Fiona I kind of get being obfuscated, but kind of don't. The Wallflower isn't, it takes 5 seconds of googling- but I found the attempt to make a Wallflower 2.0 to be almost autistic memery.

The reason Fiona was originally obfuscated, from what I gathered in my brief time as a CWCki Discord mod, was to protect her from harassment; because she basically entered Christory as a (relatively) innocent bystander literally 2 weeks before shit went down. People forget that she didn't even interact with Chris until July 19, and that at the time of the incest leaks we basically still knew jack shit about her. IMO, given the incredibly exceptional circumstances, it was a good move.
It's one of my pet peeves with this place. Users love to simp over people that get in the orbit of cows, especially women. Those who hang around horrible people are likely bad people themselves. Chris was a known shitty person before all that. Even after the motherfucking people are still tryingto protect flutter's "innocence"
My guess would be translating the series into other languages. I do believe episode one is in Spanish already.

Thanks to his unique position, Geno may be the exception to this. It's somewhere in this thread, but someone said that Geno is a man who looked without touching, only to have what he was looking at reach out and touch him instead. That's always stuck with me.

"Suitress" was used because the Suitress Policy ruled out using her screennames. This line was in an early version of it: "Nevertheless, making any reference to her identity, which includes the usage of her screennames, will result in a permanent ban." Also, IIRC, the Policy was something conceived of by one editor. Two other editors opposed it, but were persuaded to roll with it. I didn't like it, but didn't want to unilaterally strike it down, so I negotiated down some points of it (like easing the ban language, and lifting the screenname restriction eventually). Later there was another discussion on it and editors agreed to remove the whole policy.
There was definitely some autism around it. I can remember in the Mean Girls there were 2 people who seemed to have some personal connection with Snoo from the CwC discord, but yeah. I think it was honestly part personal involvement, personal connection, and Id lean towards ego on creating the nickname, honestly.
