SJWSpiderman is still around? Holy shit.

"Ethan has to be on his last leg. Cut it off completely by going after his crowdfund projects."

Ya Boi Zack isn't kidding around when he says SJWs want people like Ethan unable to make a living.

Can anyone give me a qrd on what's happening with TUG? There's nothing special in his thread.
If you think Frog is a grifter and a piece of shit, like the Newmans do, TUG is ten times worse.
I would go over all the shit he has done, but I can't be bothered with it right now.
Best guess is to watch DA_Talks videos on him, they have all the good bits of his thread and more, TUG even got so butthurt about them that he reported them.

There's also this, TUG claimed our boy @Smug Freiza is Thomas Roilup.

TUG's thread is in dire need for a proper OP/Dox.
And if he continues to piss on our toes, this will happen sooner than he wishes for it to happen.

But nevermind all of that, please watch our dearest leader's Amber Heard playlist instead.
Heil TUG!!!!
Und fette Beute!!!

Ah, the memories!

Isn't TUG still the primary suspect for Frog's very first approved gayop, when he rolled up a fake Mark Waid account in the chat during Waid's interview with EVS and through his hysterical overreaction afterwards gave EVS the excuse to publicly break with his "friend"?

Do you actually believe that? Because honestly, that sounds like something only an A-logging retard would believe.

It only sounds that way if you have a penchant for frog tongues in your aural canal. I can't speak for all retards, but this A+logging retard knows what TUG and Ethan and Ro are capable of, so it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility. It would help to explain why things rolled out the way they did in the early days. Everything Ethan did back then was tightly controlled and deeply planned out. Remember, he had everything to lose! If you really believe the fake Ethan persona from 2017 in anyway resembles the real out-and-proud Ethan we've come to know & love/hate in 2021, then I have a turpentine vaccine I'd like to sell you.

Looks like he's dropped the gayops and non-optimal alliances over time as he's entered into more financial security and influence. He'll still pull the occasional throat-puff-turned-humble-brag-turned-disavowal depending on who's in front of him and who's standing next to him but at least there are fewer headcases swarming around him looking for something smelly to lay their eggs in.

I know it's best to try to stay impartial but given the choice, I'd rather be an a-log than a frog-lick. Free country though!

"Today we are going over more lies and misinformation being spread by the mainstream"

So Jeremy believes the "Mainstream" is behind his producer credits page on IMDB. In this 11:36 videoooooooooo Jeremy goes over his producer page in which he's responsible for the Quartering, Critical Drinker, Our dear friend and leader TUG, EVS and others in the Fandom Menace and Friendly.

The amount of stupidity and ignorance in this is unbelievable

On the bright side his star meter is on the up 59,640 this week

He wants the page reported for lies

Remember when people were mad that DC ditched Diamond last year? Well now Marvel is doing the same thing but it's cool though.

