The whole "video about 20 year old show that had a few moments that people wouldn't do today" trend is one of the laziest things anyone can do, not surprised it's popular with Breadtube.

One interesting thing is how few views they get compared to their subscriber count. You can actually see a drop off in the last 6 months where they are not getting near what they should be based on subs - there's one big video the algorithm chose but everthing else is dead. Even "adjacent" channels that aren't specifically Breadtube but have similar beliefs are going through it.

His books aren't too white, some of his most famous ones are American Gods (mixed race protagonist) and Anansi Boys which has two black brothers and is about Caribbean mythology. His most famous, Coraline, they added a black best friend (and side characters) for the movie. He could get retroactively cancelled for cultural appropriation, but if it hasn't happened by now I don't think it's happening.

one thing I’ve seen SJWs go after him for are his familial connections to Scientology. His dad was a very high ranking member of the church, responsible for some really fucked up operations by the church. Neil himself obviously wasn’t involved in any of that, but innocence proves nothing to these types.

Considering his willingness to speak on behalf of dead friends I’m less willing to forgive his silence in his father’s crimes than I used to be.

So I sat through this whole video. The sum of her video is that the people behind the Sound of Freedom are just performatively moral Christians with main character syndrome, and only care about fighting human trafficking insofar as it gives them righteous catharsis & hero status, because the way they fight human trafficking doesn't solve the actual root of the problem. What is this root, you may ask? That people are poor, and if you were to elevate everyone's living standards, then the pedophiles would just magically go away, I guess.

This video is a high IQ delivery of a low IQ solution. Her solutions include shit like free hypodermic needles for junkies, legalization of narcotics and other peak retarded ideas.

It also goes into a diatribe about how hero culture is bad because it creates authoritarianism, which is even more retarded. Also she's one of those faggots who get pissy about Mr. Beast curing people's blindness. If you're pissed off about someone curing someone else's blindness because it was done using a method (capitalism) you don't like, you're kind of a faggot.

Looking further into her videos, she's *tentatively pro-deplatforming. Her argument is that bad precedents and slippery slopes don't exist and the same instruments used to silence people she doesn't like could never be used to silence people she does like, such as herself.

Actually no, I misunderstood. She gave the argument and refuted deplatforming as innately untrustworthy as a solution to a problem that's baked into social media, which is that social media engineers you to be petty & vindictive for clout.
However, her assessment that deplatforming people doesn't make them into martyrs is retarded, KiwiFarms has been deplatformed over and over and it's only been growing since then. KF's own fate heavily contradicts her seeing as how KF crowdfunded $150,000+ for legal funds in under two days. If deplatforming doesn't create martyrs, then how'd that happen? So here's this other video I just watched from The Morbid Zoo, where she does a smack down on a low IQ Libertarian, and by the thirty minute mark it boils over into whining about "Why can't Communists form a non-profit like the FEE!?!?" Lady, the reason why American Marxists haven't formed a non-profit org like FEE is because Marxists are largely made up of lazy & incompetent people.

The CCP kidnapped him so they could effectively brainwash him into giving up the claim of Tibet to them cause the Dalai and the Panchen Lama are historically the rulers of Tibet in a theocratic semi feudalistic society. That kid has not been seen since 1995 and is one of the worlds only still captive political prisoners assuming he isnt dead, nobody knows where he is. The CCP in 2020 claimed that he went to university and is currently holding a job. Its amazing how the Omelas shit happened in real life and breadtubers never called that out but when convenient they use shit like it to emotionally manipulate audiences. Generally the people who talk most about economics especially through a historical lens know the least about it cause most economists especially libertarian economists like Friedman or Sowell, theyre generally very silent unless told to speak. Contrapoints is one of the only people who has been a bit smarter about economic topics cause he talks about them through a philosophical lens instead of trying to bumblefuck through personal perceptions of supposed evils of capitalism. They all have narcissism, its just to varying degrees. Envy of the rich disguised as Care for the poor.

Honestly looking at Breadtubers in general, my opinion of the left has only taken a nose dive over the years. I'm aware these creatures don't represent the average lefty who cares about worker's rights or some manner of protections for minorities against the predation of the majority but most of them are either focused on discussing why Paw Patrol is Fascist propaganda or (dishonestly) debating low-IQ morons on the internet for "epic owns." I'm to the point where a very dark part of me wants to see a Fascist or communist state take hold in America because it would at least brutally would purge these leeches of society.
