A good first two hours!

I sold thru the first 500 Exec boxes so quickly, and my email has a few angry big time supporters who missed it and felt like they should have gotten a better opportunity.

The only reason I limited them to 500 was because that was how many miniatures I have in my storage.

I contacted the company that made them and asked for a discount on 500 more, and they offered me 40% off the last price, so I ordered 600 (100 extra in case of loss or damages) and put up
an additional 500 Exec Box Editions. I will make TONS of money on this deal, and customers are happy, while the perk is still highly limited at 1000 pieces.

I think I'll get to that $250K, which was my goal for this campaign.

Nippy, this campaign won't get to $1,000,000. I have topped out at around 9000 backers, and this campaign doesn't have the fuel to get me there. Once the $200 perks sell thru, that gets me to $200,000, then we're floating by on infinite $100 "Junior Exec" perks and $30 Basic Tier hardcovers. Best case scenario, I'll land at $300K after two months. Very happily.

Everybody knew when the campaign was going live. Will you be doing anything special for the buyers of the first 500 to designate those as first-run? If not will you do some more headsketches of the previous books for the people who missed those?

It was at this point, my brain glazed over and I just remembered to keep an eye out for when Fight the Fish goes on Indiegogo or whenever Soulfinder gets a sequel, or when Rainbow Brute gets remembered tbh.

Peacocking over redoing or just reprinting old art and yet more variants and consoomer bait just reminds me of other works I'd be more interested in.

Did you notice my CG News Update with the bonus tchotchkes Mitch threw in to placate his backers @Adamska? Bonus stickers, trading cards, upgraded interior paper and a bonus 24 page story? As a backer how do you feel about it? Was it worth waiting nearly two years to get some extra trading cards?

I backed Red Rooster too and appreciate the gesture that Mitch knows he fucked up and has to do something special for the backers, but at this point I think the delay just outweighs anything he could do. I'm also concerned the 24 page bonus story will be used as an excuse to delay the book even further...

Agreed, the price per page is under 10 cents, making it an absolute bargain when compared to other crowdfunded campaigns.

The only thing out of that lot I remotely care for is the bonus 24 page story and the improved paper quality, mainly because the stickers and cards are just twaddle that is used to trick consoomers.

And I fully expect that shit to go to Walmart first like everything else he promised he would to people who gave him money on Indiegogo. All he legit had to do if he wanted to play both angles was release our stuff first as a special variant and then do the Walmart deal with like a different cover or without an autograph or something like that.

In short, I don't trust shit from him anymore, and honest to god don't expect to ever get my copy.

It's highly unlikely this is one massive coordinated gayop organized by Ethan and is rather Liam Gray acting on his own accord, switching his original target of the SWC brothers to DA Talks. Of course this is all merely speculation on my part but I find the coincidence of Liam Gray obtaining DA Talks personal information, their mutual stream on Rekieta's channel, Crow admitting that he and his cohosts are now receiving DMs threatening to dox DA Talks family and changing the story from Rekieta's fans being behind it to probably being those of Liam Gray to be an interesting thread to tug on.

TLDR: I think Liam's own spergery and history of acting by himself despite multiple attempts to tard wrangle him, including by Ethan, is far more plausible than Ethan being behind a giant gayop gone side ways with switching targets, new players and drama involving people he has probably never heard of.

Aside from some predictions of doom about the law of diminishing returns, I don't think many people doubted Frog's ability to make money. It's just 95% of what he does to grab that money, and everything else.

Overall today was a great success for Frog, thanks in no small part because of the very competitively priced Cyberfrog: Warts & All omnibus. In a followup stream, Frog even cited the research of the beloved, trusted Comicsgate figure that is Smug Freiza (unnamed). The only cloud in this silver lining would be Zack's sandbagging response to Frog's charity earlier, but what can one do?

That's like if Undertaker and Sting had a match and that only boosted the audience by 10-20%. Or The Beatles reunion right before Lennon's death reaching the same result. Sad really.
