteknight for them.
