I see what you’re saying. But, I truly believe we actually hit the tranny acceptance amplitude point in the pendulum probably in 2022-23 and are swinging back. There was at least 1 major media overhaul which was Elon Musk buying Twitter. That was a game changer imo.

Three points of evidence - the Hogwarts Legacy boycott totally failed, much to the shock of troons. Point 2, there was just … No pride month this year. It had zero energy to it. And 3, The Budweiser boycott/Dylan Mulvaney. There are probably more but these things all happened after Twitter “transitioned” into X. They all constituted a major blow to tranny confidence, all just happened within the last year or so, and are really only the beginning.

The amplitude of a movement and even for a while after it starts swinging back, will still feel like that movement is ubiquitous. Especially in some circles. It will be harder to root this out of tech and games because, for reasons I don’t fully understand other than “terminally online”, these sectors are infested with eunuchs. In defense of Charlie, it's safe to say that after the Dr. Disrespect incident and others like it, it's more controversial to say that a 16-17 year old in America is not a literal child than it is to say that prepubescent children can get on puberty blockers. One invokes more outrage than others in drama spheres. People will talk about Charlie's opinion on Twitter but the discussion will not be long lasting or career ending. No company will drop Charlie over what he said because of how liberal most companies are.

Edit: I'd also like to add just how fake and brand friendly Charlie's perspective is. If the age that American society decided was an adult was 20, Charlie would argue that anyone below 20 is a child. If the society considered children transitioning to be completely abhorrent like it did 50 years ago, Charlie would not be arguing for this. These redditors think any belief system we have today is updated and good, and anything people believed before is backwards and bad.
