Yeah, thats for the old niggas. I think what little shorts I've seen were charming, but they were as old as like 1932 (maybe that's when Bimbo's Initiation came out, I liked that one). People really know of these Golden Age characters from merch than anything, not helped with how little actual exposure kids get to them.
Yeah, but not that old, in the 90’s she saw a little bit of revived popularity that took the form of incredibly cheap clothing and jewelry. There’s serious American pop culture collectors and the Smithsonian but they want actual antiques. So by old niggas, it’s for your Great Aunt who probably doesn’t want to remember that part of her life
Disney had secured an exclusive multi-year contract with Technicolor for their three-strip color process for their film, so Fleischer had to use a two-strip color process that made everything very red and green. The whole short is aggressively red and green:
This poor bastard even gets green teeth!

There's alot of stuff to criticise about this cartoon like th pacing but it does something nothing made by glitch ever did
It feels like a cartoon, as a kid I watched so much French cartoons and this would fit right in, just two characters doing funny bits no therapy session needed
