Of the "Bunch of guys talking pop culture and internet drama" genre of podcasting The Official Podcast is very solid. If they have a good guest or an interesting topic I give it a listen generally once a month or less.

His videos today are 99% half asssed reaction videos, I can genuinely say I enjoy the retirement era Pewdiepie videos more, the recent one where he just showed off random Japanese arcade games was fun for me because I'm just a dork gamer who is fascinated by those weird games. I think I'd have fun sipping a beer and playing that stupid horseracing gambling machine.

But I digress I don't think he's a lolcow because he's not stupid enough to really give the internet enough dirty laundry. Frankly if I won the jackpot and made mad money doing the bare minimum well I'd be no different than Charlie. Well maybe I'd lift some damn weights because the guy looks like skin and bones.

Use a browser extension like BlockTube to permanently get rid of specific channels or videos in your recommendations

The Official Podcast is basically carried entirely by Jackson and Andrew, since they are the only two who usually try to engage their guests with interesting questions. Charlie is usually so quiet during those that I forget he's even in them while Kaya is an annoying faggot with zero self-awareness who needs to keep his mouth shut more.

For sure, I actually find Kaya to be pretty funny he comes off as an autist who would post here. Of course again I'm a very casual listener so none of them can make enough of an impression to annoy me.
These types of podcasts are just perfect when doing tedious paperwork or playing a slow paced video game.
 
For someone who hates twitter and reddit, Charlie really likes to use what’s trending over there for his videos. At this point he’s pretty much just a drama aggregator with the safest, most mainstream opinions of everything. Either he’s covering drama or he’s uploading twitch highlights that’ve already been reuploaded by the dozens of his stream reupload channels days earlier.

He does some stuff other than that like the moist meter and his podcast, but those are all inbetween 7-8 videos of talking about some crypto scam or him watching police chases on stream. At least he cut it out with uploading reaction clips of him to his main page after DarkViper called him out. I swear for a few months leading up to DV calling him out, half of Charlie’s videos were him watching Sunnyv2 and Tuv on stream, adding almost nothing other than the occasional “wow holy shit”

...Really nigga? I'm not watching the rest of this shit but that's it? Something that's already been a thing for a few years now? Like yea it's retarded of YouTube to do it but who fucking cares, just censor the first bit of your video and you'll get your six-seven figures a year for sitting on your ass and playing games/reacting to bullshit on the Internet, go tell all the wagies making jack shit standing on their feet all day at retail and fast food jobs how hard you have it. I've been watching YouTube since 2006 and all these years I thought it was cool that you could make good money doing it and was happy for a lot of them, but considering how many YouTubers have become such whiny entitled cunts once the money and ego goes to their head I say fuck it and just force all these faggots to get a real job. Why is he even complaining anyway? He makes millions a year from YouTube and Twitch combined and has enough money to retire and live off of investments, why doesn't he just call up his butt buddy Ludwig who's in Susan's pocket to give him special treatment too?

Most youtubers have a massive victim complex where they think everything that happens to them is some form of sleight
against them personally, its honestly one of the worst parts of modern youtube alongside constant shilling and retarded censorship. Personally my favorite crime many of these youtubers claim to be victim to is the age old "youtube is unsubscribing my subscribers!" this is something that has literally never been proven to happen at all, hell i think even during the time frame where youtube was outright trying to kill off leafy's channel they never unsubbed people from him, its a total and utter lie that gets passed around by everyone to drum up more subs.

I like to think youtube gives creators access to subbed vs unsubbed viewer statistics just to give them a massive blow to their ego, it must be earth shattering to know 90% of the people who watch your videos don't even subscribe to you.

Youtube content would be better if they got rid of ads entirely (and also went back to 2015 or earlier TOS implementation/fixed their broken copyright system that allows people to copyright strike stuff without needing to prove it's even theirs) .

I want to see content made by people who are passionate about what they are making not about getting money out of it and schizos.

This would mean YouTube is no longer a place to build a career/income but it would still work as a platform for artists and creatives to get their start and build an audience.

The rise of these no-energy commentary channels like prenguinz0 is the end result of banning anything edgy and people only putting out videos to try to get money from ad views. Everything is so dull now.

I don't think Charlie is "passionate" about any of this he just knows 'trending topic = views' and 'boring middle of the road take = monetizable'.

Copyright is already a very complicated system for massive corporations and youtube can't hope to have a effective system in place that is fair, so youtube plays it safe and will always initially rule in the owners favor, because if they don't they could get a massive lawsuit on their hands, so it isn't "Broken" really as much as its the best they can do within the law. Can youtube do more to verify rights holders? Yeah they can, but the system would still stay the same except you are sure the person striking you is the actual rights owner.

I don't know why everyone's MATI at him in this thread, so far I've seen people seething over him laughing at anti-maskers and playing among us with AOC. Just because he doesn't align with your extreme republiQan views doesn't make him a lolcow.

The comparisons to Ethan Klein are also false, I was unfortunate enough to watch him do a 180° from "that goofy guy who collabed with filthy frank" to insufferable idiot with a giant ego in real time. Mr Beast is perhaps a better comparison, because he and Cr1tikal found the "golden formula" to churn out mass-produced videos to keep their underage fanbase satisfied.

At least if you're trying to force a lolcow out of him, post the twitch clip of the time when he was screaming at a bing bing wahoo game and his girlfriend came in and told him to shut up and he did until the end of the stream like a good cuck, or the other moments when his girlfriend bosses him around and treats him like a subordinate in the relationship.
