Ethan Van Sciver is anti SJW shithead who acts like a whiny crybaby. And its a shame since I have to see his name in the credits of DC Super Hero Girls (due to him being involved in the creation of Jessica Cruz)
I didn't know my name was in the credits of DC Super Hero Girls! Rad!

Oh, and fuck you! :)

From what I've read it looks like AT&T wants DC to take a more "manga" like approach to how they publish.

The idea seems to be digital first will be the focus with the stories later collected into volumes to be sold in bookstores/amazon/walmart.

Ofcourse I've also read the publishing line will stay but be trimmed down to just the big leaguers that actually make money. * The Trinity and Justice League *.

TBH I don't see this as culture wars/covid killing an industry rather the ongoing death of the periodical magazine claiming more victims.

Video games are drowning in culture war idiocy and are more popular than ever and manga still selling well pokes a giant hole in the argument that people are simply not interested in comics.

LONESTAR 3: THE SOUL OF THE SMILLER
You'd be forgiven for missing the fact that several days ago Mike S Miller launched the third installment of his Lonestar series since it appears that many others missed it as well. The book features the titular hero Lonestar continuing his battle against the vampiric vagabond Svarog and the undead army of useful idiots he has amassed to menace our dashing hero. The third and final book in the Lonestar trilogy "Mind of the Monster" explores the satanic socialists origins in 12th century Rus, before returning to the present day for the ultimate face-off between himself and Lonestar. The book features 48 pages of story and includes several variant covers from legendary Korean animator and cartoonist Kim Jung Gi, Paolo Pantalena and Khari Evans. The Kim Jung Gi cover also features colors from Comicsgate everyman Kelsey Shannon. Unfortunately despite enlisting the talented Kim with a following of 1.3 million on instagram, Paolo Pantalena with 125K followers, former DC artist Khari Evans and the gesture of goodwill from Comicsgate associate Kelsey Shannon, the slayer of the undead comic appears to be dead on arrival, currently raising just under $12K from 187 backers on its third day of funding.

While the book has funded and could be argued is already a success, compared to previous titles it is so unloved that even backerkit appears to spit it back out with a 404 error.

The tragic story of Mike S Miller and Lonestar's fall from grace truly is a somber one since it could be compared to Jon Malin's Graveyard Shift, as both series improved both by backers and monetarily over time. In fact Graveyard Shift 3 by Jon Malin was his most successful crowdfund to date, while comparatively Lonestar 3 might end up being Mike's worst.

As seen from the above table Lonestar and Graveyard Shift were arguable always very similar in terms of amount raised, with Lonestar beating its Graveyard Shift counterpart in terms of backers. We can only speculate how Lonestar 3 would be performing now had Mike remained in Comicsgate when looking at the performance of Graveyard Shift 3, but it would be undoubtedly doing better than how it is performing right now.

Enter the livestream and the fight for the soul of Mike S Miller.

The stream begins with just Mike announcing the launch with industry veterans Jon Malin and Gary Shipman in the chat and Mike offering a prayer thanking his community for their continued support. Mike finalizes the campaign live while forgetting his banking info and mailing out the secret tiers to his Lonestar first brigade backers. Mike notices that Jon Malin was in fact backer #2 of his latest campaign at the 9 minute mark and thanks his former Comicsgate compatriot for the support.

jonmalin.PNG

Mike then finalizes his secret tier and emails the link out to over 3000 of his Lonestar subscribers, then contemplates whether or not he should include original art pages when requested by a user from the chat. Mike once being funded at the fifteen minute mark, posts the streamyard's link in the chat and invites his audience to come on and celebrate with him live, turning the show into a call in show. It is then at the 16 minute mark he receives his first guest eternal Comicsgate boogeyman, the dirtworm himself Doug TenNapel. Doug wonders where the Monster Hunt 2 issue is, which includes the trio of Lonestar, Bigfoot Bill and Mike Baron's Nexus following the formula of the first Monster Hunt which included Lonestar, The Jawbreakers and Graveyard Shift. Mike informs Doug and the audience that Monster Hunt 2 will be a separate crowdfunding campaign which will launch next week. At the 19 minute mark Doug informs Mike that he has plenty of writing to do and will leave soon but not before Gary Shipman joins the stream. Doug then leaves at the 21 minute mark, spending a whole 5 minutes to help his Christian ally promote his book. This encourages Jon to offer his insight that Doug was a big help, which gets a laugh out of Mike.

