You know I could understand if they mistakenly added a baneling per cast and didnt double the mana cost, but its been three weeks now since the patch and two of those weeks she has been free to play only exacerbating the problem. Even league of fucking legends would recognize an issue like this and fix the problem within the week.Oh? You dont like her new Double Baneling per cast rework? Then pick the first talent making it go Tower to Tower distance and then doubling the charges she gets at 7? That isnt fun for you???
Each baneling does like 150ish damage in an aoe around 7. At 7 she can spam 8 of those things rapid fire. In tiny hallways (that she can be nowhere near mind you) youre likely to get more than one hero and getting around 1k burst damage at level 7. If you have a diver hero with CC near you the enemy team literally cant compete. Oh and the only way to stop Zag from seiging towers down from the safety of her tower zone is by body blocking the banelings....aka free damage. Such bullshit lol.
The specialists have been reworked to fit into other roles but still have strong wave/camp clear. Objectives > neutrals and thats how it has always been. You take neutrals after objectives and only if there is nothing crashing into your base. Neutrals give you map control which allow you to eventually push core. AFK pushing a lane is weak now and for good reason, it is too oppressive to deal with in games with random people you cannot coordinate with. The same reason league of legends got rid of pure split pushers five years ago, its not fun to play against someone who is PVEing you to deathYea but early HotS allowed stuff 'specialists' to contribute to the team by taking neutral creeps and push lanes and still help the game.
Lately, at least before I left, HotS was all about team fights and the MobA aspects were completely forgotten about. There was no need to push, cause objectives would tear through a base faster than a creep wave. Neutrals are no longer viable, because the time it takes you to do neutrals, the enemy team takes care of the objective and wins the game, etc.
Some heros still have useless talents and only one viable build but they have gotten better about providing talents which allow you to more easily respond to what the enemy team is doing by offering more magic resist/armor/health talents. Talents have been improving from where they were five years ago because that is one of the few things the development team focuses onThe lack of builds always bothered me. In DotA you could customize your playstyle with items, in HotS you get 5 talents, 4 or which are noobie traps.
