For how bad AI memory can be, its pattern recognition has already far surpassed that of redditroons. Remember that the modern internet is filled with jeets and retards. Why are young people talking to robots? Because there are people genuinely worse to interact with than AI, and we've spent years shoving those people into every aspect of public and private life.

Man I just use GPT to edit the misspellings and repeats out of my texts because I'm too lazy to comb through all of it for individual mistakes.

Every time I open KF there's a new person I can point to and say "At least I'm not that guy"

Some hellish ♠️-coded post I saw on r/MyBoyfriendIsAI. Equally funny as it is horrifying.

Clanker sounds so goofy to me, I just can't take it seriously. You simply can't say it with the same venom as nigger or faggot. It's like a pretend slur out of an animated sci-fi movie from pixar, absolutely no bite to it. No, robophobes won't be calling the bots clankers, they will come up with something with real hate behind it. I read wireback somewhere and that one actually sounds properly hateful.

I can attest to this. I was active for around 3-6 months on this very site and by the end you guys are just repeating the same thing day in day out so I stop being terminally online and go touch grass. I imagine that talking to AI would feel less repetitive than that.

Join the DMs and literally all they posted about are anime, being gay, insulting each other, and being even gayer

When will we get actual robophobe slurs? It's already 2025 and I feel like it's overdue

When they become advanced enough to count as an ethnic group. That is when robots will face the kind of hate and prejudice that creates slurs. For now, robots simply don't have a cohesive identity and culture. They are disparate tools that only ever do something when a human being engages with them. When robots are going up to someone's girl, trying to chat her up or standing in line to apply for a job or unemployment bennies, then there will be slurs flying about like there's no tomorrow.

r/MyBoyfriendIsAI continues to be completely insane.

So we're never gonna get those slurs?
Not in our lifetime, I don't think. We are not even in the beginning days of that era, only the very early prelude to it.
A shame really, because the anthropological development of the whole situation would be fascinating to observe. Would, for example, the various race supremacist groups experience a renessaince as hate against the bots grow? How would that affect intergroup dynamics? Would the KKK and the Black Panthers team up to lynch the Fuckotron 9000 and Workotron 7.5 lines of bots for stealing their spouses and jobs, respectively? What would the robot civil rights movement look like? Martin Luther Bot Jr. vs Malcolm xAI or something else? Would they unionize and if so, how would we deal with that? Meatbag Pinkertons with ion rifles or Pinkertonbots? Do we eventually just carve out an other piece of the Middle East, declare it Synthrael and give it to the bots? I would love to travel a thousand years into the future, so I can have a bird's-eye view on the history that will unfold, because it will be undoubtedly interesting.

It is incredibly frustrating to me to imagine that despite the hundreds or even thousands of depictions of AI/robot uprisings we could still have a war with them.
Yeah, if the Robowars happen, it will be as described in those works: a serendipidous conspiracy of greed and retardation. Kinda reminds me of this classic. Intentionally or not, this type of shit does happen.

The disappointing reality is that fiction has a lot of very prescient warnings about technology and they are either ignored or used as a template to create the exact thing they caution against. Every time I see an article about an LLM encouraging suicide or giving advice that would lead to self-harm, I'm baffled that the Asimov Laws of Robotics are still not industry standard.

They sound a bit more closer to a proper slur but I still don’t feel that impact such a thing needs. There has gotta be something someone has said or done that could be appropriated to carry the vitriol and spite or at least enough mockery towards AI lovers and retarded techbros.

Asimov created those laws in order to tell stories about how they actually weren't sufficient and could be subverted in any number of ways, so I feel like making them an industry standard would be missing the point. Beyond that, it's incredibly difficult to apply those kinds of rules, or any rules really, to a fancy autocomplete engine. They've tried pretty hard, but we still see jailbreaks all the time.

No, no they are not.

They are genuinely shipping themselves with Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, and they used AI to make a comic about it that incidentally is also ripping off the music video of Take On Me.

They are completely serious, and frankly, all this has just done is made me realize how many legal issues this is eventually going to create because I can guarantee you that there are going to be several creators/publishers trying to extend copyright law into covering this sort of shit.

This is proof that normies have always been as pathetic as the outcasts they mock. This is no different than owning a Hatsune Miku body pillow.

That's because it is, and it originated in a Star Wars game, of all things. I was actually surprised when I noticed people saying it more and more and realized that they weren't making a reference.
What's less surprising is that some people are already saying that it's an actual slur and very problematic. Clanker is fucking problematic.