jonmalin2.PNG

As the stream continues Mike is joined by audience members Fuzzy Creature and Anthony Clark, Gary Shipman then announces he has to bounce to work on some upperdeck cards for Marvel and leaves the stream around the 25 minute mark, again spending 5 minutes to help his friend promote. This again does not escape the notice of Jon Malin.

jonmalin3.PNG

The stream ticks along with Mike fielding questions about trading cards and Monster Hunt 2, while the most insightful parts of the stream are relegated to @Mister Dongs in chat.

dongss.PNG

At around the 1hr 2minute mark Mike is again joined by another comic legend, writer Mike Baron, the third contributor to the upcoming Monster Hunt 2 comic with his original character Nexus. Mike then previews the upcoming campaign Monster Hunt 2: Lets Get Kraken and reminds the audience that Monster Hunt 2 will be a separate campaign that launches the following week. The panel is then joined by Comicsgate creator Kelsey Shannon at the 1hr 11minute mark, who is contributing colors to the Kim Jung Gi cover as stated above. The livestream continues cordially as Mike continues to talk Lonestar, Monster Hunt 2 and previews his upcoming collaboration with Shadiversity on Shadow of the Conqueror, which to date has sold over 30,000 copies. Mike Baron then drops out at the 1hr and 30minute mark and doesn't return, possibly due to connection issues but spent over half an hour keeping Mike company during his launch stream. At the 1hr and 45minute mark the panel is joined by another member of the audience called Zach Draws and Mike continues to drop the streamyards link in his youtube chat encouraging his audience to join the panel, they are then joined by Indiecron website architect Pixel Traitor shortly after. At the 2hr 06minute mark Kelsey wishes to promote a project but doesn't have a wrench, at which point Mike mods Kelsey and claims he is receiving the wrench he took from Jon Malin. They then proceed to promote the Indiegogo campaign Seasons Volume 1 and 2 on Mike's stream, which Anthony Clark is associated with in some way, Clark then leaves the stream at the 2hr 8minute mark.

Pixel Traitor then goes on to promote a variety of parody trading cards of several Comicsgate books at the 2hr 14minute mark such entries include Jeff Lafferty's The Berserkonaut parody Berserkonut, Doug TenNapel's Bigmouth Bill, Donal Delay's Brutas the half ass, Mike S Miller's Clonestar, Ethan VanSciver's Cyberlog and Jon Malin's Graveyard Shit.

Eventually the chat starts offering up suggestions for a Red Rooster parody card, which involves some facetious and spicy suggestions including blank covers and Walmart logos. Despite admitting that the previous offerings were "funny" we are treated to a rare spergout by Kelsey that starts at the 2hr 21minute mark as his employer and sacred cow Mitch Breitweiser are suddenly becoming the butt of the joke. Kelsey suggests that he "loves all the Red Rooster haters" and asks if "it's just because he is here?" Kelsey then asks Mike if "Red Rooster haters are a common feature of Mike's chat" and claims he's "never seen any hatred for Red Rooster and wonders if all the haters hang out in Mike's chat exclusively." @Mister Dongs correctly points out the flaw in Kelsey's logic.

dongss2.PNG

The panel manages to calm Kelsey down and the livestream continues however Kelsey dismisses the "haters" with a confession that he didn't back Red Rooster, so therefore doesn't care, Kelsey then later leaves at the 2hr 26minute mark but claims he'll be back later. At the 2hr and 28minute mark Ethan @FROG then enters the chat and offers his advice and the stream begins to get more interesting.

