Figure I would start a thread for Barstool Sports, since they are sports related and do videos and sport event stuff (like Billy fighting Jose Canseco and such).

Been following the road trip blog Barstool is doing with Billy and PFT and it's funny reading Billy's drunken frat boy antics and PFT editing the blogs and having to provide context/correct Bill's text about the trip and his antics and stuff.
 
 
Dave Portnoy confronts a Washington Post reporter named Emily about an article she was writing on him and his event called "Pizzafest". Emily emails advertisers of Pizzafest claiming that Dave is every liberal term you could throw at him

I'm not too familiar with Dave but I saw a couple of his pizza videos in my YouTube feed a while back and he seemed like a really unpleasant person. I'm not too sure why he has such a loyal audience when most of the time he just berates other people in a crass and juvenile way. Is there more to him? The comments on his videos seem to almost always be supportive so I feel I must be missing something.
 
His reviews seem legit, but he's a human turd and revels in it. When some union fuck tried to invade his company, he let his employees know he'd fire them on the spot.
Not every company needs a union.

The latest furor over Dragon Pizza was funny. Specifically, the owner thought he was going to walk out and do a bit, and Portnoy verbally tore him a new asshole.

I like stuff like that. It's not a collab, it's a pizza review. When he likes the pizza place, he gives a glowing review, if he thinks you suck, he scorches the earth.

I don't think a one bite review went as viral since godfathers, which was another "Why you film here" bullshit situation.

I don't like Dave Portnoy. I like his pizza reviews. I like that he is attacking a hack fuck journalist who thought they would file their hit piece with "Dave Portnoy was unavailable for comment."

I'm not a huge fan of Dave's dudebro antics but the fact that he doesn't back down and let journos shit on him is something to be admired. He did the same thing to NASCAR urinalist Jim Utter after he went after Barstool for no real reason and it was entertaining to see a guy who views himself as the gatekeeper of the Real Sports Media get his tendency for having people towed smeared all over the internet.
