I don't think it will be Allie, a passage from the last chapter leads me to believe she has a greater plot significance. I'm calling Steve or Kuri.

Keep in mind, Serge once took a Thundershock directly to the chest. As in, the deadliest attack used by the EHPF in situations where lethal force is authorized.

While I'm a little late to tell you this, while I have said before that I don't really like all these "CWC Jong Un" fics, yours is an exception. You basically took what Chris did in the comic books and didn't really depict him as this intentionally draconian leader, but more like a child who has absurd political power. And what's more, you actually write from the perspective of the bystanders in Sonichu's zappin' adventures. You do a pretty good job explaining why Chris's idea of a society wouldn't actually work, but expand beyond the A-Log "Chris is Hitler Blarararararargh!" And in a believable way(or at least as believable as you can get in a world populated with Pokémon and Sonic recolors)

Thank you very much! It would've been easy to make Chris a standard irredeemable and one-dimensional villain, but what's the point when he gives us such good material? His mindset and attitude are incredibly fun to play around with in the context of the story. On that note, I think you're gonna love the last part of Sub-Episode 4. While it doesn't exactly make Chris a sympathetic antagonist, it at least gives us some of his background and covers the rise of CWCville and the chus.

Also, to anyone checking this thread, I'm still workin' on it, but I just lost the last three pages due to me being an idiot and my computer deciding to restart and lose my progress. As soon as I can retype them, the last segment's going up on DA and the complete Sub-Episode will go up on FF.

CWCollateral: Sub-Episode 4 (Part D)

Nick and Nate's arrival to Slumberland is interrupted when Mary Lee Walsh, Clyde Cash, and the rest of the Honey Badgers suddenly teleport into the base. The impending celebration of their leader's return soon shatters with the revelation that the EHPF are converging on the PVCC base, commanded by a familiar and vengeful foe. With the greatest battle of the uprising bearing down upon them and two of their squadmates presumed missing or dead, the Jerkops' courage will be put to the test as the CWCville Revolution takes a new and horrifying turn for the worse.

With Kevin's true ancestry revealed, the journey through Count Graduon's memories continues into the dawn of the twenty-first century and beyond. Together, the Jerkop and his immaterial guide must explore Christian Weston Chandler's strange and incredible rise to power, casting new light on the dictator's childhood and what led him to bring about the rise of the Electric Hedgehog Pokemon and the violent coup known as Occupation Day. The web of lies and treachery is unraveling with every new memory, and Kevin's role in the coming battle grows more and more prominent as he and Graduon discover more of Chris's secrets. In the end, the spirit reveals, the Jerkop's actions may very well determine the ultimate fate of CWCville and everyone in it. Fate has guided him this far, but the final outcome of the story is his alone to decide.

The time has come for Kevin Shaw's awakening.

STORY UPDATE!

CWCollateral: Chapter 17 (Part A)

Kevin awakens in an unfamiliar place, nearly twelve hours after his brush with death at the hands of Sonichu. He soon discovers that he has been brought to a large military base outside of Charlottesville, Virginia, and that he is now in the custody of Colonel Matthew Devoria, Kacey's father. After learning of the past day's events, he agrees to return to CWCville alongside an elite strike team, in the hopes of establishing contact between the PVCC and the American military. Before he can leave, the Jerkop is tasked by Count Graduon with retrieving a lost Sawabian artifact from the tomb where its scepter was sealed. Combined with the spirit's psychic abilities, this could very well give Kevin a fighting chance against the might of Sonichu and the Chaotic Combo.

Meanwhile, the revolt in CWCville has given way to an all-out citizen uprising. Riots and shootouts fill the streets as the PVCC, EHPF, and True Blue battle to take control of the city. In the midst of it all, the PVCC transmits a distress broadcast, using the captured satellite on CWCSPACE One to send out footage of the atrocities that Christian Weston Chandler and his forces have committed over the past ten years. In response, President Barack Obama invites the Mayor to a live debate on national television, in the hopes of reaching an agreement on how to deal with the CWCville crisis. When Chandler reveals that he has no intention of backing down from his stubborn claims of victimhood and trolling, the stage is set for America to finally take direct military action against the chus. A U.S. invasion is inevitable, and the fall of CWCville has already been set in motion.

At this rate, by the end of the story, I'll probably be releasing about one chapter segment per year. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that.
 
I was half expecting you would describe you-know-who as having you-know-what in light of the recent Christorical events. I was also expecting when Kevin was going to the Viridian Forest that he was going to bury Kel. But great chapter overall. It's nice to know you're still active!

You-know-who is definitely going to do something related to you-know-what. I'm not letting that opportunity slip away. Trust me, you're gonna want to keep an eye on these next few chapters. Hilarity is doomed to ensue.

I love your idea about Kel, but unfortunately, her body is currently at Slumberland. Perhaps a somber burial scene can be arranged for later, though...

Damn, never had that happen before. I think the site's pretty safe overall, but I tend to upload FF chapters once the DA parts are all up. Would you prefer a different way to read each part? I can make a read-only document on Google Drive for those who can't get on DA.

Operation Skyraider kicks off with a surge of adrenaline as Kevin Shaw, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and the American strike team are airdropped directly into the war zone that CWCville has become. Faced with the daunting task of rejoining the PVCC high command at the now besieged Slumberland, Kevin leads his new allies through the embattled streets of Christian Weston Chandler's fallen city. Though the revolution is gaining ground as more and more of CWCville's civilians join the cause, Sonichu's vengeful campaign against the resistance threatens to wipe their single greatest asset off the face of the earth. With the lives of his friends, Clyde Cash, Mary Lee Walsh, and the defenders of Slumberland hanging in the balance, Kevin and the strike team must push through an army of EHPF officers to reach their goal. But even the skill and firepower of the U.S. military may not be enough to ensure their mission's success. Even Sonic the Hedgehog finds himself pushed to the limit when he finally comes face to face with the frightening results of what Christian Weston Chandler and Sonichu have wrought. And as the legendary hedgehog quickly discovers, things have undoubtedly changed for the worse since his last visit to CWCville.

P.S. For all of you who remember the excellent webcomic Sonichu: The True and Honest Comic Series, the comic's co-creator and head writer LordEd is now on board with the CWCollateral creative team. Ed will be helping me out with dialogue, some key scenes, and concept art.
 
So I stop checking this thread every day just in time for it to update. Oh well. Fuckin awesome. Looks like everything is building up to the big finale.

I'm already halfway through the next part and going at supersonic speed. I think I might actually get it done this weekend.