evs1.PNG

Mike acknowledges Ethan's comment and Ethan continues to offer his support and enthusiasm for Mikes third Lonestar book from the chat.

evs2.PNG

evs3.PNG

evs4.PNG

The panel is then joined by another viewer called Belly of the Beast at the 2hr 34minute mark who leaves just as quickly as he joins, the subject turns to the election. This boring subject causes Pixel Traitor to drop out suddenly at the 2hr 41minute mark, however at this point the chat is more interesting than the stream where Mike's viewers are happy to see Ethan and he them.

chat1.PNG

chat2.PNG

chat3.PNG

chat4.PNG

Mike's viewers quickly spike from around 30-40 viewers, doubling to over 90 very quickly during this period as Comicsgaters begin to flock to the stream. The stream continues to meander on while Ethan continues to offer Mike conciliatory gestures while Mike rather stubbornly rebukes them. Even Mike's viewers and mods at this point want to see the dynamic duo put aside their past differences and get the band back together again.

evs5.PNG

Mike's extremely attractive wife then makes a rare appearance on camera at the 2hr 48minute mark  and the panel begins to discuss whether Mike is offering his hair for wigs. The conversation continues to meander until Ethan informs Mike that he didn't get an email about Lonestar 3, which Mike rather snidely answers with "you must have unsubscribed and you didn't back my last campaign anyway." At this point even I begin to feel a little bad for Ethan at the way Mike is treating him.

evs6.PNG

Ethan then retorts that although he didn't back Lonestar 2, he did draw a cover for it, while others point out that Ethan promoted it to 175K.

evs7.PNG

Mike concedes that Ethan did do that and admits that he appreciates it, but continues to rebuke and ignore Ethan's offer of help in the chat.

evs8.PNG

The panel begins to get awkwardly silent as dead air and random humming fills the stream. While Ethan correctly tells Mike that he burnt his copy of Cyberfrog and Mike insists that it was his right to burn it since he paid for it. Mike reveals that he actually bought two copies of Cyberfrog and the fire place only got one of them. At the 2hr 59minute mark things get interesting as Mike announces "this might be fun" and Liam Gray joins the panel. Unfortunately it is obvious almost immediately that this is a troll imposter, however Mike and the chat enjoy it and allow Fake Liam to stay.

chat5.PNG

Mike allows the charade to continue and plays along asking Fake Liam about a variety of subjects including Nasser, Comicsgate and Ody's rumored scrubbing of Xenotype from his twitter while continuing to address statements from the chat. Including a user pointing out that Doug never did any covers for Mike while Ethan and Jon both did covers and trading cards for him.

chat6.PNG

chat7.PNG

With Ethan insisting that Mike fundamentally is Comicsgate because of his beliefs and current standing in the industry.

evs9.PNG

Mike rebukes Ethan's remark by claiming that he was hired by Shadiversity so the statement in itself is false, despite the fact that Ethan was clearly referring to the mainstream industry and not random YouTubers. At the 3hr 10minute mark Fake Liam offers to be the "Devil on Mike's shoulder" and asks him what it would take for Mike to rejoin Comicsgate and if it was an impossible task? Mike answers that he just doesn't want to be associated with Ethan and brings up when Ethan left CG temporarily to form ALL CAPS comics Mike agreed with his reasoning that Comicsgate belongs to the fans and not creators. Fake Liam then asks the obvious question whether or not it was a good idea for Ethan to exile Warcampaign, which Mike agree's was a good decision but should have been done earlier. Ethan disputes this exile from the chat claiming Warcampaign wasn't exiled and they would be welcome back as long as they back off Cecil, Jon and Anna.

evs10.PNG

Mike then informs the audience that more members of Warcampaign had apologized to Mike for the way he was treated than Comicsgaters. At this time Zack Draws leaves the panel leaving Mike alone with the Devil on his shoulder, Fake Liam and the Angel on his shoulder Fuzzy Creature. Ethan continues to insist that Mike is Comicsgate and he is already associated with him, while Comicsgaters and Mikes own fans plead with him in the chat to consider Ethan's words. Mike says that he prays for Ethan but doesn't like him, which Fake Liam claims makes him sad since the two of them had "good chemistry" back in 2018. Mike retorts with the fact that Ethan tried to destroy him over the past year, so Fake Liam's point is moot.

