Wow, it took two months to get back to me. I got an interesting call fifteen minutes ago from the Passport Vital Records Section. They do not have documentation of his death.
Edit: Not sure if this number should be posted in full, as it's not listed on the internet. It wasn't the same one that we contacted initially.

It's two things. The first is that it is politically expedient for him to stay dead than it is to acknowledge that he is alive and that they were tricked into believing a set of lies. This can be something they parrot about this site whenever it is brought up and be used as another example of why this place is the worst thing on the internet. Same thing with that "Julie Terry Berry" case or the Christchurch shooting request.

The other is that the people who believe this tend to be morons who don't want to admit that they were tricked by a really shitty faked suicide. Trying to convince people that they were were lied to and believed whole heartedly in a story is difficult. Most would rather either drag you into the hole they dug themselves into or shout you down than admit that they were fooled.

Can't they send you an e-mail from a proven mail saying "We do not have documentation at this time of the death of Byuu blah blah blah"? Tell them that it is for journalistic purposes.

Edit: The 485 is also for landlines in Washington D.C., and there are a few Government numbers tied to it, like the Office of Authentications, State Department MIA/POW, and Child Abductions (faxing number though).

This wouldn't actually work. According to Wikipedia rules, primary documents like official government sources would be "Original Research" so even if every single government agency in Japan reported that David Kirk Ginder was still alive and posted video of him dancing around naked and sucking cocks in public, unless some "Reliable Source" like the New York Times or some tranny's personal blog reported it, it couldn't be used, and the "fact" that he's dead would still be the "Wikipedia fact."

I was referring to "for journalistic purposes" in the post I quoted. Some news source would want to update that old Byuu article with new information about how he faked his death. If not, it could be used to easily cause a PR nightmare. Journalists may lie, but they don't want to deny the validaty of gov documents.
Plus, it's juicy.

No they wouldn't. They'd still continue reporting him as dead. Because nobody cares.

I've watched them literally just outright lie about stuff like what was actually going on in the Rittenhouse case day to day, when the entire full video of what actually happened was completely available. They do this without the slightest trace of shame. And unless a "Reliable Source" reports it, Wikipedo goes with the lies of the media over the obvious, verifiable truth.

You could say "nobody is stupid enough to do this." But they're not stupid. They trust that their stupid audience will believe any bullshit they say, no matter how obviously false.
