Cropperb, who refers to himself as "Mr. Cropper," is Randroid who tried to start a primary school for children based on the principles of Objectivism, without any prior training in education, or even a college degree. He managed to move to a small town in Utah and get a few kids in his school, called "The Cropper Lyceum," for a summer, but it failed and he had to go back home.

What frightens me is that there were parents who were actually willing to entrust their offspring to Cropper's supervision.

I'm just trying to picture in my head what the elementary school lessons must have been like: "Once upon a time there was a brave little businessman who invented a musical chocolate pudding machine. He wanted to sell it to become very rich - remember kids, becoming rich is the main purpose of life! - but the evil government taxed him and took all his money so he couldn't make any more musical chocolate pudding machines. The little businessman became very sad and had to cry. But then another businessman came along and said: 'Hey, I got a super cool secret hideout in the mountains where the evil government won't find us. We can make money all day there and ride around in trains.' So to the mountains they went, where they could make money and keep it all and ride around in trains. They were very happy. The end."
