Business Proposal Thread

I have quite the serious proposal. Well it’s not actually a proposal it’s something I’m actively trying to get involved in and the business is already established.

My buddy started a new business venture. His goal is to sell directly to the consumer from one of three refineries he’s partnered with. These sales have to involve about 100k barrels of fuel (jet fuel and diesel) and transportation is arranged based off of the final destination of the product.

The roadblock I’m hitting is that I’m asking myself “where the fuck am I going to find someone who wants to buy a large quantity of fuel, in the form of thousands of barrels?”

I’ve looked into government contracts and I’m trying to teach myself how to make a proposal for the bidding process for procurement but that is taking time as I work a full time job where I average 65 hours a week with one 48 hour weekend a month. Most airports use contracts/bidding processes so that is going to be difficult.

Does anyone have any ideas I can look into?

Gas stations, farmers, construction businesses, remote places (in alaska, canada ect), preppers and boat related services.

None of the above has the storage capacity to accept 100k barrels at a time. A barrel is around 40-55 gallons.
Well then your kinda out of luck, since all the businesses that could accept that amount are already covered. Frankly, count yourself lucky that your not involved in the business yet, since unless your somehow winning gov contracts, then good luck selling that oil. Now, something you could do is try and sell it in south america/asia, though that in of itself comes with massive drawbacks.
