Seems legit .....

Here's the article:

And "Chris'" response.....

I didn't post this to the Updates section since I didn't deem it particularly noteworthy / newsworthy (being obvious weenery and all).

yeah, I think shutupman admitted he posted a similar message about the mcdonalds. it's trolling.

Yeah, this is obviously not the TRUE and HONEST Christian Weston Chandler.

Nah, Chris wouldn't say GAS IS EXPENSIVE and FIRED FROM LIFE again, those were one hit wonders.

Funny reply, obviously culled from Chris' own words, but it's a little too... trollish. Besides, would he really use "chrischan.sonichu" as a username anymore?

God yes. He'd include his phone number and favorite Pokemon if there wasn't a character limit.

Chris would have mentioned not being able to go to the women's bathroom on his fb rant, he's not the kind of person that would hide all of the details when angered.
This looks more like a copy/paste.

chris already made his "public" decree against walmart on his facebook. therefore, all parties involved and any other walmart shopper is sure to know of his plight.

Every time Chris mentions "Bodily Fluids" I keep thinking to myself "Chris, PLEASE stop talking about semen."

Fake, but the reply is pretty funny.

Too many CWCism's 'Greatest Hits,' here to be TRUE and HONEST. I'm sorry my dear Thetan but I believe you have purchased a ticket to a :ruse: this time.

:sighduck:

The reply is the best part. Love seeing innocent passers-by's confused reactions to OPL's insanity (even if it's just regurgitated by a ween)!!

Actually, my "seems legit" was me being facetious, which is why I followed it with the rolling eyes emoticon. I also enclosed Chris in parenthesis in the post title, to indicate that I didn't believe this was the true and honest CWC. I was actually unsure of the value of posting it, since it was obvious weenery. Still, I thought it might merit some discussion, so I went ahead.

Most of "Chris'" post looks like it was taken verbatim from his September Facebook rant.

I share everyone's opinion: not CWC, but still pretty funny, especially the other guy's reaction.

Oh I know, really, I just wanted an excuse to use at least one of the new emoticons in a post.

I went to the original article and kept opening up new replies but got about '16 hours ago' in and didn't see it, so I'm wondering how this blipped up on your e-meter of CWC-ingrams in the first place? Facebook link or just reading about how mean Walmart is and you hit the :ween: lottery this time?

I'm a regular reader of the Huffington Post, which is owned by AOL. The story was linked there. It caught my attention for obvious reasons. I was actually scanning through the comments looking to see if some ween had found it. Nothing particularly clever or insightful on my part. I was simply operating under the premise that weens are gonna ween. :)

Needless to say, all this kinds of things gives Chris much more national exposure.

(count how many grammatical errors I just naturally made)
