Code Miko is somewhat of a pioneer in this. Unlike your typical Booth Model+Paid Rigger type setup she has a full motion tracking suit as well as face tracking and does the modelling, rigging, etc from scratch. It'd be ironic if she didn't already exist. As it stands it is moronic since these fags have no hope of hitting the technical depth or entertainment value of an established one-woman show.
Their voice is nothing more than a high pitched falsetto mixed with a voice mod. It's really, really bad and it's almost certainly Marcan himself.

I feel like the Vtuber is just Hector/Marcan himself (either trooning out or trying to get in on the vtubing grift). Byuu is still a possibility though, so this should definitely be watched closely.
Take a look at their youtube history:
Notice that Marcan has barely streamed at all recently. In fact, his last video was on May 4th. He used to stream at least twice a month, often 4+ times per month.
The Vtuber started streaming on April 1st. It makes sense, if this is Marcan, that he's been neglecting his original channel since he's spending so much time trying to launch his Vtuber channel.
When I read that the Vtuber "debuted" by pretending to hack into Marcan's stream, I assumed that they were separate people. I thought they had interacted together on that stream, but after skimming through the video... nope!

Someone asked where Hector/Marcan lives. Certainly not definitive, but his Github claims he's in Tokyo, Japan. So it's plausible that Marcan knows some Japanese and has set up some of his server infrastructure in the country.

Something about this Cai-Tan thing irks me on a personal level. I can't explain why, but instead of doing my normal thought process of "nice catgirl drawing", something freaks me out about it. I think its the thin elbows and the neck being too small for that head.
