Cuphead - starring 30s visuals and 3 hours of jazz

I know this sounds childish but I think most complaints against this game spring from pure jealousy. Like they could never have the drive to make something like this.
ReL indie gaming deals with the important issues of $CURRENT_YEAR and not for simple joy and entertainment, you shitlord!

Some day I'd like a generic 8-bit indie game that pokes fun at generic indie 8-bit.

But hey at least Fat Polyamorist Tetrominoes is dangerhair friendly I guess.

Here's the simple solution: get all three of them to cuddle up. Woops I broke the puzzle.

But Tumblr folk are incapable of caring enough about anyone besides themselves to show genuine affection. The puzzle aspect unintentionally captures the mind games they have to go through to be able to have detached sex and still feel like a good person afterwards.

I'd like to get this but I can't play something like it on a keyboard. I don't have a PS4 on an XBox one so I'd be getting it on computer, however I'm using a Xbox wired controller and I wore out the A button playing River City Ransom Underground. It still works but it's so sensitive that the slightest touch will activate that button. Anybody know a good, similar USB controller that won't wear out as quick? I'm tempted to buy another Xbox controller because I really like them but I know I'm just going to mess it up again playing games like this.

The Mermaid is thicc haha.

Although on a more serious note I really do appreciate how much effort and energy went into this game. Seriously just compare how this game uses the 1930's style of animation to that awful Bendy game. With Bendy it barely utilizes the style of the 1930's style of animation. With Cuphead, however, everything is built around this style. From the characters to the abilities to the music, it's all so animated and it's wonderful. Add in great controls, awesome boss fights, and the fact that it pisses off speds and game journos, and you have my favorite game of this year. Also because the Mermaid is pretty thicc I'd give a IGN score of 100/100 "it's okay"

I actually like Bendy too so have a tentative agree rating.

As soon as a new game comes out it will explode with popularity again.
:offtopic:iirc scott is working on another game, but i doubt it'll be as big as when the series first took off.. and i don't think scott cares, he's not in it for the money (in the becoming rich sense). :offtopic:

wtf i like jazz now?

My only thing to say about Cuphead is this. Notice how no one gives a damn about Five Nights anymore?
I still remember back when people used to like that game when the first one was on steam greenlight, then the fandom started to emerge.

This may just be some of the best criticism (whether positive or negative) here for this game I've heard in a while.

Mermaid thicc-ness is named Cala Maria, BTW - and yeah, she sure is something...
