Frog did a good job, he made his guest look great, came off well to his guest's fans and sidetracked into the child gangbang scene from IT and abortion only once. Maybe Comicsgate needs a delegation team to help reach out and forge ties with other outrage movements?

My CG Draft:

SpiritScar
Liam Gray
Fizzchozo
Jon Malin
Ro Kabir
Vikki
Nasser
The reason I keep saying that EVS is not a cow is because, when he is not on a stream with srunken e-celeb boomers who do talk shows about nothing for conservative people who are interested in comicbooks, third rate THOT or massive spergs, but is instead talking to intelligent people who are pationate about art, he is able to come off as a good host.
He is not a great listener and has this pathological needs to call everybody he speaks to a friend but he can read the room and knows when to stop fishing for edgelord humor.
He can pass off as normal which is a good quality.

Now, if he opted to ditch the JACKery he is surrounded with and get Rippa or someone like The Critical Drinker aboard he could be doing great streams.

Nope, still love Cecil. I always say shit about him and I'm always joking.

But I don't want to publish or fulfill CASH GRAB.

You don’t think that makes you look bad that Cecil is not fulfilling the book even though it’s already done? I mean you did promote the hell out of the book and Cecil made over 250k. I’ve seen you unperson Adam Post for publishing work that wasn’t really his but, at least he delivers on his books. Does Cecil stand to suffer the same fate if he doesn’t deliver on Cash Grab That is 3 years late? I was hoping I would get to read that Dirtroom Doug book.

Also, when is Snowman coming to print? It’s been a while on that book too.

Of all TFM people, he's the only one that has actually produced something.

Jeff Hicks has written and drawn a comic book where he didn't ship them in any packaging and is currently fucking up a second book in some manner.

dumb asshole but at least fulfills crowdfunds
grifter that at least fulfills and not ruin it for everyone else
youtube chat regular
unproven comic creator
a random nobody off of the street
would be comic producer that wants my money <- youngrippa is here (for now)
failure but had an acceptable reason
blowhard failure
cultural parasite <- the rest of TFM
established grifter that didn't deliver

I- forgot about Jeff Hicks.

In fairness, that's like blaming Ody for fucking up the editing of Xenotype. At the end of the day, Cash Grab falls entirely on Cecil, and it's on him if the book does NOT fulfill. It wouldn't be fair if we start partitioning blame on promoters because a book they heavily promoted failed to deliver. It would otherwise kill any desire to help out other creators and build a network.

The being held accountable part, I do agree with you on. At least Adam Post delivered a product.

Disagree. Cash Grab was invented as a vehicle for a Cecil payday. It wasn't Cecil's idea to crowdfund that project, he was put up to it.

Cecil is an adult who has the ability to do what nearly every other ComicsGater has managed to do, with the benefit of learning from other people's mistakes. He can do this. I know that he WILL do it, which is why he's still on my livestreams.

If he wants US to do it, he must meet the quote that we sent him, which he said was too high. That's fine.

Adam Post didn't get "unpersoned." He was disinvited from my livestreams pending his reorganization as a comic book CREATOR and not just publisher. All he needs to do is generate comics himself (by having an idea, and hiring a writer and artist to build it) instead of reprinting webcomics by strangers, and he's back.

I dunno Frog, you guys rag on Comic Book Hut for being a grocery store manager for 20 years but Cecil has never managed to accomplish anything close to that in his life. Maybe he could start by understudying Hut by mopping up the bulk produce section but frankly he probably doesn't have it in him to do it. We're talking about someone who grinded for 15 years to be the opening act for a female comedian on an online comedy podcast.

First we'll see if Comic Book Hut is able to make his comic because, let's face it, between the two Hut is more likely to fulfill first even with a two and a half year handicap, and if he does manage that we'll seriously consider the possibility that Cecil (the lesser Hut) might be able to fulfill Cash Grab.

So did most of his backers.

There was also that weirdness with refunds.

I can't wait to see Cecil try and launch Cash Grab 2 before he starts fullfillment on 1. Maybe we'll get cries of RICO! or using funds from a previous campaign, to full fill the next?

I didn't back Cash Grab, but the entertainment its provided me is incalculable.

Why would you open up to Kickstarter with a 2 day flash sale? For 3 of your most random books? At least do it on IGG where you already have an audience that might want to hop on a last chance train. Zack works in mysterious ways.
He probably did it to test if he'd be permitted to use the platform at all in 2022. The money it raises isn't relevant.

Zack is all over the place examining everyone's business models to try and figure out how he can improve his own without having to take any advice or listen to anyone (everyone) who is telling him the same exact thing.

There has to be another way to win without reversing course and going back to what worked for him before, Zack thinks.

You say tomato, I say two-bob charlatan whose total lack of creative ability is only rivalled by his total lack of charisma.

BTW, CYBERFROG 2: REKT PLANET is done. I still need to dialogue the pages and about 8 of them still need color. But it's 73 pages long and the art is complete.

Zack went to Kickstarter. How come he doesn’t get kicked out of CG like Clint did?

You see, in a healthy polity there's often a forum or a political organ where people can challenge accepted values and ideas and determine what is actually true vs what is merely dogma upheld by the majority as true. Like a Congress, a summit or a Presidium. Comicsgate by contrast has Liam Gray, who will take something the Comicsgate rank and file bleat as true and angrily attack anyone who questions it and actually apply it equally without double standard, or take a piece of "commonly accepted wisdom" to its logical end conclusion and force the leadership to take a break from running infomercials and/or drunkenly yelling over each other at a 2AM livestream to actually acknowledge reality.

One such case was the matter of customer rights absolutism and vanguardism, asking questions like how it was fair that little people were getting vetted for "anti-CG/SJW associations" while CG Jesus Simple Zack can get his pinups with enemies of the people like Sashi promoted on CAPS, backwardly arriving at the conclusion that everyone should be underneath the self-imposed boot equally instead of the selective, self-serving manner in which said boot was applied (never forget #CGOnly w/ special cover by Andrew Huerta). Another was putting an end to the commonly accepted "IndieGoGo is the only platform CGers should support out of solidarity against cancel culture" creed after he got IndieGogo to take down Jon del Arroz's campaign. In this sense Liam provides a unique and invaluable service to everyone in Comicsgate (except Jon).

He actually cracked the code (boobs) in a video the other day.
@Mister Dongs CG Orthodoxy has been the bane of CG and the joy of the farms.
At its core, CG is an anarchic reaction movement and trying to impose a rule set to it will always lead to all sorts of schisms and scamps. Simple Zack can do what Simple Zack wants because he has a platform. People without a platform should comply to what Malin says or just grab an oar. Trying to impose laws, ethics and logic to the crowdfunding comics jungle is moot - and hilarious when you add spergs like WC or Liam
