There is something really satisfying about playing Dam, running to an elevator with a rocketeer on you, and allowing it to lock on and fire at you just as people are extracting. Doesn’t always kill them, but I take pride in knowing that I made some people shit their pants as they get knocked down.

What I've been enjoying is going to extracts, usually on Dam or Blue Gate, and throwing 3 trigger 'nades onto the lift button, then hiding in a bush and waiting for someone to run up and click the button. The trigger nades flash the same color light as the lift button, and are virtually invisible unless you know what you're looking at.

Once I see them get close enough, I detonate and collect my well earned profit.
this is so reliable its free loot, its just best wait till a good bit into the round and you'll get people who went to high level areas, I don't care about wasting trigger nades on a guy with a level 1 rattler.

Yea they cost a processor and a couple crude oils, so like super easy to make.
Sadly hearing a big explosion does attractive attention and it's not always easy to loot everything before someone shows up lol.

I also love snaking niggas after teaming up.
Some of the best ways I've done are letting them get all the best loot, like from weapons crates etc, then depending on what's available I'll hit them with a stun nade or maybe start wailing on them while they're searching a crate, hell if I have it I'll set up a zip line and pretend to "cover" them and then just take them down while they're on it lmfao.

I have live footage of Irregardless taking out a Raider at the extract, shocking to see, really.

You didn't let the rest of the clip play out
Harvest was able to warn Josuke in the end.
Oh I'm well aware that was his undoing, its always a nice narrative turn for such small things to be the ruin for such meticulous characters, small like a little button, defeated and undone by a middleschooler.

I'm seeing on Twitter videos of certain Raiders that other raiders by laying traps at the elevator call in button,

Someone tried doing that to me today, headed to the Power Generation complex extraction elevator as its timer was coming to an end and pressed the call in button, which activated an electrical trap that stunned me briefly, but luckily, I knew immediately someone was likely trying to kill me so I used the elevator building entrance as cover and tried to scout out who was there. I think there were two people as I saw a few arc drones facing towards an area at the front of me. Unfortunately, a few drones started facing me and started to shoot at so I had to the south west direction, and the guy shot at me from the green shed thing at the west of the elevator entrance.
I exchanged fire back with my Arpeggio but the drones were closing in on me so I had to continue running and decided to take the risk of jumping down to the roofless power generation machine room and hope to catch myself on the edge of one of the machine structures.

I did so, and fortunately I did manage to catch myself as planned, and managed to escape from those raiders and left them to deal with the rest of the drones while the timer for the elevator ran out.

That was one of the best near death experiences I ever got an in a videogame, got a good thrill from it.

they were tards, if they just used 2 trigger nades, you'd simply be dead.

I'm noticing that players are kinda increasingly becoming a little more aggressive, more people have been trying to kill me lately.

Luckily, none successful, having a medium tactical loadout with medium shield, and have recently discovered the Arpeggio, which is the gift that keeps on giving.

Oddly the players who are often trying to kill me have mere light shield loadouts with kettle guns and shit, barely have anything worth looting.

You'd think they would at least try to level up their guns and bring more grenades or something.

I wish there was some in game way of knowing if another raider has killed other players. Like making their character bloody for a short time or some other clue that they were a gank raider or possibly unfriendly without making it too blatant

I don't, I am that gank raider, and when I play solo and I extract, there's usually 3 niggas, so I don't want there to be any violence as I take away the loot from the gankee, I coudln't carry 3 more people's shit anyways.

I am the guy who stalks you in the buildings, throws a stick bomb on your person, and tags you with a shotgun round immediately after, letting you BITES THE DUSTO 2 seconds later from the sticky, and I don't want the other players knowing.

The Kettle and the Stitcher are some of the best PvP weapons right now, if you upgrade them to reduce the abysmal reload time and add an extended mag. They have a stupid low TTK. But a Light shield instead of a Medium is downright retarded

So how do expeditions work? I see you get some bonuses to your next character but do those bonuses stack for each time you do an expedition? Is there any indication of how many times you've sent characters away, like a prestige system? I'm just trying to figure out how worth doing it is since some people say the bonuses don't stack and others say they do.

not enough info so far, all it says is you get a bonus based off how you did, and other shit.

I wish they'd come put and post details and numbers because there's a big difference between it being a temporary buff for the hardcore players who don't mind starting over and are used to wipes in this type of game and a cumulative buff that gives you something to grind for and get stronger over time.

for balance reasons it should not be cumulative, the skill point bonuses would mean sweats would eventually max out the entire skill tree every time, faster than you too.

thankfully the skill trees are not exceptionally busted or anything.

Arc Raiders or Tarkov?
how badly do you want to fight cheaters? Tarkov is the game, its full of them, its a much more hardcore game where the guns are pretty realistic compared to most games, its also been metagamed to shit, its a misery simulator, but it certainly has high highs, just insane lows too.

Arc Raiders is a bit more casualized, except for the fact the robots, the PVE enemies, are incredibly dangerous and unpredictable due to how their A.I. was programmed and their capabilites, this creates situations where players might not murder each other because killing the robots at hand is smarter, so there's more friendly encounters, though in duo's and trio's this drops off a cliff, still happens I find, but Trios is pvp central.

Arc Raiders runs better, looks better and is more interesting in setting, Tarkov is older so it has more content, but its run by a complete fag-tard.

Arc Raiders is the clear winner to me, and its on the upswing since its so popular.