chat8.PNG

chat9.PNG

Fake Liam continues to play devil's advocate for Ethan as he speculates that Ethan genuinely does miss Mike deep down and like Nasser would want him to return to the CG fold, however while Mike agree's he remains dismissive. Fake Liam repeats his earlier question whether or not Mike could ever consider returning to CG and what is would take for such a scenario to eventuate. Mike asks for a sincere apology from Ethan, which he receives from chat with Comicsgaters expressing how they miss Mike.

chat10.PNG

chat11.PNG

vik1.PNG

evs11.PNG

Mike proceeds to break Vik's immersion by informing him that Fake Liam Gray, isn't in fact Liam Gray and ignores Ethan's apology. Fake Liam however doesn't let him get away from it and reads Ethan's apology to Mike to which Mike responds he wishes he could believe it. At this point the mods in chat inform Ethan that it is an open stream and he can go on to apologize, however when Ethan requests the link Mike doesn't deliver. Many in Mike's chat, including his mods and Fake Liam ask for the link for Ethan but Mike continues to refuse. Fake Liam continues to play devils advocate by bringing up that he witnesses many Comicsgater's wanting Mike back, including in the Oz Arts streams.

chat14.PNG

chat13.PNG

chat12.PNG

Eventually @NasserRabadi13 appears in the chat and Mike invites him on, but there is some confusion about whether Nasser is in a group DM where the streamyards link was shared previously. Nasser announces he is going live and begins stream sniping Mike's stream and invites Ethan on to appear with him. There is further confusion when Nasser is randomly unwrenched on Mike's channel and hidden for promoting his own stream but is quickly reinstated. Fake Liam then announces his departure at the 3hr and 49minute mark leaving Mike and Fuzzy as the only two panelists left on the show. Several minutes later the panel is joined by DnQ cohost Mecha McCheese leading many in chat to speculate he was the identity of Fake Liam.

The stream continues as they discuss the events of the stream, Lonestar, Monster Hunt and several other topics with Fuzzy Creature leaving the panel at the 4hr 32minute mark before being joined by Don Chin joining at the 4hr 45minute mark before the stream ends at an epic 5hrs and 51minutes.

Nasser's stream snipe with EVS

As mentioned previously in the post Nasser began to stream snipe Mike before being joined by Ethan about 10 minutes into the stream, they then discussed Mike's stream, Comicsgate, horror films and a variety of other topics. The stream however was most interesting when a user brought up the "pride is a sin" drama which occurred between Mike and Ethan last year.
prd.PNG

Ethan then goes onto explain his reasoning at the time for his position on that controversy explaining:

"looking back I shouldn't have blown that out of proportion. Things were different, I mean it's like hard to say, things are different now we're being left alone. We've kind of won our spot you know SJWs and comics have been weakened to the point where you know DC is falling apart, Marvel's falling apart and they just don't have the power that they used to have and so we're kind of at peace and if Mike wanted to, you know, um you know say 'fuck the gays' or something like that he actually could right now and I think it would be okay. Um you know he'd be allowed to say whatever he wants to say but I mean back then like when all of those horrific articles were being written about us being homophobes, all of us were being called bigots, we all kind of had a responsibility to each other to not be those things because everyone took the blame for it. So when Mike says pride is a sin and he's basically telling gay people they are going to hell, well I mean we all have to answer for it."

Timestamped video.

This conciliatory tone of Ethan's and gestures of goodwill from Kelsey, Jon Malin and more lately Art Thibert have so far done nothing to convince Mike to return to Comicsgate. However with first Nasser's return and now openly trying to court Mike to come back, we may be witnessing a reunification effort being underway to help restore former Comicsgate creators and heal some of the different splinter factions. Whether or not Mike and his Christian brethren will accept Ethan's apology and forgiveness for the past growing pains of Comicsgate and help usher in a new reunited gilded age remains to be seen, however I don't think we have heard the last of the fight for Mike S Miller's soul.

