TFW your pitch about a generic moid cracker working at the gay children factory gets rejected again
This, I don’t even care about the movie but the fact that libtards and leftists complain about it for being “too centrist” just makes me kekOkay. Still not going to watch it, though, due to the artstyle alone.
Yeaaaaah.... no. We have even less life experiences than millenials do.Almost all Millennials are a mistake to western animation. I wonder if zoomers and alphas are gonna do any better at the animation industry
Possible powerlevel but I went to a fairly affluent art school for a brief time and the zoomers there are even worse.Almost all Millennials are a mistake to western animation. I wonder if zoomers and alphas are gonna do any better at the animation industry or not
"Except when women pitch--"
You know, I don't trust that her pitch really is universally relatable or "four quadrant" (whatever that means.) POST PITCH, BITCH! Let us see how woke and cringe your idea of "universally relatable" is!
Eternal reminder that this faggot killed his brother and best friend by driving like a complete retard- Schafrillas
Probably not. Alphas especially might be the one where they trauma dump all their issues with Millennial Parenting the same way millennials use animation to air their grievance about Boomer Parenting.Almost all Millennials are a mistake to western animation. I wonder if zoomers and alphas are gonna do any better at the animation industry or not
Nailed it.If your character is 5 minutes from a boba drink, it's not relatable.
Probably because none of the cartoons are made for them. Disney has admitted that they've completely ignored the Gen Z and Alpha audience and let creators make animated therapy sessions. I'm a zoomer (and before you say I'm too young for this site, keep in mind some of Gen Z is nearly 30), and the only cartoons I remember fondly are Avatar, pre-movie SpongeBob, and reruns of 90s cartoons. Most zoomers and Gen Alpha kids are watching anime because even the most generic isekai is more appealing than the therapy sessions starring non-binary mixed-race children that populate western animation. My IRL experiences have shown me that no cool zoomers watch animation, or remember animated shows from their childhood with any fondness at all
I hope to be shown that I’m wrong, but it looks like things have selected for the freaks, exclusively
Carve that shit on my tombstone. Amen."Except when women pitch--"
Stopped reading right there. Shut the fuck up, stupid bitch, and better your story pitch.
Learn filmmaking before you come to market as a filmmaker? Clearly a problematic concept from a far less enlightened time. Also censoring "Birth of a Nation" goes to show she has no respect for filmmaking. I hope she seethed and pissed herself in rage at college when she was learning about it in film history.
I see, kekProbably because none of the cartoons are made for them. Disney has admitted that they've completely ignored the Gen Z and Alpha audience and let creators make animated therapy sessions.
The earliest Zoomers (90s babies born in the late 90s) will be pushing their 30s in the late 2020s (only in a few years left) which is barely surprising.I'm a zoomer (and before you say I'm too young for this site, keep in mind some of Gen Z is nearly 30),
Based. Older cartoons were always betterand the only cartoons I remember fondly are Avatar, pre-movie SpongeBob, and reruns of 90s cartoons.
True. But for some reason, most zoomers (most specifically the normie broccoli hair mumble rap fans) I know are more into shounen/action over moe/slice of life for some reason (due to the fact they are just hoodweebs like casual niggers), which is pretty decent for being the most japtoon-consuming generation today. But I still get your pointMost zoomers and Gen Alpha kids are watching anime because even the most generic isekai is more appealing than the therapy sessions starring non-binary mixed-race children that populate western animation.
Idc if it’s indie or corporate. It better be kino instead of slopInterest in animation isn't completely dead. When the rare, actually good movie occasionally slips through, people come to support it.
Those movies weren’t complete shit but they were still kinda midThe Last Wish and K-pop Demon Hunters saw success because the teams behind them made something that appeals to kids.
Good. Thank god for zoomers fr no capCartoonists in the industry scoffed at the statement that Disney has failed to appeal to Gen Z, only to turn around and complain that things like the Owl House are taken off the air because the target audience wasn't watching.
Mid is honestly good enough for most movies. Great is great of course but we aren't always up for great cinematic experiences. Most of the time something fun and breezy to will do just fine, even be more what you are looking for. Movies, tv, books, comics and video games are something we do to relax and recharge. Having something highly engaging and thoughtful can be too much. Those movies weren’t complete shit but they were still kinda mid
Because action fits better with their shot attention span lmao. Slice-of-life is "too slow" for those types, though if they're exposed to more and more anime, they may still come across SOL-lite episodes in shounen (they're out there) that may help them dip their toes into SOL shows.True. moe/slice of life
