Funny how Meyer made a lot of noise about how comics creators are like hot dog vendors who gotta get them hotdogs out to the customers, and he left a bunch of his "hotdogs" out and let them shrivel up and rot. What gets me is Meyer and the other CGers who act like its whiny nitpicking when they're criticized for their late or vaporware books . It's also strange to me that you see these grifters and "Who?"'s in the indie comics online sphere who act like a creator actually getting their comics out on time is just sooooooo lame. "Heh, only a NERD would get their books delivered when they said they would, only a LOSER would fulfill the promises made to backers on their crowdfunding page!"

You know what makes it even better, he chose by far the most successful and popular comic to shit on. So now if there is an uptick in viewership it will be a crap load of people calling him a retard and a faggot, he can't shadow ban everyone.

It is very sad to watch an ACTUAL VETERAN being unwilling to work and keep his promises while complaining that others do. If he his past self met his current self in boot camp as a new recruit, he would spent half his day mocking that lazy, irresponsible fuck that landed in his unit with him.

You show me an AI piece to mock a successful comic that was created and distributed by talented people and it is ten times more successful than everything you made combined. This idiot thinks that others get successful as if by magic and he thinks that AI is magic that he can channel and use.

How could it? You ask someone else to make it (the AI). You might as well as claim to have randomly screamed the words "Pirates with Superpowers!" at a Japanese bar randomly that had Eiichiro Oda inside at that point of time but that does not mean he owes you royalties for One Piece. Honestly, for creative endeavors, AI is legally counter-productive. Your good ideas can get stolen by someone creative and talented with you being left in the dust while your bad ones will give you ridicule and scorn.

Ai is not "someone" it is a machine that cannot own property. Somebody shouting an idea in a room has at least a small chance of a claim because they are a human that can own intellectual property if filed correctly.

It depends if you post it publicly for likes and engagement like Richard C Meyer. Then you are giving it away. Anyway counter-productive is the norm for Comicsgate. Generating ideas other people will make money on instead of managing your existing projects efficiently to completion is on brand.

Yeah, it is not 1:1 but it still counts. You got someone (or in this case "someTHING") else to write it for you. You do not deserve credit for that. By asking the AI to do it, you admit you cannot work with someone with a brain to do something creative that would also demand a cut. It is pathetic to expect to own something like that. You could not have made it without the company that made the AI.

Exactly. If you cannot own it, keep it to yourself or put it publically on a fanfiction forum. But then again, AI scripts would get you laughed at once exposed. Zack just found a tool he things can do the work for him. Little did he know that the biggest tool was the one reflected in his mirror. He truly just wants someone to be his yes-man and every other man who tries to be critical and helpful is seen as the enemy. He had Chuck (a legendary creator) and Narwal (a promising uppencomer) both be willing to work with him but apparently even they were too much. Perhaps, just spitballing ideas here, not everything he came up with was good.

See, this is not the first time I say something like this, but vids with topics like these are the reason I sometimes think Meyer is actaully trying to troll and then lurk for reactions in places like this thread. You'd have to be RainMan levels of autistic to be so un-self-aware.

Even the story about him trying to get a rise from some Scotsman who's too forgiving/generous/oblivious to give much of a shit about his utterances is too close to his one-sided interactions with Will "TheCriticalDrinker" Jordan to be true. Heck, even all that about going out and with friends!!! sounds out of place coming from him.

What is there to forgive? Did he hurt the Drinker in any way? Everyone of his attacks bounces off and damages him. Magic Cylinder level of backfire on every turn. It is like someone trying to hit you only to keep slipping and hitting the floor face first. Every. Fucking Time.