Mike asks for a sincere apology from Ethan, which he receives from chat with Comicsgaters expressing how they miss Mike.

Many in Ethan's chat, including his mods and Fake Liam ask for the link for Ethan but Mike continues to refuse. Fake Liam continues to play devils advocate by bringing up that he witnesses many Comicsgater's wanting Mike back, including in the Oz Arts streams.

View attachment 1730158

Ethan then goes onto explain his reasoning at the time for his position on that contraversary explaining:

"looking back I shouldn't have blown that out of proportion. Things were different, I mean it's like hard to say, things are different now we're being left alone. We've kind of won our spot you know SJWs and comics have been weakened to the point where you know DC is falling apart, Marvel's falling apart and they just don't have the power that they used to have and so we're kind of at peace and if Mike wanted to, you know, um you know say 'fuck the gays or something like that he actually could right now and I think it would be okay.

Whether or not Mike and his Christian brethren will accept Ethan's apology and forgiveness for the past growing pains of Comicsgate and help usher in a new reunited gilded age remains to be seen, however I don't think we have heard the last of the fight of Mike S Miller's soul.

Mike is too set in his ways to come back to CG. I bet this campaign will be lucky to hit 40k and that’s being generous. In my opinion the Lonestar books are too short to adequately tell the story of his character as evidenced by Mike’s constant skipping around the story points in his first two books and they feel kind of rushed. That and his flagship character Lonestar is as generic as they come and so is the main bad guy Svarog. Mike said in his last stream that your main bad guy should be just as cool as your hero. Well in this case he missed the mark completely and without EVS‘s fan base to help him out, it’s already showing up in his sales.

I took one of Frog's vids describing the count at face value; after trawling the "Currently Published by DC Comics" wiki history the most I could find was 73 before New 52.

However, if you count one-shots and limited runs along with now defunct imprints like Wildstorm and Vertigo, DC Comics printed 101 titles in 2010.

Let's not break our backs feeling too sorry for Pat Zircher only being able to share his musing with ~300 followers.

Frog plays fast and loose sometimes like that. He also is over valuing Geoff Johns contribution.

Johns is clearly not interested in the nitty gritty of building a universe. He wants movies and tv shows. Of course he's an average Hollywood talent.

This is like Liefeld recommending Loeb for the EiC position at DC.

I didn't know my name was in the credits of DC Super Hero Girls! Rad!

Oh, and fuck you! :)
Classy as ever.

Also its a neat show you can watch with your daughter. Good stuff that's fun for parents and kids.

View attachment 1729739

View attachment 1729803

View attachment 1729818

As the stream continues Mike is joined by audience members Fuzzy Creature and Anthony Clark, Gary Shipman then announces he has to bounce to work on some upperdeck cards for Marvel and leaves the stream around the 25 minute mark, again spending 5 minutes to help his friend promote. This again does not escape the notice of Jon Malin.

View attachment 1729831

The stream ticks along with Mike fielding questions about trading cards and Monster Hunt 2, while the most insightful parts of the stream are relegated to @Mister Dongs in chat.

View attachment 1729842

View attachment 1729934

View attachment 1729942

The panel manages to calm Kelsey down and the livestream continues however Kelsey dismisses the "haters" with a confession that he didn't back Red Rooster, so therefore doesn't care, Kelsey then later leaves at the 2hr 26minute mark but claims he'll be back later. At the 2hr and 28minute mark Ethan @FROG then enters the chat and offers his advice and the stream begins to get more interesting.

View attachment 1729951

Mike acknowledges Ethan's comment and Ethan continues to offer his support and enthusiasm for Mikes third Lonestar book from the chat.

