so a year ago he talked to sneako about the cuties stuff . in that video he said sneako was not as crazy as i thought . that whole video is basically just him saying how cuties is bad and sneako shouldn't be defending it and ended up getting over 10 mil views .
fast-forward a year later and he sees sneako wants to talk to him about his take on the age of consent . so he probably thought he could capitalize over this like last time by doing the same thing by simply saying age of consent is 18 and anything below that is bad but this time sneako actually challenged him on other stuff which led to him saying the most retarded thing he could . this man could have avoided everything if he simply did any of the following . not interacting with sneako . not underestimating him . saying literally anything else or not saying anything at all . cant say much besides this man deserves all of this for being this retarded.

My bad, let me rephrase that.

Charlie, the head chief of Virtue Signalling in the YouTube drama commentary community, had to hold an opinion that was his own (agreeing to the consensus of the side that will keep him moneytized) while it opposed the opinion of the side that kept him relevant.

Remember when he actually made funny content, like his cartoon dubs, infomercials and prank calls? This is all that remains. He's dealing with drama full time now. And he did say he loves this shit and is addicted to it like it's crack cocaine. Shame that the bulletproof armor of eternal fence sitting could only keep him up for so long.

This is nothing but speculation, but I get the feeling this triggered something 'Behind the Scenes';

-Either IRL family or friends confronting him about it, or something (IIRC, He still lives in Florida. Not exactly a progressive state).

-Maybe he's got a few skeletons in his closet he doesn't want to get out and this might be hitting too close for comfort.

-Or maybe it's just a really fragile Ego (Years ago, before he was big, I heard through the grapevine that he was very asshole-ish and fragile and 'overcompensated' quite a bit)

The only reason I would even say this is because I doubt that this generally lukewarm take (compared to some other controversies) would be enough to force him to take a break, considering that I'm sure a large portion of his chronically online fanbase probably agrees with him and would probably defend him.

He's only quitting his podcasts, not his regular YouTube uploads. His cohosts confirmed as much.

Who didn't know this already? People like Charlie are scared of being wrong, or ostracized, or having to defend himself in any way. He is one of those people who wants to blend in and conform. Being intelligent or learning things does not interest him as much as being accepted by the status quo. People like this never allow themselves to develop hot takes, because that's antithetical to their plan for continued existence (don't make anyone mad at me.) If you aren't sure what I'm schizobabbling about, just study some of the people who post here for a while.

I think you're looking into things a little too hard with the first one.

It's most definitely #3. If anything, it actually seems to be the norm for people on the internet who make drama/criticism videos to be wholly incapable of being on the receiving end of the kind of content they create on other people.

As someone who just spouts out the popular opinion and obvious responses, he's used to getting an overwhelmingly positive reaction to everything he does. This situation is the polar opposite of what he's accustomed to, and it's taken him completely out of his element, and he hates it. The fact that it was Sneako (who's more or less mainly known for being a creepy pedo at this point) of all people that was the catalyst, especially off the heels of the Ava Kris Tyson video, where Charlie went on a tirade about how retarded Sneako is, certainly doesn't help matters.

I get that troons crave validation for their psychosis and doubly so for parasocial fans, but it still kind of surprises me that with "dysphoria" being their justification for "Gender Affirming Care" I'm honestly kind of surprised that Mr. Charles White hasn't gotten any visible blowback from the troon community for saying; "Choosing gender is like choosing a sport."

I mean, isn't that the kind of "chud" logic their critics use equating it to a fad or fashion trend?
