Charlie lost it because he's a coombrained faggot who has never questioned his own morals in his entire life (he's 30 y/o in two days), his whole career is being a "safe youtube" fence sitter. As retarded as Sneako is, at least he has been active on playing around with controversial subjects, Charlie did the most retarded thing you can do in a online debate: Didn't leave his pseudo morals at the door. As I mentioned, he's coombrained, so he had the following things in his head:
  1. Marriage = Immediate fucking/rape, not as it is an arrangement (like in India and other parts in Asia) when they become an adult. That is also a legally binding agreement.
  2. Puberty blockers = medicine/treatment, not as a sterilization chemical.
  3. Age gap = automatic trauma and only exploitative, same age = less trauma and not as exploitative.
  4. Neglects female & male social and biological differences (sees modern dating and feminism as an overall improvement and troonery as legit)
Sneako just made Charlie dance like a monkey with him trying to explain these things, because he thinks these things are universal truths, that we live in a more "enlightened era" when it comes to relationships and lifestyles. He thinks that the historical context can be neglected due to technology and be a full degenerate (like Destiny/Steven Bonnell). Sneako, as dumb as he is knows that none of these things are true, and that's why Charlie got fucked.

Charlie lost because he's actually more retarded than a online bait mutt.

I don’t really expect this to hurt him in the long run, his YouTube content has gone downhill and he was the weakest link of the podcast, but he’s at least smart enough to diversify what he’s doing so he’s not solely reliant on YouTube and streaming.
His daily videos are lazy slop but he’s put work into other revenues.

I genuinely don't know anything about the guy besides hearing other people say his name, so I don't have an opinion on him right now. Your review does not fill me with hope though.
 
I hope nobody forgives charlie for giving sneako such an easy win. All he had to say was "no, kids shouldnt be allowed to make such a drastic decision until they are 18" Hell, most progressives/liberals, outside of the pink pill Schutzstaffel, hold those same beliefs. The problem with people like charlie and that little weasel Ludwig; they cant be bothered to take a stand on ANYTHING for that matter. Even more so, when they are pressed on their beliefs in a face/face forum; their knees buckle every. single. time. Not quite the polymath they hold themselves to be when they dont have half a day for a team to produce a YT clapback on a singular issue.

Their entire ethos is min/maxing every single demographic that can be bothered to donate/like/subscribe, nothing more. If they want to make their money by making shitty YT videos for kids, so be it. So what did we all learn from this? Maybe once your so big you think there can be no way to fall down. Let's say you do fall down, if it's never happened before it's going to hurt. Now you can buckle yourself and get back up and continue to be big or you can cry out on the floor for all to see.
People mess up and give bad takes on the Internet all the time. It's how you handle yourself afterwards that will affect how people continue to perceive you. Being a large creator with no real controversy to speak of before will have some wish for your downfall. While a stupid comment regardless it isn't one that could be partially walked back and spun with the right rhetoric. His mistake was talking about children without side stepping kids all together. Similar to how Trump, during his debate with Biden, sidestepped abortion/Roe vs. Wade by stating his position on state's rights. If Charlie were to rephrase what he said as a position on parental rights it would be saying the same thing without explicitly saying he thinks kids should be able to take transitional cocktails. He is still going to eat crow for a while but admitting he spoke about something he didn't understand and then rephrasing the context to side step issue would go a long way to getting his audience to move on. Falling on his sword by quitting his group projects will only increase the Streisand Effect of this fiasco.

His mistake was agreeing to this debate at all. Charlie has millions of subscribers. What on earth would possess him to do a livestream with a guy like Sneako? He's a fucking millionaire and Sneako is a cucko loser. You know what I do if I have millions of people watching me? The moment "age of consent" comes up, I shut off my Livestream. I shut off my computer, and I say go hang yourself to whomever brought it up. If I'm a top billing YouTuber, I don't keep filming. I cut the camera and walk off. I'm not even going to respond to that question or conversation. Charlie didn't need to do this. He could've walked away or cut the stream short. He should know poison when he sees it by now.