View attachment 1729963

The panel is then joined by another viewer called Belly of the Beast at the 2hr 34minute mark who leaves just as quickly as he joins, the subject turns to the election. This boring subject causes Pixel Traitor to drop out suddenly at the 2hr 41minute mark, however at this point the chat is more interesting than the stream where Mike's viewers are happy to see Ethan and he them.

View attachment 1730013

Mike's extremely attractive wife then makes a rare appearance on camera at the 2hr 48minute mark  and the panel begins to discuss whether Mike is offering his hair for wigs. The conversation continues to meander until Ethan informs Mike that he didn't get an email about Lonestar 3, which Mike rather snidely answers with "you must have unsubscribed and you didn't back my last campaign anyway." At this point even I begin to feel a little bad for Ethan at the way Mike is treating him.

View attachment 1730026

Ethan then retorts that although he didn't back Lonestar 2, he did draw a cover for it, while others point out that Ethan promoted it to 175K.

View attachment 1730036

Mike concedes that Ethan did do that and admits that he appreciates it, but continues to rebuke and ignore Ethan's offer of help in the chat.

View attachment 1730043

View attachment 1730051

Mike allows the charade to continue and plays along asking Fake Liam about a variety of subjects including Nasser, Comicsgate and Ody's rumored scrubbing of Xenotype from his twitter while continuing to address statements from the chat. Including a user pointing out that Doug never did any covers for Mike while Ethan and Jon both did covers and trading cards for him.

View attachment 1730064
View attachment 1730065

With Ethan insisting that Mike fundamentally is Comicsgate because of his beliefs and current standing in the industry.

View attachment 1730075

View attachment 1730087

View attachment 1730098
View attachment 1730100

Fake Liam continues to play devil's advocate for Ethan as he speculates that Ethan genuinely does miss Mike deep down and like Nasser would want him to return to the CG fold, however while Mike agree's he remains dismissive. Gotta say, hard to feel sorry for idiots. Kudos to @FROG. You outJesus'd someone whose whole identity revolves around that.

From what I've read it looks like AT&T wants DC to take a more "manga" like approach to how they publish.

Half of me wonders if they think publishing like manga will net them that success in the way weeb kids think drawing big eyes and pointy chins will make them talented. But then AT&T weren't able to buy Warner Media by being bad at business, and it'll take some of that to successfully pull comics out of sweaty nerd dens and into real stores.

I would be wary too, but you can sit in a corner with your bottom lip stuck out for only so long.

Mike's biggest problems, plural, is he sucks at Youtube and has way too much pride.

I see what you did there.

I don't like Mike, but there's a really good dynamic between us all when he's on the show. He's likeable when he's dealing with Cecil, Jon and myself, but he's a real drag by himself.

As revulsed as I am by him as a person, he's fun to talk to.

It'd be one thing if his solo act was bringing in $$$$$$ for his family, but after the Lonestar variant cover campaign flop, the unfunded Bless this Mess flop, MAGAnificent 7's flop, and now Lonestar 3's disastrous opening, I can't watch this happen without trying to intervene.

I'm guessing he's still waiting to see how his book with Shadiversity does. If that's a big hit, he can give us all the finger and claim victory?

If not, I'll try once more to bring that horse to water. What a dummy.

Even if his book with "Shadiversity" does well, it would do even better with CG behind it.

Far be it from me to backseat drive a campaign but Mike's channel, which is to say the primary means of marketing his product and his brand, being allowed to reach a state of dereliction that he turns the keys over to random members of his chat so he can draw during a campaign launch until they get bored and leave is jarring to watch. It's a good thing that Mike is still a skilled and active artist because Shadiversity is going to need broad shoulders to carry the selling of Mike's labor;. as it stands Mike's channel can't get a single bid for an original art page of Gary Shipman starting at $200. Partnership with Shad couldn't have come any sooner as Mike's channel in its current format appears to have entered a state of creative exhaustion.

