I don't know if it's Trump or a case of I HATE THE RIGHT, WAH, him being pissed off Trump won the elections, or him just hating conservatives and using the underpinning of "I'm helping people avoid scams" to make content screaming about them.

I remember him speaking about some or other coin related to the Trumps before he was sworn in and him stating that he didn't want to make his content political. I respected that stance because he isn't a political creator and everyone can get fucked over by scams or make stupid financial decisions. Not really any word about anything related to politics since.

And then Trump wins the election and voidzilla (his second channel) releases:

1. trump memecoin is insane
2. i hate my life (about a Melania coin based on the thumbnail, I myself did not watch)
3. embracing the void (essentially about a Trump orbiter launching a coin in the name of God)
4. "who could've seen this coming" (again, did not watch but some comments mention Trump so it's related)
5. tate brothers released despite crimes (has at least covered the Tates before though this is now Trump-adjacent)
6. how is this legal? (as seen above)
7. podcasting from prison (about SBF getting interviewed from prison, who he's covered before, but Tucker now makes this politics-adjacent)

That's seven videos in the span of one month about or related to American politics.

I think of all of them, the Sam video really underlines how this recent turn has nothing to do with raising awareness or preventing good people from getting harmed or keeping people informed about the space.

Sam can't scam people in prison. One interview with Tucker Carlson is not going to take more money from any victims. Tucker interviewing this man should, in theory, hold no water on what lawfully happens to Sam at this point. And if it does, the discussion shouldn't be "oh no, why can't the sensationalist journalist not stop sensationalizing" because he won't and should be "oh fuck, what the fuck is up with your legal system?"

Learned about it right here on KF that a guy committed Russian Roulette suicide whilst pumping crypto this year. Digging into that and reporting on it would be a great way to showcase the lengths people might go when faced with the negatives of the space (assuming losing money in crypto was part of the reason he offed himself) but Coffee's dedicated voidzilla video on the subject never came.

Also I doubt Melania, a 60 year old woman, even knows what crypto is or uses twitter herself. Someone probably said "hey we're doing a commemorative coin in your name" and at most she said just kind of nodded. It's just another shitcoin, think of it as a digital version of a plastic coin you find on the ground or something, trying to pretend its a big scandal seems forced.

It's impossible to care about most of the recent stories he covered because crypto has been firmly established as being high-risk/basically gambling. I cannot muster the energy to feel bad for someone if they lose money in crypto.

If it was elderly people being scammed I could see caring but recently most of the stories he's covered all the victims are smug retards who thought they'd get rich buying a meme coin then didnt. Yet, the SEC been going after small businesses, and small tech company like Odysee for using there own crypto currency for years and never go after real scammers. As someone who was a victim of crypto scam myself with Vbit who offer Bitcoin cloud mining and took all of my boomer family money, the SEC doesn't do fucking shit when it come to scammer. I even reported multiply number of times years ago and kept reporting to them when Biden was president. Yet, they never responded and don't do jack shit.
