Brendan Schaub
Brendan Schaub is a former ufc fighter and football player curently comedian and podcaster. The later two jobs garnered him a lot of online ridicule. Communities dedicated to making fun of him were even created. The subreddit, originally a fan zone made to discuss his podcast, has been "hijacked" and is the home of his detractors (also called homeless cats). This phenomenon is reminiscent of Dsp or WingsofRedemption. More people listen to Brendan to make fun of the trashfire rather than to enjoy his content.
Most of Brendan's career opportunities are based on his connections rather than achievement, talent or work ethic. Brendan is the perfect example of failing upwards. His friendship with Joe Rogan, the number one podcaster worldwide allowed him to get his own comedy special on showtime incredibly early into his comedy career.
Brendan doesn't have any redeeming qualities as an entertainer. He's unfunny, manipulative, unlikable, dull and can barely string a sentence together (more on that later). This fuels the fighter and the kid subreddit creatively as they create work of art like this.

The UFC days
Brendan started his career as an athletic heavyweight prospect. He starred in the ultimate fighter 10th season( a mix between an mma tournament and a reality show). The season was one of the most popular and Brendan reached the finals before being koed in comical fashion (a tradition in all of his losses).
Brendan still got a ufc contract and peaked at number 13 in the world after koing an aging legend.
The mix of him koing a fan favourite, the follow up shots and him positioning himself as a "legend killer" rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
Brendan was set to kill another legend in big Nog but in a feel good moment the legend turned back the clock and koed him.

Blurry exit and lies
After that fight Brendan was stucked outside of the top 15. He then had an infamous talk with Joe Rogan in his podcast following a tko loss.
Joe humiliated Schaub in front of the audience. Schaub tries to cope but Joe shuts him down everytime.
His career is in a blurry limbo after that as he started a podcast with a comedian called Bryan Callen but he was also trying to negociate a comeback fight and better pay at the same time.
This period is also blurry because Schaub loves to rewrite history to make himself look better.
The best example being his childhood dream as he would conviniently change it depening on his current job.
When he's a football player, he always dreamed of being in the NFL.
When he's a UFC fighter , he always dreamed of being a cool mma fighter after watching Bloodsport
When he's a comedian, he always dreamed of being a comedian after watching a special on TV.
Speaking of special, Brendan's was so bad that his sponsor (a CBD oil company) had to bribe people to increase the rating (1.9/10)
During the special Brendan convieniently bends the truth to make himself look better/funnier.
He tries to spin his last fight into a beautiful effort in defeat against a young lion when he just looked like shit and got uncemoniously tko by a man litteraly rawdogging his ex gf.
The funniest fabrication being by far the asian doctor story.
The guy speaks better english than Schaub!
Actually, Schaub is not a native english speaker. He got his own language.
Schaubism
A mix of low Iq and brain damage, sometimes it's hard to communicate with others. It's debilitating. As he would say himself:
His detractor have their own lingo imitating Schaub.
It's incredible how having the right connections allowed Brendan to have a career in comedy when he can't tawlk properly.
Cheater
Even if Schaub should be grateful towards Joe he still throws him under the bus sometimes.
Case in point this clip were he says his married friend Joe is Slanging dicks.
The segment was removed from the podcast and he gave a weak explanation saying that slanging dicks means being succesful.
Brendan also allegedly routinely cheats on his wife. There's a ton of allegation of him slidding in girls dms and suspect touching in public with fans.

Both women later say that it was an unfunny comedian with kids and say that's a clue.

According to some, he's maybe in an open relationship. I wonder if it allows him to fuck men.

The subreddit is not the only entity making fun of Bapa.
Brian Campbel mocked Schaub effortlessly with references to the subreddit.
His fellow comedians and fighters have 0 respect for him
Even the staff of his podcast makes fun of him.

Suing a youtuber
This is the lastest drama.
The original video is sadly lost media but a small content creator posted a video revealing that Braindead was suing him. His channel got terminated and no one saved an archive. The youtuber showed legal documents and the adress Schaub was using was the adress of his dad.
Also the main gripe with the youtuber was copyright which is ironic considering Schaub was sued by Disney for copyright violation and generaly makes money out of reaction to other peoples content.
The fact no one saved the video convinced me to make that thread. I don't trust the subreddit when it comes to long term archival and youtube channels can easily be nuked.