Marvel Exclusively Distributed To Comic Shops By Penguin Random House

Posted on March 25, 2021 | by Rich Johnston | Comments
Marvel Comics has announced that they will no longer be distributing comic books to comic stores in North America via Diamond Comic Distributors. Instead, they will be exclusively distributed by Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS), a division of Penguin Random House. This will be an exclusive worldwide multi-year sales and distribution agreement for Marvel's newly published and backlist comic books, trade collections, and graphic novels to comics shops. And PRH officially begins its distribution to Direct Market retailers for all Marvel titles starting October 1st.
Marvel Exclusively Distributed To Comic Shops By Penguin Random House
However, Marvel states that Direct Market comic book retailers, as well as being able to order Marvel direct from PRH, will also be able to order through Diamond Comic Distributors, who will act as a wholesaler under terms established by Diamond in the US and the UK. The terms for stores may be different as they are now; however, we will wait to see for that to drop. But Diamond will become a customer/vendor of PRH, just like every other store.
Hachette Book Group will continue to manage the distribution of Marvel's graphic novels and trade collections to the book market.
The reason for the change, given to me by Marvel sources, is that Marvel believes that this will grow the market, provide more efficiency, and more reliable resources, as Penguin Random House are one of the largest and most experienced book publisher and distributor in the world, and Marvel believes that what PRH can provide Marvel – and retailers – far more then they get now. But providing the opportunity for comic stores to still order from Diamond will smooth out the changes.
It is notable that Penguin Random House prides itself as a "free freight" distributor, unlike Diamond, so that all shipping charges will be absorbed in the orderable price of the comics, no additional shipping fees will be charged.
Oh, and new Marvel Comics will still be available in comic stores on Wednesdays, just like all the other Diamond Comic Distributor titles.
Marvel states in a press release, "After a thorough analysis of the market environment, Marvel has chosen PRHPS as its distribution partner to create a sustainable, productive supply chain and enhanced infrastructure for Marvel publications that will benefit comics retailers and fans alike for years to come. Penguin Random House is known for its state-of-the-art multi-ranging services that enable independent booksellers to increase efficiency and profitability."
"Marvel's entire history is built on telling great stories. And as we've seen for decades, those stories go hand in hand with equipping the comic shops who share them. Marvel and Penguin Random House stand by that vision, and we are excited to build and expand those opportunities for our talent, retailers, and fans," said Dan Buckley, President of Marvel Entertainment. "Comics are the core of the Marvel Universe, and we are confident this new partnership will continue to grow and evolve this resilient industry. We look forward to advancing our capabilities with PRHPS to serve our fans and the Direct Market. We thank Diamond for their many years of support and partnership as we continue our relationship with them in other areas."
"This is an exciting time for comics, and we're thrilled to partner with Marvel in taking the next steps to support the growth of the marketplace, together with our Direct Market retail partners," said Jeff Abraham, President of Penguin Random House Publisher Services. "Based on the foundation of our relationships with physical retailers, we're confident in the significant growth of the comic book industry and welcome the opportunity to further collaborate with and invest PRHPS' resources in the Direct Market. Combining the standard-setting supply chain and sales capabilities of PRH with Marvel's renowned universe of stories and characters, we expect to reach even more fans of its artists and writers throughout the world."
Marvel also states, "Penguin Random House is a free-freight company, allowing retailers to simplify their business models while alleviating the volatility and complexity of reducing freight costs and planning. Through many of PRH's standard offerings, like its rapid replenishment program for graphic novels and advanced supply chain, Direct Market retailers will experience more flexibility to manage inventory and stock their stores to best serve their customers."
And that "Marvel's full print and online October Marvel Previews catalog and comic book solicits will be available in July and distributed by PRHPS to active accounts. All comic book and trade orders for titles going on sale this October should be made through PRHPS. Early solicit titles will be available for order starting on May 26. Retailers can open PRHPS accounts now to register for Marvel's monthly title catalogs and solicits, which will continue to be available to retailers approximately three months ahead of on sale."
What this means for Diamond, who lost DC Comics last year, and now – presumably – will have far tighter margins on Marvel Comics and may not be able to distribute the titles competitively with Penguin Random House – we will learn later. But for now, Diamond will be continuing to supply Marvel Comics to retailers who want to stay with them. In response to the new, Diamond boss Steve Geppi has stated the following;
Today, Marvel announced a new arrangement for comics, trades, and graphic novels going to the Direct Market. Starting with product on-sale October 1, Diamond will purchase these Marvel products from Penguin Random House (PRH) as a wholesaler rather than distributing them directly from Marvel. This change represents a behind-the-scenes shift in how we obtain these products for distribution, but it does not impact our ability to supply Marvel comics, trades, and graphic novels worldwide and we are pleased that we will continue selling these products to the Direct Market.
As you know, Diamond has been in the business of comic distribution for almost 40-years. We are the industry's largest single-source of comics, games, collectibles and supplies offering your products to more than 4,500 retailers each month. We have an unsurpassed commitment to the success of your business and focus heavily on partnering with you to market your brands, sell your products and manage your inventory. With Diamond, your products are alongside nearly all the major players, increasing your reach and exposure. This allows retailers to more easily cross-sell to fans of related products. Our dedicated marketing staff supports these efforts with daily communications to customers, including time-sensitive messages as well as a consumer team focused on engaging fans with your products and amplifying your consumer messages.
Throughout our history, we have continuously invested in improvements to our distribution network. Today we have over one-million square feet of warehouse space where we carefully pick, pack and consistently deliver more than two-million units per week. We have a robust network of transportation providers including drop points in major metro areas to reduce costs and increase convenience for customers ordering your product. Diamond has always been highly focused on the specialized needs of our industry and we are dedicated to the Direct Market. We have a solid foundation and are well-positioned for the future. We will continue to work hard to earn your business today and every day.
Many more shoes to drop on this one. For retailers, the big take out will probably be "you can order Marvel through Diamond or PRH. But PRH won't charge you freight."

