Also, you really think Chris would linger on Barb's death short of a single post and never bringing it up again? She got him tossed in jail, Barb is dead to Chris because she let him sit in jail for plundering her holes. No shopping trip to Walmart is going to fix that.

Could be, Considering that he seems to be giving barb a cold shoulder every time someone mentioned Barb, but then again something tells me that he probably already realized that Barb was quiet of a shitty Parent and the main reason on how he acts the way he is right now, and now he's just trying to Ignore her as much as possible.

Barb's death really holds no importance to Chris, he already believes in his own version of the afterlife and already has a Rosechu body for Barb to inhabit the moment she finally passes. He sees no reason why he should worry about it. He might even now love the imaginary version of his mother more than the real thing.

He is just in a headspace beyond our comprehension, because only Chris understands it and he is very comfortable in it.
