With how penguinz0 Handled this situation and how much of a fence sitter he is I'm lead to speculate this to him was a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. He probably feared leaning one way on the troon question would result in the other side turning against him. Sneako forced him to awnser the troon question and it backed him into a corner he could not get out of


He probably went pro-troon this time around because with him being a big ass youtuber he probably went with what the Global Homo executives would want him to say, which is Trannies r cool

He's well-known for his milquetoast critiques and on subjects that have already been talked about to death, where any potential backlash would have been given to the people discussing the subject before him - meaning he can safely see what subjects are contentious, and how he would be able to avoid rocking the boat. Charlie is a "safe edgelord" who throws in the occasional "fuck" or "shit" to seem more relatable. Actually being able to debate his point and deal with criticism isn't in the roster for him.

Maybe he thought that transing kids is a popular opinion outside of the circles he usually runs in, I don't know. But Charlie vastly underestimated how much flak he would be getting for that view, anyhow. Transing kids is publicly not popular (otherwise why would the pro-trans movement spend $$$ on trying to convince people) and most rational people would recoil at giving an 8-year old cross-sex hormones or invasive surgery.

Charlie lived and thrived on commenting on other's failures, and now is getting eaten by his own for his own failure. It's actually quite poetic.

This "yall take sides" bullshit is so annoying. I didn't take the pro pedophilia side because I think Charlie was wrong; I just think both are wrong. In fact, I don't even think charlie is as wrong because I know he was regurgitating horrible "progressive" talking points that he thought was the good guy's answer. He has no idea what transitioning children entails, and as I said before, he should have just said that.

There is nothing wrong, stalker child. There is no reason why for some reason, Charlie would play the most mundane game off stream because HE CHOSE TO.

god, why are you people so obsessed with him? can’t somebody play a game off stream after getting assblasted by having a horrible take?

I cannot believe his audience saying "he has a passing resemblance to some celebrities" was enough for this guy to think he was on top of the world. Narcissism? Imo probably not. Idiocy? Probably.
"Wow, I'm internet famous and he's actually famous and we look like each other if you squint hard enough, I guess I'm mostly immune to criticism like he is on the internet." Then it backfired and whoops, looks like he wasn't actually immune to anything, he was just saying the same things everyone else did and it gave him a sense of superiority. If you're just playing games or making funny videos, that's fine, but don't pretend to be a commentator and then run away when people find out that your points are really bad.

If he had done this debate a couple years ago then it would be asspats all around for "supporting trans rights". The fact that this is happening, especially during the ongoing Kris Tyson situation, shows that people are getting sick of the whole "trans kid" movement. No idea why this guy thought it'd be a great position to hold when there's already a couple AGPs in the spotlight for their kiddy-diddling crimes.

Without critikal the Podcast is literally just nobodies talking about masturbation instead of nobodies and a youtube Star talking about masturbation. Like, literally, every single time i tried to check it out it was just burned out sounding guys talking about masturbation!

Critikal is probably extremly obsessive over his social media presence because he clearly used to be an absolute weirdo before he made it big. He also runs some kind of pseudo Union for youtubers called human entertainment that nobody ever Talks about and is clearly pretty good in the influencer-meta game. Ironically it's that mindset which is probably totally fucking him mentally now because frankly, he just fucked up. My bet is that he will come up with some 5D big brain Masterplan to save his Brand which will make things even worse for him anyway because this is what always happens.

I liked his deadpan LP's tho....

As someone who was in here before the features, and knew about Charlie back when he was the funny faceless man who made commentary videos about obscure video games, I saw this outcome from ways away. He pushed the drama shit too far and flew too close to the sun. He has always been more mentally fragile than the average creator of his size, and got used to getting his ego boosted constantly. In many ways, like others have said, he's like Boogie circa 2015-2016. The beloved fence-sitter that rightfully calls out things he thinks are objectively wrong. That image has been destroyed, and theres no way he can spin it to paint himself in a better light. This will be brought up every time he involves himself in any kind of bloodsports or drama.