First Reactions To Marvel Comics/Penguin Random House/Diamond News

Posted on March 25, 2021 | by Rich Johnston | Comments
Bleeding Cool ran the news earlier today, that Marvel Comics was to be exclusively distributed to comic shops by Penguin Random House. But that stores can still order through Diamond – just that Diamond will now be a customer of Penguin Random House, like every comic shop. There may be some amortisation of shipping costs still ordering through Diamond, as retailers will get their Marvel Comics alongside their Image, Dark Horse, Boom, IDW, Valiant, Oni, Vault, Dynamite and the rest.
But, as Bleeding Cool summarised, "You can order Marvel through Diamond and through PRH. But PRH won't charge you freight." Which led retailer Randall Begins to tell us "then I think my life just got a lot better." This will be the difference for many retailers between the DC/Lunar/UCS move away from Diamond and the Penguin/Random House switch. Lunar increased costs for most by adding new shipping changes. Penguin Random House will take existing charges away.
First Reactions To Marvel Comics/Penguin Random House/Diamond NewsFirst Reactions To Marvel Comics/Penguin Random House/Diamond News
This is some of the reaction to the news from comic book folk. Most of them are staying schtum and looking to the runes (or the private slacks). But some have things to say right now in social media.
David Gallaher: This is significant. Congratulations to Marvel and Random House. When I was at RandomHouse about a decade ago at this point — my supervisors had already paved the way for getting into the direct market. PRH had the staff, the passion, and the resources to make this work. I cannot wait.
Eric Reynolds: Put into layman's terms, Marvel leaving Diamond for Penguin Random House is like breaking up with Doctor Doom to date Galactus? Or something like that? Like Marvel distro just entered the Multiverse?
Shane M. Bailey: So DC leaves Diamond, Ahoy, Vault Comics, AWA Studios, Red 5 Comics, Behemoth, Z2 Comics, and Scout Comics all go to Simon & Shuster for book distribution, and now Marvel leaves for Penguin. This is fascinating. I only wonder why it took so damn long.
Joe Bryan: This is the death of Diamond. The affect this will have on your LCS's and Indy Publishers can't be overstated. It's going to be a whole new world for comic fans.
Juanfer Lopez: This isn't the death of Diamond. Marvel books will still be getting distributed by them. On the other hand, this is great for retailers as now Diamond has competition and will have to adjust their business practices accordingly
Steve Bryant: I love that Penguin/Random House is entering into direct market distribution. Thinking back to when there were multiple direct market distributors, I wish Marvel weren't exclusive with them. That said, I'm still hoping that this strengthens the DM, as well as comics in general.
Mike Avila: HUGE comics news: @Marvel + Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS) sign exclusive deal for Penguin RH to distribute Marvel's comics/trades/GNs to the direct market. devastating blow to Diamond, as Marvel makes up at least 1/2 their business.
Graeme MacMillan: All comic publishers that aren't DC or Marvel: Now's probably a great time to see if you can renegotiate your contracts with Diamond.
Mitch Gerads: All my best to the shops out there who now have to boycott DC AND Marvel.
Pete Woods: Things to consider- Does this mean your LCS now will have to compete with chain bookstores? Will Marvel focus their content for longer shelf life? If this sinks Diamond or- more likely- forces cutbacks what happens to small publishers?
Adam Knave: Diamond's press team sent a single page response, packaged in a 9×9 foot box, with no packing materials.
Pat Brosseau: Bye, Diamond…
Morgan Perry: This is MAJOR. More-so than DC's switch to Lunar, imo… Having additional distribution methods isn't a bad thing. Is it more work for comic shops? Yes. But independent bookstores have been working with multiple distributors for years. Having competition creates a need to develop better customer service practices, benefits, and terms. This is going to change a lot things. How it changes them, we will have to wait and see. So free freight is on the table for retailers. What does this mean? Most comic shops will find this appealing as freight/shipping at other distributors has been a sticking point, This could broaden the distro for periodicals to indie bookstores. Also, please do not panic and freak out your LCS just yet. This new distro deal begins with October-Shipping books. There will be a lot of information for retailers to process in the next weeks/months as they potentially look into onboarding.
Steph Hocutt: I've had a very interesting first few weeks at PRH to say the least, haha!
Gerry Conway: Heads are exploding today at Diamond…and at every publisher that distributes through them. This could be as bad for comics as Martin Goodman's distribution problems in the late 1950s.
Dylan Todd: My official statement on the Marvel/Diamond split: LMAO
Tom Ward: Everyone praising Marvel for bailing and Diamond but I have always sealed every single comic I've sold with a kiss and sent it directly to the fans with nothing but the raddest of vibes.
Jennifer de Guzman: I don't blame Marvel! If anything, this will make the direct market better.I don't blame Marvel! If anything, this will make the direct market better.
Ian Brill: We wondered what Marvel and DC would be now that their corporate parents are more involved. Leaving Diamond makes sense. Working with Diamond often feels absurd, but inertia kept it powerful. Not surprised the suits looked at things and asked if there's anything better.
Susana Polo: Took a day off for my birthday last year, DC left Diamond. Was out for a few hours to get a shot, Marvel "left" Diamond. What I'm getting from this is I should take time off WAY more
Kris N: Diamond is bad. But what happens to all the smaller publisher and books that they were carrying? Geppi is more likely to close up shop entirely than try to make money on those thin margins. Idk this marvel news is crazy.
Dennis Barger: You can only kick the shitout of someone's stuff for so long before they say "no mas"
Randall Begins: Now that Marvel has made their big move, let's see where the other publishers go. I'm kinda hoping DC goes to Penguin as well. Lunar has disappointed me enough times I'm ok with DC going to Penguin. For the love of God Penguin better have good customer service.
Scott Rienbeck: Are they trying to make our jobs as hard as possible????
Tony Puryear: Penguin Random House did a very good job distributing my book, Concrete Park, and other books for Dark Horse. They are RUTHLESS when it comes to deadlines though. RUTHLESS. I admire that. Wish more of my comics friends tried to emulate that, lol.
Mike Sterling: So Diamond is going to continue providing Marvel comics 'n' stuff to the direct market, but possibly with a change in discount levels to make up for the fact that they're ALSO wholesaling product from the new distributor. I don't know if that means Diamond will get stuff later, or if they'll have a deal with Random House to get material early enough to pack and redistribute. At any rate, Diamond will HAVE to step up their shortage/damage prevention, not just with Marvel product, but with ALL the companies that also have preexisting relationships w/RH (like Dark Horse, IDW and Archie) to avoid them moving their business over, too. But with the pending loss of income (presumably) I don't know if Diamond will be able to afford to.

