Chris has been radio silent on his socials for a while now.
He has not uploaded to his Instagram for ages (https://www.instagram.com/kiwichrisinaus/) with his post numbers being static at 252 for a while now. Previously he posted daily.
Further to this, his last post on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/chris.mccarty.357) was on 15th February 2021.

After a quick Google Search I found he had an apprerance at the Brisbane Magistrate Court on April 21st. I'm not sure what for but he was on probation so he may have breached this and contacted someone he wasn't meant to. That or a new complaint was made. I assume he is now somewhere where he has no internet access e.g. an institution of some kind.

Chris thinks vaccines cause autism and has discussed several times wanting to go after the NZ government for vaccinating him as a child. He thinks it caused his autism and that it's their fault his life as it is.

He also really dislikes women in power, medical specialists (especially female ones) and really hates being told he needs help even though the guy clearly does.

I'd be interested to know which jail he was sent to and how you got this information? Just for reference sake. I'm not questioning the validity of your claim, i'd just be interested to know.

Looks like he has another hearing on 02/06/2021 and may have been unable to post bail from his April 21st hearing and is being held? That or he was denied bail given his history.

I was wondering when this trainwreck would get a thread. He's one of those people who touch a hot stove, get burned, and think the problem is that they didn't slam their fist into the burner hard enough.

My favorite tidbit of Chris's history was the "threat bet." As you outlined, Chris is quite prone to death threats, and so a wager was held (in Chris's favor, mind you) that he would get around $100 after a month, but would lose $10 dollars from it every time he sent a death threat to somebody. If I remember correctly, he lost $10 for sending a rape threat within two weeks and another $10 for a death threat immediately afterwards.

He was rewarded with $80 regardless. Chris became upset for losing out on $20 and complained, noting his rape and death threats were justified because he didn't like the women he threatened, and he apparently begun crying as a result.

It’s not really a powerlevel - I am social media ‘friends‘ with someone working in a relevant job in Brisbane. Apparently McCarty is well known around town, especially for making gross (but not yet illegal) attempts to hit on young women waiting at bus stations etc.

Does he have a ham radio license? I've heard of ham radio lolcows in the US, that N9OGL guy whose realname I can't recall atm, Karol Madera VE7KFM (ok, technically a Canuck, but an honorary US hamcow since most of his sperging was beamed south), and a few others who aren't really known outside of ham circles such as Glenn Baxter K1MAN (fucking dead as of 2019 IIRC).

But I assume you're talking Australia's equivalent of CB, does CB need a license in Oz? The FCC gave up on regulating CB in the mid 70s when the Trucker Hero craze gained traction and everybody bought a Korean-made Realistic Navaho and got on the air without bothering to file for a license. Today US CB is pretty much fucking dead although sometimes a posse of truckers will get bored and shitpost for a while, especially on the really boring routes like Interstate 5 north of the Grapevine which is pancake flat from the California 99 split to Redding with only two medium size cities (Stockton and Sacramento) in between.

I can't imagine somebody having $10k worth of radio stuff unless they're a collector of old tube rigs. Not even the kilowatt blasterfags that pop up on CB here every so often have that much money into it.
