What are the chances that the meals that Kat has been cooking for DSP are actually Hello Fresh orders. It kinda makes a lot of sense, I think that they would work out for Kat as DSP would order the food and she would cook it. Some of the meals that he has been mentioning as of late come from Hello Fresh as I know a vegan who uses the service for the partner.

That would require a smidgen of work from either of them. My SO tried the Hello Fresh thing for a couple months, last year. Maybe it's just me being largely kitchen illiterate, but it's not as simple as "push button, get food." There's legitimately no way possible that Phil and his filly are making anything other than Schwan's stuff. Phil may overpay for stuff thinking it's quality...but he's one of the laziest fuckers around, and Khet more than likely wants to do the bare minimum to keep her meal ticket in place while getting filled at the Jim.

Shwan's looks like some of the dinner meals he posted on instagram when he was single to when Kat first moved in, so 2017 into 2018. But I think that he low-key may be have changed something around the time that he stopped posting pics on a regular basis on Instagram.

One thing I don't get is that they have Kenmore elite sized fridge, so are they getting a meal service on top of groceries? At that point they must have that fridge filled to the brim at all times. For two people that doesn't make any sense, they have a fridge unit made for a large family.
Maybe someone will pepper him with questions about his eating habits and he'll slip up.

Tonight's dinner menu consists of baked chicken with mashed potatoes and corn.

During the second stream, dinner was elaborated upon. The baked chicken was shake-n-bake chicken thighs of which D$P claimed to have only eaten one*. Speculating on them purchasing a 'family pack' of thighs as this was the cut used in Mrs. D$P's crockpot chicken taco filling. 'Healthier meal' provider Mrs. D$P seems to prefer the fattiest cut of chicken over Panda choice of chicken breast ( the leanest cut ).

Additionally, D$P says they eat pasta once every other week. Compared to multiple sources of the pre-Khet D$P household dinning on pasta every week and often multiple times a week, one may speculate Mrs. D$P is more a meat and potatoes girl relegating pasta dishes to twice a month now days.

Mr. 3 tacos, 3 fajitas, 3 'sliders' and traditionally 2 turkey burgers only ate ONE chicken thigh last night.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, based off of D$P's fastidiousness with grease and visible fat in his food, he may have eaten only one thigh due to finding the amount of both visible fat and relative fattiness of the meat less palatable.

You know how that by the time you drag out 3 eggs and the oil and all that shit for your Betty Crocker box cake you may as well have just fucking got out the flour and sugar and made a goddamned proper cake but you suck and so pay 5 times the worth and shit? And how you know that store bought icing is margarine, sugar and food colouring but you buy it because it's in front of you? That cake, that greasy, diabetic cake is rather like Phil, a metaphorical slice of Phil. 10% more effort, and for less money, you could have a proper cake, but no, you get a glob of artificially flavoured sucrecarb.

EDIT: but don't forget, she baked those sliders, not fried them. Baking removes all the fat completely, adds fibre and sends $8 in starbucks vouchers to a starving ethiope.

I would not be surprised if Phil is extremely autistic when it comes to grocery shopping and buys only what he will eat that week. He stated that once in Connecticut there was a snowstorm and he ran out of food. In previous house tours his fridge and pantry was pretty bare bones.

Yeah I was watching Tevin's stream covering DSP's Hurricane Sandy videos and he only had Bacon and fajita mix during the Hurricane. I had a fridge and pantry full of food in case when that storm hit.

So that basically confirms that he uses some sort of meal delivery service. Maybe he still uses Schwan's but I doubt it.

It would be interesting to know how Phil does his shopping. Like does he read the Fred Meyer ads and look for deals? Shopping is a big deal for Full Adult Phil, does he make a list beforehand? Or is he an impulse shopper and buy what sounds good to him? Does he use a calculator while shopping to make sure he's within his super tight budget? Does he buy store brand or does he only buy more expensive name brand?

I think if we had insight into this area of Phil's life we would be able to save him a lot of money on groceries.

He then only buys like a little bit because he's a shortsighted moron that tends to hate humans and lives in the moment. He also impulse buys as well.

I think he's an impulse shopper. Probably goes to the grocery store for whatever he is craving, along with some alcohol.

Would like to see him actually go on a diet because right now, he's still a blob of a man. That would require some sort of heavy planning and eating smart, which we know he does not do. So Yeah highly doubt he makes a list at all.

I think the issue he doesn't want to leave the house by himself.

I remember when Kat was sick and DSP was stating that he would prefer that she would come with when shopping but then he said something really weird, "I could go shopping by myself.... I know what to get and I've done it before *snort*." I know after that comment he specifically mentions that he went shopping by himself when he was single. I mean of course you did Phil.