Double posting because not everything could fit in one post, but Penguin Random House actually answering questions about the deal seems important

Or, just hear me out here, OR it really was just some random guy that EVS had no control over that was fucking with Waid for kicks because people do that shit all the time

Ethan did say he 'thought he knew who it was' if memory serves correctly. A hardly serious finger wagging followed by a warm welcome back when you're ready kind of thing which is odd if you're dealing with a complete rando. I recall how tongue-in-cheek that slap on the wrist was back at the time. It was pretty important because it enabled Ethan to gauge fan reaction and proceed accordingly. In retrospect, he couldn't have been more of a closeted coworker because up until then he had managed to book both Slott and Waid within two weeks of each other.

You literally have him as your avatar. Why don't you just ask him if he'll step out on Andrea, tell him you're gonna buy a ticket to NJ and suck him dry.

Somehow EVS has been here for a couple years, not managed to make himself a lolcow and is actually taking heat for participating on this board. You may hate it, but that's at least a tiny bit of street cred. Not to mention he's a ticket seller and you're nothing but a self-confessed, A-logging ticket buyer.

Do you understand how retarded you look coming in this thread and constantly tagging the person your stalking while rocking an avatar picture of him? In fact I'm just wondering why more people haven't noticed how fucked up that shit is.

The only thing that prevents him from being a desperate grifter lolcow, is that he does have legendary skills as an artist. But the more gentlemen such as yourself insist that I look the other way and rush to gloss over the truth, the more I think it warrants examination. I'm not suddenly going to stop just because you just need a power-leveling jackass to save the day. He makes money, he makes nice drawings, so lets give him a lifetime pass for shit behavior. No thanks.

If you really like his work, like it for what it is. But when it comes to the man himself it is possible to call him out and hold him to it and still like his artistic contributions. I'm not a fan of Cyberfrog, but I loved his Flash and Green Lantern stuff. I hate Bob Kane and his dishonesty, but I like that he co-created Batman and appreciate what he contributed to the character that stood the test of time. So far, you're doubling down on the simping. It's not as if the minute you attempt to criticize him on the forums he's going to be canceled. The good work that he does will stand, but the other stuff won't that's all. The more people like you tell me to ignore it, the more interesting it becomes for me.

Sorry to rain on your parade junior, but let's keep some perspective on things. If you weren't so emotionally invested, you might stop posting like a moody teenager.

It's one thing to be a sheep, it's another thing to be shorn and out of season. Good luck!

I love the idea that I needed to "break" with Mark Waid, but just needed the most convoluted and silly way to do it.

"I've got it. I'll have a parody account mildly rib him from the chat! Maybe TUG, who I don't even really know yet, will do it. Sure, Waid probably won't see it, but a psycho SJW might, and then he'll report it to Waid, who will then use it as a pretext to go apeshit and threaten to fuck my fans with a rusty chainsaw and never talk to me again. It's a risky maneuver, but I've just gotta end this casual professional acquaintanceship somehow. It's like an albatross."

Make room for the idea that you might be an exceptional individual.

Masterful strategy. So TUG is Hitler and you're Erwin Rommel?