On the other hand, watching provacateurs like Mecha and Testefy get welcomed into Smiller's channel and try to get along like stray cats squatting in a vacant building is entertaining. At the same time, Australian Comicsgate has been on the decline as far as content goes. Liam, in the face of increasingly public scrutiny, has put away his dreams of imposing his vision of Comicsgate upon the world and cocooned himself while Oz's show has entered a sort of dysthemic equilibrium. Who knows what sort of audience Mike can attract if he continues to embrace his more trollish proclivities.

but why try and help Mike now if you don’t like him? He won’t appreciate it and Doug will be in his ear Telling him the wrong thing. It doesn’t make any sense now that he has turned into an actual train wreck in motion. Now we are at the phase where we just sit back and watch.

While it would have done better with CG support, I think it still would have underperformed/flopped because of his personality and the lateness of the previous Lonestar. I know I personally will never back a Smiller campaign ever again.

Honestly, I don't think any attempt should be made to bring him back into the CG fold. While I feel bad for his family, fruit thief Mike has made his bed and needs to lay in it.

It's certainly in question as to whether any of the customers Mike previously scorned would forgive him, or ever back his campaigns again. I can't know that. Nasser is a test case, and I believe it's going to take months of consistent good behavior before my fans are willing to support him again. But at least Nasser is trying. I think he's going to do okay.

Could Mike be forgiven and receive support again?

@Absurdity believes that people only support my comics because of my own cult of personality. That's a harsh take, and I don't think it's true. REIGNBOW BRUTE is going to sell to people who also dislike me, but can't resist the concept. So Absurdity is an obsessive gay retard stalker. But if he said the same thing about Smiller, I think he'd be on to something. Do people really want LONESTAR? He's an extremely unappealing character, like Mike is. I believe Mike would have trouble selling LONESTAR to anyone other than the 300-500 people who are already his devoted fans.

Maybe he just isn't worth trying to save.

It’s interesting to see his attempts to branch out to make his brand outside of CG. Even more so than watching Doug’s attempts because he doesn’t have a big property to fall back on. So if he succeeds, it opens a new way for others seeking an alternative from CG to succeed.

Pride is one of the seven deadly sins for a reason, and Mike is clearly blinded by his pride.

I think Mike will come back to CG eventually, but only when he's left with no other recourse and he HAS to start making big money again.

And that happens after his wife divorces him, takes his kids, and leaves him for the dance instructor.

Even if his book with "Shadiversity" does well, it would do even better with CG behind it.
Shadiversity doesn't seem all that "woke" himself, but a LOT of the people he hangs with are. I'm kind of surprised he hasn't gotten crap for working with Miller, and then dropped him like a hot potato.

those types are slow on the uptake when it comes to comics. Once Shad’s project starts getting popularity they’ll start looking into Mike and swarm in like vultures.

Never underestimate the draw of "GRRM's go-to comic artist" can have on a fantasy nerd. As I see it, the bigger problem than "SJWs" (read: Comicsgaters) trying to cancel Smiller (again) through Shadiversity are the stylistic clashes inherent with Mike's style of pop-art realism versus the romantic expressionism expected of a fantasy graphic novel.

Highlight for me was Zombienomicon, the disgraced Australian fraudster and former Dark Priest of Anti-CG, turning up in a Liam skin-suit to troll Mike's channel, getting immediately promoted to host of the show and finding himself in a kind of Dr Phil-type healer role, mediating the great Frog-Smiller rift. With @FROG down in the chat calling out in vain for a link. Well done Zombienomicon. As the sun sets on the Liam Empire, Australian CG's very excellent upside-down-land humor has found a new home on Mike's channel thanks to you.

Lowlight was Fuzzy Creature, the fat guy with the terrible accents. If that guy is the angel to Zombienomicon's devil-on-the-shoulder, then hail fucking Satan because that guy really sucked. He was like a live demonstration of how to be shit on a stream. Even if Smiller thinks Frog is the worst bastard in comics, he should at least try and understand the difference between a good person and a good streamer. If Smiller really was as cunning and clever as he thinks he is, he would have dropped the worthless, angelic Fuzzy Creature and brought in the electric, diabolic Frog - even if it was just to bicker with him.
